Tables were clean and there was plenty of seating. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and bacon breakfast burrito. Comes with eggs, potatoes fries, and melted cheese inside. It was really good and a good size for $10.45 each. It's definitely shareable. The offer a complimentary chip station and salsa bar. Salsas were good! i see a lot of good reviews for El Forastero, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. I was the only one in the restaurant when I placed my order. After placing my order, I walked to my vehicle to get my phone, which took less than 2 minutes. When I entered the restaurant again, my order was ready. What! I suspect that my burrito was already made and heated in a microwave oven. The burrito was light on the bacon and cheese, but taste-wise, it was absolutely a 4. In a pinch, I will definitely stop by and order other menu items. The food was absolutely the best I've had in a long time. Noteworthy mention is the Carne asada fries. The portion was large and amazing for the price. The fries tasted fresh and crunchy. The asada was flavorful and over great. The service was beyond excellent, I'd like to mention Yanette (apologies if I spelled it wrong). Came in after work tomorrow to see what this place was about. Nice that it's open 24hrs bless their hearts. Nice lady at the counter good service food came out pretty quick. Nice little spot inside plenty of seating. It's cool too that they have a salsa bar and you can have some chips and salsa while you wait. Did notice that you have to have an order over $5 to enjoy free chips. But that's no problem. I got the marinated pork burrito decent size too. Came with rice and beans,guacamole, and sour cream. Also thought I would try their breakfast burritos so I got one for me and the wife to try. But I'm sure since my burrito is good can't imagine my breakfast one being bad. Talk about a loaded hotdog! It was covered in chips, bacon, jalepeno, mayo, mustard, onions... I mean everything! It was super tasty and filling! On the way to the tipsy bar I drove by El Forastero, and after thinking of an easy food spot this place came to mind for a quick grab of food to bring back to the bar for another round. I ordered the Carnitas torta which is typically one of my go tos for a dish. The drive through had colorful pictures, great prices, and even yummy sounding desserts. The torta was the size of my forearm, and the combination of meat with all the toppings was one of the best tortas I have eaten in a long time. It's so much food that it could easily go for 2-3 meals. The price was about $10 so definitely reasonable. I would love to come back to try other food items in the future. read more

Love this place for their burritos and salsa. Open 24/7 with free chips on the side. I've tried their adobada, asada, lengua, and asada breakfast burritos with none of them to disappoint me. Half order of asada fries was great for a late night bite for ~$8 too. Might take a while in the drivethru but the workers are nice and accommodating while the chefs whip up the food made to order. Y'all sleeping on this place because I'm telling you right now this place is so super good. They have fresh squeeze juice. The one I get that's good for the liver is beet, celery, orange and it's called the vampire juice. It's such a great deal. If I were to go to any other juice place in town this size for a large would be probably around $13. At this place it's like around $9 with tax. My favorite tacos are the ones with adobada (pork). The Carne Asada is a little bit on the grizzly side. So I tend to stay away from that kind. The chorizo is really good. I'm super picky about my Mexican food and one thing that always defines a place for me is their salsa bar. These guys have pico de gallo, Salsa Verde, roja, crema and guacasalsa. They put a lot of meat on their tacos. I also have to add that the staff is always very friendly here. So be sure to maybe give them a little tip because I'll tell you what this place is very clean and they treat people really good here. read more

I went to this restaurant after I got off work. I checked out their website beforehand to decide what menu item I wanted, and the Carne Asada Fries sounded very appetizing. The lady that took my order was friendly and the food was delivered promptly. I got mine to go, and when I got home and tried it the Carne Asada Fries were delicious. Not only that, but they also give you a large amount, so much that I saved some and took it to work the next day and had the rest for breakfast. They are also open 24 hours which is a very smart business move since this sets them apart from other restaurants in the area that close in the evenings and early mornings. read more

Absolutely horrible, I ordered chicken salad and I got ground beef taco salad. IM ALLERGIC TO BEANS, I told them this. I also ordered a Chicken rolled taco o n got beef no guacamole. Food was cold when I got it. We literally live five minutes away. I had to warm it up in the microwave for at least two minutes and 30 seconds. Beans were cold. Rice was cold. Meat was cold. I'm talking about it was cold like pulling some fresh pico out the refrigerator and dipping your chips in Straight trash never go there late night if you're hungry 24 hours my ass the least they could've done was put my food in the microwave at the restaurant and warmed it up to pretend like a freshly made it even though we know it's not freshly made at least make it hot. This restaurant is located in the old Jimboy's on Sullivan in Sparks. Jimboy's was the original in our area and the building was old and tired. The building has been painted bright and happy colors and the worn out driveway replaced. As someone who uses the drive up this is a big deal. I ordered a special with 3 rolled chicken tacos with rice and beans that included a drink. There was a little bag of tortilla chips and 2 kinds of salsa in the bag, green and red. The food was very good. Tacos were crispy and the beans were great! Good beans are always my test for Mexican food.
