Churros.
John D.

Tuesday date night. Google hours stayed open till 9pm. Arrived a little after 8 to be advised that restaurant closed at 8. We ended up walking down the street just to have them catch up and said we could dine in. There's no dining in the restaurant but there's a few tables on the sidewalk. It was taco Tuesday so we ordered three tacos. Carne asada. Chipotle chicken. Jackfruit pibil. The tortilla was two layered and slightly crispy around the edges while warm and soft on the inside. The sauces (mango, mild, and spicy) were flavourful. Fries supreme. Wow. It was literally indescribable. All the flavours complemented each other without being overwhelming. Any fries supreme you ever had, this fries supreme was next level. Churros. I felt it was slightly over cooked, but it's churros so it was still tasty. Big shoutout to the waitress who stayed late for us!! Many thanks!! Would 100% return for tacos and fries supreme.

This place has been on my radar for a while, so when my niece came for a visit we thought we'd give it a whirl. Based on our first experience, we'll definitely be going back. Located on Main St in Kingsville, it's a great addition to the dining establishments in the area. The restaurant itself is small-ish, but we sat at a booth at the front window, giving us ample room to spread out. Walls are brightly painted with a Mexican "Day of the Dead" motif. The colour choices give the illusion of a larger space. Our waitress was very friendly and made a few recommendations from the menu and specials. She explained that food is brought out when it's prepared (so it may be in random order), but this ensures freshness and peak flavour. We ordered a few drinks while waiting for our food. We ordered: Nacho chips with salsa 2 types of tacos (4 in total) Kung Pao chicken Wings Sirrachi coconut chicken Wings Dan-Dan Noodles (with pork) Every dish was off the charts good so it's hard to pick a stand out. I loved the Sirrachi wings, someone else loved the Kung Pal wings, while my niece loved the Dan-Dan noodles. Honestly, there wasn't anything we wouldn't order again....everything was deliscious. Each dish had multiple layers of flavour combining sweet, sour and heat. We spied another table who had ordered churros (which looked amazing) however, we were stuffed..but on my next visit I'll save room for them. In summary: Great atmosphere Fantastic service Stellar food It's rare to get all 3 together, but they pulled it off. All of us said we couldn't wait to return again.

I'm afraid to admit how often I order Eldiablo... we have become big fans - we love the vegan options they offer (not many in town). But everything else is so good too! They are so much more than just a taco joint... the fusion of flavours in each dish is perfection. There is some spice, but totally manageable- and the drink menu helps with the heat. We like the chips and guac (obvi), sichuan eggplant app, queso fundido - so yum! , barbacoa taco, jackfruit taco, THE BEST a tofu taco... even the kids tacos are great! The summer mexi bowl is a perfect anytime salad / meal - and the Dan Dan is ALWAYS a yes for us. I wish they were open everyday.. but I get how small businesses work and they deserve those days off! I'm happy they are open for lunches again - anytime is taco time! **oh yeah. The tuna tartare. Get it. It's so good. Tastes so fresh, the crunch is perfect. It's better than beers on a patio. Final thoughts... you always have room for a churro. Also tell them I say hi!

Very warming and elegant interior with a lot of wood accents. Shared a nice booth looking out onto Main St downtown. Our server; Charlotte was very charming and attentive. Craft cocktails were very good. My wife had the Honey Teriyaki Salmon with Rice and red pepper and seasonal squash vegetable. The salmon was fresh, very tasteful and nicely prepared. I had the Beef Medallions with peppercorn Demi glaze, mashed potatoes and the same seasonal vegetable. The medallions were cooked perfectly, tender and very flavorful. If visiting Kingsville, ON. We would definately recommend giving them a try.

My mom had also called earlier this afternoon to make a reservation, and as we arrived for 5:00pm, it wasn't that busy at all, which was great. The menu was a bit more on the expensive side, but this was a birthday treat. We had started with a side caesar salad for my dad, and my sister, mom and I spilt the deep fried pickle spears. The deep friend pickle spears were coated with crushed pretzels, and were absolutely delicious, and my dad enjoyed his caesar salad, perfect amount of bacon bits, cheese and croutons. For our actual main meals, I ordered the Four Cheese Tortellini with spinach and mushrooms in a blush sauce, my mom ordered the Ale House Nachos, my sister ordered the Waffle Fries and My dad and brother in law ordered a burger; all food was delicious and cooked perfectly. As we were eating, more people started to come into the restaurant and it filled up a bit, the ambiance was very relaxed, and the lighting was dark and reflected that. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly, made sure we had enough to drink and checked up on us a couple of times. This was a great place for a family meal together in the quaint town of Kingsville, which is boasting with so many local places to come to eat at, this being one of them. I enjoyed everything about my time here and the meal I had; next time I'm going to try the waffle fries.

Here is the lay of the land: Check in at the little red table in the center of the outdoor courtyard if you want "full service". - which means eating and drinking at a table with wait staff. It is not seat yourself at the outdoor tables, like we originally thought. There is a nice sized bar indoors and seating at the bar is first come first served. We ordered several of the small plate "snacks" and I can tell you that the hummus is not to be missed. It is served with (homemade?) tortilla chips that are absolutely addictive. They have lots of choices for wine, beer, and cocktails. Towards the back entrance of the property, there is a drink truck where you can also order "walkaway" food and drinks. Not entirely sure where you sit with the food/drinks you order, as most of the seating seemed reserved for full service. Additionally, there is a photo booth for pics (long line) and Warda Patisserie is right next door and accessible through a garden walkway.

The inside restaurant area is also beautiful. We wanted to sit inside at the bar, so we waited for some seats to open up. If you want to sit outside, all you have to do is order at the bar and they'll serve your drinks in plastic cups for you to take outside. The rhubarb pie punch was so delicious I had to order it twice! Probably one of my favorite cocktails I've ever had. I also ordered the maurixio cattelan, which tasted like ginger ale. For a snack before dinner, we chose to get the burrata and it was so refreshing. The service was great and our bartender was super friendly! The logo with the little lamb is adorable. I bought one of their wine glasses with their logo on it too for just $10.

Absolutely fantastic food & atmosphere…read more A recent addition to the Kingsville dining experience, this place is top notch. This is authentic Mexican cuisine, not that Tex Mex crap. Run by the people that own Cancunsito in Leamington (which was my go to fave spot), they've finally expanded into our area. 5 of us made reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday night. Place was hopping when we got there...and there was a small line up at the door (which we bypassed as we had reservations...which I'd recommend). We were shown to a table at the back. 2 of us have dined at Cancunsito (and the menu is pretty much the same) but 3 people were newbies. I ordered the barria Tacos, another ordered the barrie quesadilla, another ordered the chicken milanese, another ordered the enchiladas and the final person ordered an assortment of Tacos. We also got a pitcher or Margaritas, a few beers, wine and pop. Food was out in a reasonable time frame considering how busy they were. Food quality on all items was excellent and portion size was substantial. All 5 of us agreed on returning and trying new things. Waitress was stellar and made recommendations to the newbies. DID NOT DISAPPOINT ONE IOTA. As an added bonus, a live band (2 person) started while we were there...a guitar player and vocalist. They added the perfect touch to a perfect meal.
