Popusa revuelta with the side of spicy cabbage it comes with
    Cristian G.

This is the place to get your popusa fix. I recommend the popusas revuelta which have pork, beans and cheese. The thing that puts these popusas over any other ones are the cabbage that come with the order. A little spicy but complement the popusa perfectly. I definitely consider el coladito a hidden gem with low prices. With that being said, I only ever get popusas so I cannot exactly vouch for anything else. PS THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH

VERDADERA FELICIDAD DE DESTINO Thanks to all my fellow FOODIE YELPERS THAT POST PICTURES As always, any road trips..Any fun adventures, I go to Yelp for our food finds.. To be honest, I never read a review. I just look at the pictures of the food and pick where we're going to go. And this method has yet to fail me. This place deserves a review.. We are total Gringos, but we appreciate the Immigrants that come and make our life/world a better place with their flare of flavors in food.Their willingness to make us feel at home and appreciated. All I know is,this food was one of five or six restaurants that we hit for Pupuas and this one knocked it out of the park for me.. The Papuas were full of cheese but a little thicker with the corn tortilla ( Masa reminds me of a really good green corn tamales from Tucson Arizona) They're condiments that go with the Pupuas had a little more flavor than the other places we had gone to as well.. We basically tried the same meal at every place we went so we could truly compare them.. Their Baleada was just bean/cheese/creme where we had meat/egg/avocado in the rest we tried.. Again NO hate for anywhere we ATE.. But these guys knock it out of the ballpark for me with the beans. Oh my God, they were the best I've had on the East Coast.. They were very kind and very understanding with our lack of communication skills..( understand more then we speak) Since we always hit El Presidente market and El Rey's before heading home on our trips to Miami. This now will be where we will eat and we will just take the El Rey sandwiches home. Not sure what magic they do in that kitchen but I'm willing to go back again and again and again and enjoy every magical bite.. Looking for the real deal..? This Is The Place Folks...TRUE DESTINATION HAPPINESSES

I stopped in for lunch after a work meeting and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I needed a "steak break," so I opted for the "I Can't Believe It's Not Carbonara"--and I have zero noodle regrets! The zucchini substitute combined with a delicious carbonara sauce meant there was no concern about the lack of traditional pasta. The zucchini more than filled the role, and I certainly appreciated the caloric savings. The chicken was also well-cooked, flavorful, and moist. I especially loved the tableside delivery and the unique touch of being served directly from a colander. The order isn't huge, which I appreciated, it felt the right size for lunch without weighing down your afternoon. Now, there were likely no calorie savings with the Serrano Ham Croquettes, but they are small and easily shareable if you want to spread the love. They are a true step up and a legitimate treat compared to run-of-the-mill mozzarella sticks. The decor kitsch continues right until the end--the check arrived in an old-school lunchbox! The staff were great throughout the meal, making for a seamless and enjoyable lunch.

From the moment we sat down, our waitress was warm and attentive. I wish I'd gotten her name. She made great recommendations that were all delicious. Is a simple but effective menu with starters included with the main dish. Great value for their portions. We had no complaints about the food and the drinks were just as good. The restaurant is very well managed and organized. It's a beautiful location with gorgeous views of golden hour.

First of all, the vibes were immaculate. We sat outside and it was so peaceful at first because I think we were literally the first people there for happy hour/lunch. It felt like we unlocked a secret level before the crowd came. Perfect weather, great energy, good music, cute scenery... very "main character with a discounted cocktail" energy. Now let's talk FOOD. Every single dish we ordered was SO flavorful. Like somebody in that kitchen actually believes in seasoning and I just want to personally thank them for their service. Even the fries??? And let's have a serious conversation because not all fries deserve rights. Especially those thick overly battered fries that feel like you're chewing on drywall. These fries were thin, crispy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned... exactly how fries should be. No unnecessary jacket on them. Just vibes. The tuna tartare was AMAZING. Fresh, flavorful, light, addictive. I could've ordered another one and acted like it was "for the table." The calamari was cooked perfectly too. Nice and airy, tender, not rubbery. You know how some calamari fights back when you chew it? Not this one. Peaceful calamari. The edamame with the chunky sea salt was weirdly one of my favorite things. So simple but SO good. And the Korean wings??? BABY. Those were "cancel your evening plans and order another round" wings. We don't say "to die for" anymore because positivity, growth, healing... but let's just say I would dramatically think about those wings again later. The drinks were great, the prices during happy hour honestly felt fair, and our waiter was SO sweet and attentive the entire time. Overall, I would absolutely come back. Honestly, if my responsibilities would allow it, I'd pull up to this happy hour every day like it's a part time job!

We asked to sit downstairs where the DJ starts around 11PM. The energy was great with incredibly comfortable and spacious seating. There was a 2 hour limit at the table, but we moved to the bar after our meal. Loved the caviar potato as an appetizer, and the beef tenderloin literally melted in my mouth. The downstairs scene gets pretty loud just an FYI. Service was top notch. Seems pretty trendy and mainstream, but definitely worth it.

Let's start with the good, because credit where it's due: the food is genuinely excellent, particularly the fish and seafood, which were the clear stars of the spread. And our server, while I'll get to a quibble shortly, was fun, warm, and thoroughly professional. Now the rest. Brunch should feel like a leisurely indulgence, not a contact sport. The meat station had a queue of 20+ people at peak -- I came for great food, not a deli ticket. The space is crowded and genuinely hard to navigate. Champagne required actively hunting down a server, whereas the Setai simply leaves a bottle at your table and lets you breathe. Coffee is $7 a cup -- at a brunch of this price point, charging for coffee feels a little cheeky. Then there was the pacing. Well before our two hours were up, our (otherwise lovely) server began the gentle wrap-up and produced the bill -- which is a curious energy for a "linger and enjoy" brunch. And we were charged an extra 2% as a "large party" of seven... at a buffet. Where we served ourselves. I'm still working out the math on that one. If you want a beautiful setting, live music, better drinks, attentive service, and zero queues, the Setai brunch wins -- every single time. Mila, save it for the nightlife.
