My first trip at Little Brazil in Collins Avenue was good. We ordered the Chicken Parmigiana/Milanesa, Picanha Palito, and the Camarão ao alho e óleo. The chicken parmigiana is huge. Crispy on the outside and tender inside. The Camarāo is served with olive oil and bread. The Picanha Palito were strips of delicious picanha served with french fries. They were all good! Let me start with the service... the best that I can remember in Miami Beach. Rafael took amazing care of us from the second we arrived. Patricia was equally as welcoming and amazing. We decided to try to lunch special since we recently moved to this side of town and my husband is Brazilian. Not to mention we both took the day off. The food!!! Ok, the lunch special was out of this world. $15 for picanha!!! Of course we had to try the collard greens and dessert. look at the pictures. We didn't leave a crumb of any anything! The food arrived quickly and HOT!! Steaks were cooked to perfection, beans were full of flavor. Even the French fries were great. I'm not a huge fan of collard greens but these were terrific. Found this place because of great yelp reviews when I was visiting Miami for the day. Restaurant wasn't busy when we walked in so the ambience was nice. It was my partner's first time trying Brazilian food so we were excited to try different items on the menu. First off, I want to say that the food was amazing. Truly mouthwatering flavors and textures of both the appetizer and entrees. Now for the negative and the only part of the experience that was a major disappointment. The service by the waitstaff was truly awful. Ordering food took so long and it took forever just to get a glass of water. When it came time to check out, our server seemed to avoid us when I looked around and even raised my hand to ask for the check. I finally had to stand up from my table and go back to the bussing station to ask someone to deliver the check. Well it was very disappointing to see that the bill had already included a 18% service tip for our server. Now the service made sense, no matter how attentive or not the servers are-they'll get a pretty great tip regardless. This was a disappointing end to an otherwise fabulous tasting meal. I don't think the kitchen should suffer for the lack of front of house service so I would recommend trying this place still but maybe get your meal to go! read more

What's not to love! Little Brazil is amazing, serving up truly authentic Brazilian food. The dadinhos de tapioca were delicious, and the pepper jelly made the perfect dipping sauce! I usually don't eat pork, but the Linguiça Com Mandioca (Brazilian sausage with yucca) was unbelievable, especially with the chimichurri sauce. One of our favorite restaurants in Miami beach! The ambience is always great and upbeat, great music and the service has always been incredible as well. My favorite things to order are their freshly made fruit juices, lemonade or passion fruit in particular. Their fried kebabs to start with and of course the picanha as an entree. Hidden gem in North Bay Village serving tasty Brazilian dishes. As we walked in, the place is inviting and cozy. The servers also greeted us with a smile. Ordered the Dadinhos de Tapioca to start. These fried cheese cubes were very savory. First time trying them and I'm hooked. We also got the Sauteed Garlic Shrimp. It was delightful. That garlic sauce is perfect to dip the bread. I've been years ago and this is the first time back in awhile. Mixed feelings because we did enjoy the food, but the prices have increased dramatically which was a turn off for me. Beef stroganoff used to be $18-20...now it's $30?? Four small pieces of pão de queso is $8? Again all good, but disappointed in how much everything has gone up. We really enjoyed the steak, it was cooked well and the flavor was great. The garlic shrimp were tasty as well. We also ordered the chicken stroganoff and it was good but didn't taste like stroganoff to me, the sauce was very mustardy/yellow. You can taste the codfish and feel it in little pieces. -PICANHA: grill steak topped with garlic and served with rice and beans. The steak was on point. We ordered medium and it was perfectly cooked. The beans were amazing as well. Its hard to find good beans so this one really surprised us. -MOQUECA: This was the plate of the day. They offered it and we decided to try it. Its a seafood stew that comes with white rice. It was really good. My only concern with this one is that I think the portion can be bigger. Even the appetizers were bigger than this. and last but no least. Our favorite part. The dessert. -PROFITEROLE: OMG! I still feel the flavor in my mouth when thinking on this. YOU NEED TO TRY IT. They are small hollow pastries, filled with ice cream and covered with hot chocolate fudge! DELiCIOUS. We were so full that we couldnt finish the dessert and I almost cry for it . I will come back just to get more of it. The service was really good. When we went they were only 2 other tables besides us, and the 2 waitress were amazing and attentive on everyone. We picked up a kids menu chicken platter for our son when we had dinner reservations elsewhere without him. If we had another night in town we'd definitely have come here for the whole family, the kids platter was so good! Honestly blown away by the kids platter: homemade chicken strips, beans (with bacon!), rice, and french fries. The beans were really well seasoned, cooked with bacon, in a tasty, rich broth. The rice was cooked with garlic and perfectly cooked. Even the french fries were top notch. And the chicken strips were perfect golden brown, moist and well seasoned. I'm not sure my two year old really appreciated what he was eating. And at $12 it felt like a really great value, more than enough food for even an adult. I just wish we'd had another night in town to try out the rest of the menu. Well if you've never tried one then you haven't lived!! It's a fried, cheese or meat filled pastry. The ones here tasted like they were baked, but I could be wrong. They were more bready than fried flaky which was fine. It was still delicious! My boo had the beef one and I had the cheese one. It was served with house made hot sauce which was very hot lol (for me). I only had a small amount on my pastry and it was good to go. We had some Guarana sodas with those to start. We decided after to get the picanha for one and split it. I'm so glad we did bc it was huge! It served 3 pieces of picanha, rice, beans and farofa. It was SO good! It was storming really bad when we decided to go out for dinner. We had a hankering for Brazilian steak and this Yelp recommendation was spot on. I think the weather kept most people inside so we were seated right away. We had appetizers (coxinha and pastel) which were good but the pièce de résistance was the picanha steak. I got the 14oz and my fiancé got the 20oz. I wasn't sure either of us would finish our food but everything tasted so good we managed to eat it all!!
