Chimichanga trio, no cheese very dry
    Tammy K.

The mixed drinks are not good pina colada taste like water , mai tai isnt made properly, Bacardi premade are better than what is made here. The food bland and dry no cheese on or sauce on chimichanga , guacamole tastes oily, chicken taco has no flavor, never thought i would ever taste a flavorless tamale, it's like they are afraid of or don't know how to season, anyone that likes this has a boring palate, only thing likable was the beans and rice and i dont even like mexican rice, first and last time

Food is decent, service is ok but my biggest complaint is the up charge for using a credit card. Unfortunately, the service staff is getting the brunt of the ridiculous rule. Customers automatically decrease the tip by the amount of the up charge. Restaurants are making enough profit to absorb the credit card fee.

Great service and yummy food. The portions are generous and the mole is delicious. Also there's two for one Margaritas!

I also got the azteca salad with salmon as my entree - the salad portion was big, but the salmon was small and overcooked a bit. We decided to sit outside on the patio, which honestly wasn't much different from other restaurant patios. Our server, Trayana, was exceptionally kind, cheerful, and truly wonderful -- nothing but compliments for her service. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food and drinks. The cocktail Paloma was marked on the menu as "the most popular," which is why I ordered it, but I simply didn't enjoy it. The same goes for the food. I ordered the Salsa Verde enchiladas, and I can't really say they were good either. They tasted somewhat sour to me. One great touch, though, was the complimentary chips with three different dips served as an appetizer. While we're not huge fans of that kind of snack, many people are, so it's definitely a nice addition while waiting for the main course.

There are several TV's mounted on the wall throughout the restaurant. Two are showing menu items, one is showing a soccer game, one is showing golf. and the last one is just some random tv program. The sound is off and they are playing Spanish music. There are lots of great menu items. I had a hard time picking out something to eat. I have never had a torta and decided to order the Chile Relleno Torta. It was spectacular! The bread was crispy and warm on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. It was seasoned perfectly and I could taste all the individual ingredients. I would definitely order again and recommend you try it as well. Definitely better then I expected. My husband ordered the Carne Asda burrito Suizo which he orders everywhere. Wow it is huge and the meat was tender and definitely one of the top 5 that he has ever eaten! There was a noticeable styrofoam/plastic smell, and the flavor came off artificial--almost chemical-like. It barely resembled real food... more like PlayDoh. The only reason I'm giving 1 star instead of zero is because the salsa (verde and roja) was actually good. So, I stopped in during the week, just after lunch time and found this little hole-in-the wall of a restaurant conveniently nestled in a shopping center next to the local Walmart. Even though I walked in and the restaurant was completely empty, the pure vibrancy of the decor and the cheerfulness of the staff encouraged me to stay. Not to mention that the aroma making its way out from the kitchen was absolutely mouth-watering. I took a seat at the bar while I perused the menu and was delighted in the simplicity of it. You know the food is about to be fire when the menu is simple and a restaurant focuses on what it does well. In addition to the excellent service, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I started off with some chips and salsa.... which was delightfully flavorful and perfectly crisp. Then, I had a bowl of the tortilla soup. Each spoonful was like deja vu. Each bite made me feel like I was in my grandmother's kitchen as a little girl all over again. The broth was perfectly seasoned and each bite came with a chunk of chicken and an assortment of veggies... truly perfecto! Once I was done with the appetizers, I made my decision to try two tacos from the menu. The first was a salmon taco--and it didn't TASTE FISHY. It was grilled to perfection and then paired with an unexpected yet delicious topping of crispy potato strings and chipotle aioli. I ate every bite of this. It was the perfect combination of crunch and flavor, I just couldn't get enough. Then I also ordered the carne asada a cabron taco. Simple, yet dynamically flavorful. I was so full at this point but took this one home to eat at a later time. Still as amazing as the day I ordered it i'm sure. While I neglected to have any desserts or margaritas here, I was assured that they are just as remarkable as anything else. I had a wonderful meal, excellent service and I greatly look forward to going back if i'm ever in the area again for work. 10/10 Highly recommend!!

I ordered the flautas. They were exactly what you want flautas to be: present, edible, and not causing any problems. The vegetarian tacos with avocado, however, were the sleeper hit of the evening and probably deserved more attention than they got. But let's talk about Abby. Abby was funny, fast, attentive, and somehow managed to appear at our table exactly when we needed something. More importantly, she made margaritas that tasted like they had been blessed by a tequila wizard. I'm convinced she put extra love in mine. Either that or she saw I was from out of town and decided I needed professional assistance. At one point I started wondering whether Abby actually works for Lady Dahlia or if she just travels the country improving restaurant experiences one table at a time. The food was solid. The atmosphere was great. Abby was a five-star experience trapped inside a four-star review. If every restaurant had an Abby, Yelp would go out of business because nobody would have anything to complain about.
