Back again, because the owner (Phil), retorted to my review - in which yes, I did put off writing for a speck of time. It had been on my mind for a long while, and I finally wrote what I feel. Phil stated that I 'wrote off' on the project that everything was OK. It is not OK. I just wanted them out of my house because every time they/his workers attempted to fix something, It wasn't how it was before. And his attitude was not kind. One of the situations was my husband and I stated some extra work that we paid for on the corner of our house wasn't done, and the owner/Phil, says oh yes it was! This is the first time I've written a review for something not done rather than something done (good or bad). There are a few boards in the eaves that have dry rot. I called Roof Roofs and Remodel for an estimate to replace the boards. Phil Koch came out, got onto the roof for a quick overall inspection and asked if the roof was about 15 years old. I told him it was at least 25. He said I probably have another 3-5 years service life on this roof. I told him that I plan on replacing it the next few years to help reduce my homeowners insurance (by going to a fire proof roofing material). Phil told me that given my plans, he would suggest not replacing the boards now as the boards will be replaced with a new roof. As long as there is no water leakage (there is not and the rot isn't advanced), forego that expense now. The smiles came when he told me if it was his house, he would wait. I think that kind of honest appraisal which results in no immediate business is extraordinarily hard to find and is much appreciated When time comes to replace the roof, Roof Roofs and Remodel will be the first consideration. read more

First of all, I want to really commend these folks on dedication to getting things right - the owner, Phil, really took the time to understand what we were experiencing, and was very empathetic and helpful. I will say I learned a few things as a homeowner working with a contractor. The biggest being the importance of being very clear at the outset about the OUTCOME you are looking for, and any issues you are worried about, even if they seem obvious and you think they go without saying. I am so pleased with my new roof. Valentine was an excellent crew chief. He was on time (actually early) every day, showed me the progress daily, kept me informed and was a pleasure to work with. I had a sun tunnel installed which required access to the inside of my house and not only did the crew take great care to keep the area clean (shoe covers, sealed it off with plastic, etc) they also were very flexible about when they could gain access to my home due to my busy work schedule. We weren't sure if we needed our roof repaired or completely replaced. Phil, the owner, came to our house not once but multiple times to take a look and provide his honest recommendation. We ended up replacing the entire roof, skylights, and gutters and his price was significantly lower than several competitors in the area. TLDR: Incredibly efficient, gorgeous roof, great value, and lovely customer service. Couldn't recommend them more! Long Version: When I called Phil to give me an estimate on my home's aging roof I had casually mentioned that a few shingles were missing on the second story. Knowing that rain was coming that weekend, he called up two of his guys to come swing by my house (that night) and they repaired them on the spot for just $100. It was not only an incredibly helpful service, but it was also a great relief to me as I was bracing for possible leaks during the rainy season. Phil gave me a quote and talked me through all the shingle options and the specific TPO that I needed on my roof. He answered all of my many questions and was always easy to talk to. Phil produced his quote for me in December, but I waited until March to have the work done and he kindly honored his quote even though it had been more than 3 months (and crazy inflation was taking off at that time). The job itself took 3.5 days + an additional half day of clean-up (that Phil provided to me at my request). Valentin, the project supervisor, was so incredible - he arrived early everyday but waited politely in his car until the agreed-upon start time, managing everyone efficiently, and honored my requests to work around tree branches (and not cut them away, which I know would have made their work easier). The crew was great. Even though I didn't meet most of them, the huge team (at least 10, possibly more) removed my existing roof and replaced it so quickly. It felt like watching a time lapse of a home renovation project on TV. They started the job on Wednesday and rain was forecasted for Saturday, so they stayed late on Friday night to tarp what little was left to do and then came back early Saturday morning to put on the final touches and finish the job. I really couldn't be more pleased with their skill and efficiency and their thoughtfulness. After the job was done and paid for, I noticed that there was a fair amount of debris that had fallen in my ceiling-less garage. I called up Phil and he sent out a very nice man who spent half a day with a shop vac cleaning up my garage for me. Now, over a year later, after a year of wild rains and flooding I am so, so, so pleased with our new roof. At the time I felt uneasy spending so much on one project, but I couldn't be happier that we did (although I will say that Phil's prices are totally fair and they are a great value for the work that you get). The roof is perfectly intact, no issues whatsoever, and the roof even survived a tree branch falling on it this winter with zero damage (really!). Also - it looks gorgeous! They also painted all my vents to match the color of the shingles I chose and it really made the house shine. I really couldn't be more pleased and I'm so grateful to Phil, Valentin, and his entire team. I would say that I will hire them again, but honestly I don't think I'll need to because the roof is excellent (and guaranteed for 50 years). My only notes to novice homeowners who have not undergone a roof replacement are: - If you have a ceiling-less space, like a garage, just double check that they tarp over everything in the garage. I know Valentin felt bad that he had forgotten to do that for us, so I'm sure it doesn't happen often. -Ask the crew to go over the lawn with their super magnet multiple times. Even though I did this, I was still finding nails and shingle bits in my yard months afterwards. I think a few more rounds of clean up would have been perfect. read more

Great company! Can't believe I never left a review until now. RR&R did my entire new roof about 3 years ago. Friendly, efficient, communicative, knowledgable and affordable. This past weekend, October 2021, we had a severe rain storm that lasted what felt like 36 hours. Everyone's water tightness was tested! I noticed 3 leaks and called RR&R the next day, Monday. They sent a guy by Wednesday morning. He found a flashing to be slightly bent and had a gap. Also he noticed my gutters were clogged and very probable that caused leak 2 & 3. I learned today that a clogged gutter could push the water back up the roof. He fixed the flashing, cleared my rain gutters, blew the leaves off my front porch and walkway. No cost, and told me that if the issue comes back to not hesitate to give them a call back. RR&R went above and beyond with very responsive service. read more
