It was delicious! Never thought guava juice would go well with champagne. When the food came out, the portions were definitely generous. My carne asada was really big, that it was cut into 3 portions-sized pieces. It was seasoned nicely without being too salty. The rice was a little bland, could have used a little bit more seasoning. It came garnished with sour cream, queso fresco, very thinly sliced onions so it wasn't too overpowering and topped with cilantro to bring it all together. It also came with a side of refried beans with queso fresco and perfectly seasoned.

Sadly, the quality of the food didn't meet our expectations and the margarita I ordered, while full of alcohol, tasted syrupy and not handmade. Our server, Betty, was absolutely wonderful with her smile and attentiveness, hence, the four stars. Afterwards, I checked to see if the original Palo Alto restaurant and this one were related and they were not. It was an average lunch but we will spend our time exploring new restaurants in the future.
