We went to Plymouth to check out a new restaurant in the area. We both love the charming town. We came across this new spot and decided to check it out. We very much enjoyed ourselves. This is the second location, the other being in Dexter. This spot is located in an old Pharmacy. This place opened very recently, only a couple weeks ago. They had a wonderful craft cocktail menu. They also have flights if you want them. We enjoyed chatting with the bartender and learning all about the concept and future plans. I absolutely recommend checking it out!

We live in Plymouth and we were super excited to hear that a new drinking establishment was coming to town. It is in the old Wiltse's Pharmacy Building. The woman owned business, CEO and owner Christi Lower paid homage to the site by keeping original brick and wood floors in place. This is a spirits bar using the blending technique to present their version of the best cocktails. We had the rye Manhattan, triple rye on ice and a strawberry basil lemonade. We enjoyed everything. This was a wonderful experience with great service and we look forward to many future visits. Stop in for a drink before dinner at a local restaurant or for a nightcap.

The Pineapple mojitos....its a quaint amazing little bar. Flare, quaint, yet feels like a good blend for Plymouth.

We stopped in for dinner on a Monday evening before attending the Yelp Event in Livonia…read more The staff are really great - I was welcomed and seated right away. It was slow on the restaurant side, likely because it was a Monday, but the bar side was full of what looked to be "regular" patrons. Our server was really nice and very patient with my fiend and I. I ended up getting the sliders with chips. When they arrived, I started eating the first one. The buns are soft and they were served hot. That first bite was great! As I ate more into the center (these are not small patties), I found it to be slightly medium-medium well. I didn't eat the very center and didn't worry about it. Once I bit into the second one, though, I found that it wasn't cooked nearly enough so I just ate the edges since I had already ate most of the first one. Despite having eaten most of it, the server and Manager made everything right. I'll be back to try some of their other menu items since they had quite a bit I wanted to try.

It took over 30 minutes to get our burgers. They weren't full, so I don't know what took so long. When I got my hamburger it was so undercooked, I would consider it rare. It had a fully red interior. I had trouble finding my waiter, as he did not return to check on our food. I finally flagged to him down, and told him the issue. He replied that it is just how they cook it. Now, mind you, my father's hamburger was cooked properly, and was pink only in the center. I was asked if I wanted something else. I did, but it had taken so long to get the food, that I didn't want to wait another 10-12 minutes. I sent the hamburger back, uneaten. The waiter took the burger off the bill, and acted like he was doing me a favor for doing so. Terrible food, terrible service!

This turned out to match just what we were looking for. We started with some fried pickles. These were yummy but not the best I've ever had. For our entrees, I got the Polish Platter and my husband got the GOATavern Nachos from the appetizer section. I'm a sucker for pierogis and these were pretty good. Everything else on the platter was solid. My husband's nachos were a really big portion, which we love to see, but we thought they were lacking in flavor. The locale is super neat, with a bunch of different areas to sit in, especially when the weather is nice. The staff was our favorite aspect of the restaurant, with everyone we interacted with being such a delight.

What has not changed is the comfy neighborhood bar feel and a nice place to have a great meal, some drinks and snacks. The front room was bright with lots of sun and the bar area is has stayed pretty much the same. Cosy bar vibes with regulars. Both areas, very inviting and appealing. I have always loved the fried mushrooms and they are fantastic here! The tavern burger remains a favorite along with crispy and tasty fries. The service, excellent! The food came out promptly and it was a great time with delicious food. For me, that is what 5 stars feel like. May not be gourmet, but it checked every box.

We arrived when it was not too crowded, but the restaurant very quickly filled up just after we arrived and unfortunately our posted server didn't notice us for quite a while so we had to flag someone to serve us and by that point the restaurant was getting pretty busy. Poor timing - oh well. We ordered the Prime Rib French Dip to split, as neither of us has a huge appetite but that was probably not a great decision. Usually, French dip sandwiches are huge, but this one was served on a hot dog bun, so not overly big. It was served with a healthy dose of horseradish cream sauce and was pretty tasty. I meant to substitute fries but in the chaos of it all forgot, so the sandwich came with chips which were unfortunately quite ordinary. My father ordered a beer flight and was quite pleased with his selections (6 x 3oz pours for $15). He most enjoyed the Sonorous Stout and he's a big fan of stouts and lagers in general. I think my father definitely enjoyed his experience and this was mostly for him, so that was good. I would definitely consider getting him a growler to go in the future since he really seemed to enjoy the beer very much.

Had the nachos and they were some of the saddest "nachos" I've ever had. Lukewarm, couple dribbles of that liquid cheese, some random toppings but absolutely no love at all. The type of plate you look at and immediately regret ordering. I get food and all overhead costs are rising, but I feel like so many places lately have this basic GFS slop with absolutely no soul or love. Would not recommend the food at all. Not trying to be a jerk and hope this place continues to do well, but in hopes of providing legit feedback it almost feels insulting looking at a menu knowing everything is overpriced, reheated freezer food. Would way prefer an extremely limited menu if it means they can up quality. This is literally my first yelp review ever, hopefully this reaches the right audience so they can make some changes.
