The service here is reason enough to patronize this establishment. We got to Baker City at 7 on a Sunday night. The whole town was closed. We found this restaurant and gave it a try. Our server Roberto was really great. He was quick friendly and made sure our experience was good. The food came out quickly and hot and was very good. This was a great little find in eastern Oregon

Almost drive by this location. There is street work in front right now. Very welcoming. Salsa is hot and delicious. Authentic! Check out the shrimp dish, no tails and FABULOUS tasting. Service is spot on and friendly too. Probably could use a fresh coat of paint, clean the carpets and small things but the food and people, atmosphere is all really great!

The service was fast and cheerful. We always try to stop here on our way through Baker. The food is worth getting off the freeway to find.

The inside was just as delightful. The mosaic tile work was a feast for the eyes. The staff were welcoming & helpful. The service was quick & attentive. We have never been treated to such a variety of complimentary sauces& dips that came with chips. My husband loved the queso & bean dip. The salsa was flavorful & the cabbage slaw was a new and tasty treat! Our food was delicious & was quick to the table. It was the highlight of our weekend journey! We will be back when our travels lead us in that direction. Thank you!!

Pretty sure the smoke alarm went off back in the kitchen cause wow my taquitos looked like they cooked on the side walk outside. No reason to be rude service was good but food just was not top notch, my party also had the enchiladas and said their enchilada sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce. Didn't believe them but they ended up being right. Might want to rethink a dinner spot or hope you get lucky with your food, disappointed...

And you get to watch the short order line cranking out all the classics you've come to expect for Americana breakfast. Coffee is hot and your cup won't get down below half way, so don't worry about refills. Very family oriented place with a good mix of locals and travelers. Plenty of parking on street in front, lot to side, and even the motel of same name right behind it. I did one of their menu omelets and added some bacon. "No problem honey, you want the bacon in the omelet or on the side?". Just to throw a curve, ordered a cup of oatmeal. All came out piping hot on the same big platter plate. Oatmeal was perfect, just a bit chewy . Omelet was perfectly done and the rye toast was excellent!!! Very satisfying breakfast and classic, great American diner service. You can't go wrong

It sounded like something a tourist should do when you're staying in a little town like Baker. The diner is part of the motel next door which is also called the Oregon Trail. Both venues are kinda dated. I'm sure in it's prime it was fabulous! But eating at this venue was pretty cool. It was like stepping into an old school time capsule. We sat ourselves at a booth on the very left of the diner. It was probably one of the only booths where the seating wasn't all messed up. We were instantly greeted and given menus. I did creep on their online menu this morning but it was good to see what I might miss. I got the country breakfast. It had two eggs, 5 slices of bacon and I opted for fresh fruit instead of the hashbrowns. The eggs were cooked perfectly, nice and yolky in the middle. The fruit was super fresh! It was still on the unripe side but still sweet. The bacon was ok. It was slightly overcooked in the middle and chewy on the ends. It was quite the experience eating here. The servers are really nice and really good at making sure your coffee cup is always full! By the time we left, there was a good crowd of people coming in. It was cool to experience Baker's local diner. It was neat dining here with all the locals.
