Man Oh Man!! This is the place to come to for the Southern Meal of YOUR LIFE!! okay maybe not of…read moreyour life but definitely in Kirbyville. (Disclaimer we've only come to this southern style restaurant) BUT... let me tell you it was Delicious with a capital D! My love had the fried catfish and shrimp - catfish, corn and green beans. The catfish was melt in your mouth good. Fried to perfection and the batter was som-nice, lem'me telllya! She let me steal a piece is why I'm telling you! Shrimp was good as well but not as good as the catfish. Fries to be honest were meh, hence the 4 stars and corn according to my wife was not the side to order unless you like corn that don't taste good. Then it's the one you e been waiting for. Green beans were to her liking - flavorful and at least mentally a healthy choice. I mean you don't get much at a Southern-cooked joint that's healthy... am I right ‍ or am I right . I got the meatloaf, mashed-tators, and sweet baby corn. Maaaaaan the meatloaf was a junking piece of meatloaf with some good seasoning and know that it comes SMOTHERED in their tomato sauce which had a hearty cut of vegetables and good flavor. I like ketchup and Tabasco on just about everything but if you like it that way it will fill your belly and put a smile on your face. OH BUT WERE NOT DONE! The baby corn was sweet, delicious and perfectly cooked to soft but not to mushy perfection. The mashed-tators was REAL MASHED-TATORS. Skin in them with potatoe chunks just like they were made at home and the gravy was on point! COME AND EAT HERE!!! I guarantee you will come back to try something else... we are

The service is also great, never had an issue any time I've visited and the place is clean all the time whenever I stop by, so I'd say it passes in all those regards. However, the issue is mainly with the prices. I'm not ordering some huge heavy meal, but when I go in and order my sandwich if I'm not having a heart attack from the meatball marinara I get later that day, it might be at the register when they're telling me my order. I understand how each Subway owner is different and will handle how each establishment works differently, but come on. I get coupons or deals I want to redeem at the restaurant and like half of them I can't use! Then I feel like I'm an idiot for walking in there and presenting the coupon only to be told they can't take it. Besides, I just got my sandwich made and I feel like instead of wanting to come again, it makes me wary about ever setting foot in there because the prices at Subway aren't exactly going down, so what's in it for me to come back after experiencing that multiple times? Nothing. With that being said, if you don't mind the prices or the fact that you might not be able to use any coupons or discounts then everything is fine. Just don't expect some gourmet artisan sandwich.

It was DE-LISH-OUS!! Our meal began with the Greek-Style Loaded Hummus -- an appetizer that's as beautiful to look at as it is to taste. The house-made hummus was smooth, creamy, and seasoned perfectly with traditional Greek spices. Nestled in the middle were fresh grape tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cucumbers, red onions, and crumbled feta. A must-try dish that's bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavor! For my entrée, I ordered the Roasted Branzino Fish (Sea Bass) -- a mild, white fish with delicate, flaky flesh and a clean, fresh taste. I had mine grilled, and it was absolutely incredible! It was beautifully paired with asparagus, red peppers, broccoli, and zucchini, along with a crisp, classic Greek salad . Every bite was as delicious as the one before. If you're craving a meal that's fresh, healthy, and budget-friendly -- all while packed with flavor -- run, don't walk, to Elsa's Greek Grill! They also have a fantastic selection of Greek sandwiches, pizzas, and so much more. Tell them Best Bites sent you!

We were promptly escorted to a table by the wall and given menus. She told us our waiter would be right with us, and he was! He took out drink orders to start, I ordered Sweet Tea and my wife a Coke Zero. While he was getting our drinks a young lady came and brought chips and Salsa to our table. He came back with our drinks and asked about appetizers. My wife said she was good on the appetizers, so we ordered our meals. My wife ordered the Queso Flameado with flour tortillas and I ordered the El Taco dinner with three crispy tacos with ground beef and rice and beans. I went ahead and had him at Queso dip to our order. It was very quiet from not being crowded which was kinda of nice! It's kind of plain on the inside and has a nice ambience to it. Our server was really taking care of his job always checking back not only with us, but other tables as well! He brought our food back out in short order. The wife's Queso Flameado looked really delicious! My Taco dinner came out with the three tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese, and also small containers of sour cream and guacamole to add to my tacos!! All of our food was really good and we enjoyed our lunch! The only down thing is they are only open a few days in the middle of the week and closed on weekends. They would probably do a good business on weekends, but I think the owners might prefer to have their weekend's off for family time. I do recommend them if you're in the area, their food is really good, and everyone here is very outgoing and friendly!
