Steak Burrito Suizo (without sour cream)
    Kevin R.

Absolutely delicious!!! I have become a regular when I am in the burbs of Chicago as their burritos are ADDICTING! I get the steak burrito and add "suizo" (enchilada sauce and cheese on top) and while the burrito is really good sized, I get one to take home too! Staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. Muy muy bueno!!!

Stopped by here with my friend for lunch and the food didn't disappoint! I got an enchilada combo and got fries instead of rice and beans. I tried both the red and green enchilada and the green (verde) sauce was my favorite. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant has a good amount of seating if you're going with a small group! I'd be back and can't wait to try other items off the menu.

3 years later and I still feel the same! El Famous Burrito is one of my favorite Mexican taco places ever. They by far have the best al pastor in the area in my opinion. When I come here, my go-to order is 2 al pastor tacos and 1 carne asada tacos with onion, cilantro, and lettuce. I sometimes get their market guacamole on the side which comes with chips, sooo yummy! Their salsa verde and rojo are to die for, as well. Friendly service, plenty of parking space, and hard working cooks who make bomb tacos and burritos. It's a cute, authentic Mexican food joint known for tacos and burritos. I highly recommend if you're looking for a cheap, yummy Mexican meal!

Great food and never disappointed must try this place if you haven't the service is fast and my go to spot

I am a sucker for their nachos. Instead of a pile of chips with stuff glopped over it. Evenly distributed beans and cheese on a tostada. My OCD loves the orderliness of it. Their pickled jalapeños are my favorite. I could eat a jar of them!

On this particular Saturday, it took a while to get service, but we enjoyed our drinks - I loved my spicy roasted pineapple margarita - and complementary delicious chips and salsa. I also got the azteca salad with salmon as my entree - the salad portion was big, but the salmon was small and overcooked a bit. So, I stopped in during the week, just after lunch time and found this little hole-in-the wall of a restaurant conveniently nestled in a shopping center next to the local Walmart. Even though I walked in and the restaurant was completely empty, the pure vibrancy of the decor and the cheerfulness of the staff encouraged me to stay. Not to mention that the aroma making its way out from the kitchen was absolutely mouth-watering. I took a seat at the bar while I perused the menu and was delighted in the simplicity of it. You know the food is about to be fire when the menu is simple and a restaurant focuses on what it does well. In addition to the excellent service, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I started off with some chips and salsa.... which was delightfully flavorful and perfectly crisp. Then, I had a bowl of the tortilla soup. Each spoonful was like deja vu. Each bite made me feel like I was in my grandmother's kitchen as a little girl all over again. The broth was perfectly seasoned and each bite came with a chunk of chicken and an assortment of veggies... truly perfecto! Once I was done with the appetizers, I made my decision to try two tacos from the menu. The first was a salmon taco--and it didn't TASTE FISHY. It was grilled to perfection and then paired with an unexpected yet delicious topping of crispy potato strings and chipotle aioli. I ate every bite of this. It was the perfect combination of crunch and flavor, I just couldn't get enough. Then I also ordered the carne asada a cabron taco. Simple, yet dynamically flavorful. I was so full at this point but took this one home to eat at a later time. Still as amazing as the day I ordered it i'm sure. While I neglected to have any desserts or margaritas here, I was assured that they are just as remarkable as anything else. I had a wonderful meal, excellent service and I greatly look forward to going back if i'm ever in the area again for work. 10/10 Highly recommend!!

We decided to sit outside on the patio, which honestly wasn't much different from other restaurant patios. Our server, Trayana, was exceptionally kind, cheerful, and truly wonderful -- nothing but compliments for her service. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food and drinks. The cocktail Paloma was marked on the menu as "the most popular," which is why I ordered it, but I simply didn't enjoy it. The same goes for the food. I ordered the Salsa Verde enchiladas, and I can't really say they were good either. They tasted somewhat sour to me. One great touch, though, was the complimentary chips with three different dips served as an appetizer. While we're not huge fans of that kind of snack, many people are, so it's definitely a nice addition while waiting for the main course.
