I stopped by on a Friday evening and tried the Picanha for two, served with rice and beans. The steak was cooked very well, and the rice and beans complemented the meal nicely. Overall, I'd rate the food an honest four--it was definitely above average, though not quite the best I've had. The service was also really nice. Definitely a nice place to have a lowkey dinner.

Torresmo de rolo

While I ordered take out for the first time OMG I know MUST go eat at the restaurant. Had the Picanha and Torresmo de Rolo both were great!!

We walked by recently and realized this restaurant changed ownership and decided to check it out! We love Feijoada so we came for dinner to try some. It's a black beans stew that's cooked for hours with dried beef pork loin smoked pork bacon sausage and ribs, served with stir fry collard greens sliced orange, rice, and toasted yuca flour. We ordered that for 2 people and then got a chicken catupiry pastel to start. The pastel was super crunchy and delicious! I'm glad we split it because it was hugggeee! Then when our main came out it was played in a cast iron skillet along with a large pot with the stew. The Feijoada was super flavorful with large pieces of ribs. We devoured most of it but still had some left to take home. We skipped dessert this time but can't wait to go back for more! Check it out if you're in North Beach.

Excellent food. We got fejiouda (hopefully didn't butcher the name too much) and shrimp with the creamy sauce, and cheese bread. Everything was excellent. Initially we saw it was totally empty but decided to try it out, this place is awesome.

The food was excellent. The portions are really large, too. I had feijoada and it was really good here. It took a bit longer than my dining companions, but worth the wait. The cheesy bread is good, although too much food for me. This spot seem more like a less touristy area, but it's definitely a neighborhood gem.

Service was fantastic; even kind! And the Picanha was to die for would definitely recommend for Brazilian cuisine lovers!!

I dine at Fogo de Chão about once a month back home in Georgia, so I already had high expectations, but the level of service here truly exceeded anything I've experienced before. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Manager Sergio was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran seamlessly throughout our visit. It's clear he takes great pride in his team and the guest experience. Our server, Manuel, was top-notch--professional, friendly, and always one step ahead of our needs. Brandon also stood out with his attentiveness and positive energy, consistently checking in and ensuring we were well taken care of. And Marisabel at the cashier was the perfect finishing touch--warm, efficient, and genuinely kind. The food was just as impressive as the service. The meats were flavorful, well-seasoned, and perfectly prepared. What really stood out was how accommodating the gaucho chefs were when they learned that I prefer my cuts a bit more well done. Without hesitation, they made sure to bring options cooked exactly to my liking, which made the experience feel personalized and thoughtful. Overall, this location sets a new standard. Between the exceptional service, the high-quality food, and the attention to detail, this Miami Beach Fogo de Chão delivers an experience that goes above and beyond. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town--and honestly, I wish my home location in Georgia could match this level of excellence! Fyi: They will be relocating to Lincoln!

The food came out in tiny portions, and instead of bringing everything together, they would bring one small dish and then make us wait another 20 minutes for the next item. The entire meal felt disorganized, and we spent most of the time just waiting. What made it worse was that the quality and experience did not match the price at all. Despite the terrible service, we still decided to leave a $20 tip because we understand servers work hard. However, after leaving, I noticed my card was charged $67, which was shocking and very frustrating. This is not how customers should be treated. Slow service, poor communication, disappointing portions, and unclear charges made the entire experience feel like a waste of money. I hope management looks into this because customers deserve better service and transparency.

Let us also note how when we asked for the check, mind you, it was not busy (lol), it took several reminders from us. When we finally got the check, she instantly showed us the additional tip screen. It's insane that this place is rated so high. The food was very much average - not terrible but definitely not amazing. Presentation was okay but very much overrated and overpriced... the picanha and the salmon were ~ 30 each. I'm a small individual and yet the steak was not even enough to fill me up. If you are in a dire need for food and are okay with waiting a decent bit of time with virtually no service, feel free to stop by here. However, if you are truly looking for a nice place to dine and feel like you're getting your money's worth in at the very minimum, taste,... do not stop by here :)

The overlap at 2 PM between two drinks for the price of one and the brunch menu was very attractive. So why not? I'd read the reviews of others before coming here and people seem to love it or hate it. Unfortunately, I'm on Team Meh. Quick summary would be below average food cooked poorly at extremely high prices. Two light meals, and one round of two for one drinks for $80 come with high expectations. If I had come with low expectations, they would not even have achieved that. To put it into context, I asked the waiter what he would recommend from the brunch menu and he said the burgers were excellent. I looked at the menu and it said 8 ounce burgers with a variety of different toppings. I ordered the Gorgonzola burger. I expected a big juicy burger, considering this is a steakhouse, with nice fresh toppings. The toppings I got were good but not exciting and the blue cheese they used did not have the familiar taste of Gorgonzola. The burger was a flat patty, which clearly didn't even weigh a quarter of a pound, which was overcooked like a hockey puck and had the flavor of a fast food burger. Not even a good fast food burger. toppings were pretty good ut lacked balance and unfortunately did nothing to mask the awful taste of the meat. And even with the bacon (did not see or taste any), onions (overcooked), blue cheese and barbecue sauce, there was not enough food to satisfy my appetite and I am leaving hungry. We ordered two drinks and the drinks weren't bad. They were generous pours and were tasty and well worth the two for one price and actually a bargain for Miami Beach. So if I can leave with one good recommendation for those who want to, stop by for drinks when it's two for one. I'm sure you would be satisfied. My wife had the chicken and waffles. I didn't taste them, but the waffles look like eggos but smaller. She said they tasted good and then said.middling. At over $20 she should be saying they were great. All in all if they can't get a small meal like this right, I'm not coming here for $150 steak. There are a lot of restaurants on the Lincoln Road mall, including another churrascaria. I personally would not waste my time or money on this one. Sidenote: the waiter Camilo was excellent. He took great care of us and even brought water for our dog.

The environment of the restaurant is dark and mysterious, edgy and luxurious, which elevated my anticipation of the meal to come. The complimentary glass of champagne was a nice welcome. When it was time to dine, all the guests for the evening were led down a low lit hallway to the dining room. When the frosted glass doors slid open, they revealed a beautiful chef's table situated in the center of the room. All the lighting, colors, and decoration point your eyes toward the chef as if he was on a stage. The restaurant is small, only a few seats around the table. This was nice because you get to know about your fellow guests. Everyone in attendance was so fun and personable. Now for the food. I will confess, I do not normally even like sushi or crave Asian food of this style. However, I loved every dish that was served to me. They hit all the senses - sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. Other reviews have gone into detail about the various dishes and how good they are so I don't need to. I just want to echo those points and simply express gratitude to the chef for opening my horizons to enjoy these dishes I would not normally have. The showmanship is just right. The chef jokes with the guests and shows off his techniques but there is nothing kitschy or cliché about it. If anyone is concerned about that, let me allay your fears. There were three birthdays being celebrated that night, one of which was my friend's. The restaurant treated us all with a delicious coconut ice cream topped with caviar and finished with a cloud of gold dust. Seeing my friend light up from the gold dust finish made me so happy. Everyone who had a birthday walked away feeling extra special. Finally, a word about cocktails. The Japanese whiskey old fashioned was stunningly good. I had two of them. They source some very old and rare Japanese whiskeys to make their cocktails so they were certainly special. Would I recommend Nossa to others? Absolutely! They limit reservations to a max of two people so go with a close friend or loved one on a special occasion. It was be an experience you both remember and cherish.

Highlights: * Ultra luxury Omakase…read more* Starting at $295+++ per person * An exciting and exclusive experience dinner and a culinary "Show" Omakases in the Miami area have become almost as common to find as Lamborghinis and Ferraris on South Beach lately and high end venues where you can easily beg for the right to pay in advance and spend over $1,000 ++ per couple for dinner with wine or sake, tax, tip and extras, are becoming quite common. If you're going to drop a grand or two for dinner you are 1. Looking for something really special, 2. Want great food, great service and a special experience, 3. Can afford it or at least for a special occasion. I can't speak to your budget but Nossa, which means "Wow" in Portuguese will provide you with a very unique experience, a "Wow". You pay for a non refundable meal on Tock, in advance. Tax, tip, beverages and extras will be paid onsite later. There are only 15 or so spots per night, 6-8 per seating. Be sure to pay attention to the email instructions. You must arrive in advance (not Miami time). Part of the fun is finding the place. You are directed to a small poke shop where it looks like you're in the wrong place. You ask the cashier for instructions. He hands you an envelope with your name on it. You open it up and it tells you how to find Nossa. There is a secret hidden entrance close by and they will ask you the password before allowing you in. The secret door opens to a small speakeasy type bar with silent movies playing on the wall and you are offered a complimentary glass of bubbles (Prosecco). You are later escorted into a beautiful room, black with red lights, Japanese lanterns, jellyfish art, a large open kitchen and a custom semi circular marble dining counter with a spot light over each guests service area, where you and a few other guests (8 total maximum) will enjoy watching the night's preparations served directly in front of you. Depending on the theme of the night the focus might be on fish, wagyu, caviar, sake or whiskey matching. Chef Max Kamakura of Brazilian and Japanese background starts the show. Expect a lot of smoke, fire and showmanship as he creates 13 or more courses for you. On our visit in August the focus was Wagyu A5, see photo of menu. We had 7 different Wagyu preparations (oyster, tartare, smoking sando, tataki, Shabu shabu, uni, lemon and chasola), with 4 nigiris and dessert. We also took them up on several additional nigiris which were $20 each ++ per person extra, adds up. There is a small wine and sake list or corkage is available for wine collectors. I found it interesting that Nossa ages their own fish. Yes certain fish can be aged if you know what your doing. And like prime dry aged beef the fish can gain amazing complexity. We tried some aged fish next to fresh and it was quite surprising. Chef Kamakura uses an array of special cooking gadgets, smokers, and at times it looks like the lab of a mad scientist or a magician. When he's done you are served in an array of unique and attractive dishes. Nossa is not for everyone, but if you're an adventurous foodie who can handle Michelin prices and are looking for a unique experience then Nossa is for you.

We were so surprised and impressed by the service, quality, value, and execution of food. Alberto was our main waiter who was supported by additional staff who were friendly and attentive- simply professional and hospitable. We tried the ham croquettes, melted cheese with chorizo, and fried calamari for starters; and the tomahawk, rib eye, and picana steaks as our mains. The croquettes were so delicious with two dipping sauces- the green herbal one was a perfect pairing. The melted cheese was excellent, prepared and presented in a cast iron skillet with crisp edges. The fried calamari was delightful as well with large fresh pieces and accompanied by fried zucchini chips amidst the calamari. The stars of the show were the meats that were prepared just the way we wanted and like. Each person in our group ranked the meats in different order but we loved the taste with the sides- sweet potato fries, regular fries, grilled corn, and the salt and sauces. The meal was better than expected and just what we needed. We left very happy, very satisfied, and very grateful for the experience. Thanks to Alberto and team!

To start, I was trying to eat at Tapelia and when we asked to be seated we were put in Ole Ole…read morerestaurant which was confusing but we went with it as we didn't want to sit outside. A short recap of the restaurant is the food is not worth the wait at all! We placed our order of drinks, appetizers and main dishes at 2:57. The restaurant was at maybe 60-70% capacity. Our drinks came relatively fast. When we noticed our patrons next to us had already almost finished their appetizers despite being seated AFTER we placed our order we started getting annoyed that our guacamole appetizer hadn't even appeared despite it now being 3:20! When Henry, the manager, asked if we were ok, we asked where our appetizers were in a respectful way and our waitress, Adriana, came by immediately saying, "you only ordered 5 min ago" with such atrocious attitude that wouldn't even be suited for an off Highway Diner. Henry did a great job trying to lighten the experience, and our guacamole did arrive shortly after. Then at 3:45 when we hadn't seen our waitress once since the previous encounter, and our main dishes hadn't arrived we went straight for Henry and he said, "oh you're food is done, are you ready for them?" As if we had to ask versus them arriving when done. They came immediately after. Henry offered to remove one of our appetizers for the trouble but did not. Which is fine, we hadn't expected it, though it was more just annoying as he said he would. I love to tip good service, though this is a prime example of why it is not ok for 20% to be automatically included in a check. The patrons next to us had a different server and their food came out with great time and they seemed to have the experience we were hoping for when we arrived. So I would have happily tipped their server 20%, however Adriana did not deserve hers and by automatically getting it there is no way for her to be motivated to improve. Onto food, three of us ordered a salad with steak, I forget the name but the steak was so hard to cut and even harder to chew. The other in our group ordered the Chiro Burger? And there was chorizo in it, and lacked flavor per him. The guacamole was delicious as were the fries but the melted cheese with chorizo was not good. Miami has such amazing food, so I'd skip this place.
