    Media Noche Sandwich
    Raul J.

There's nowhere to sit and service is kinda slow, but food was pretty good. I ordered a Media Noche and Churros. Everything comes out hot because it's made to order. Loved the sandwich but I thought the churros were just alright. I wish the churros were a bit thicker and had more sugar. Service was nothing special.

My only regret is not finding this place sooner and wasting my money else where! Seriously, best cuban sandwich in Miami. The Pan con Bistec will be my next option though because that looked Customer service is top notch as well, the ladies working were awesome both times; one even recognized me (idk if that's good or bad ) I met the owner Felix who made appy to be spending my money there! (Support a small businesss!!) They're are also very clean, both times I went I saw them deep cleaning on their free time which is a huge deal, especially in Miami. Please go and write an awesome review to help these guys out!! I promise anyone else with this quality will cost way more. The place is a little shop so you get the full Miami experience!

Definitely a great place for a natural smoothie & sandwiches!!! Definitely my go-to-place whenever I am in Miami!!! Thanks so much Snack Hunter! !!

This place is hard to find with all the new construction in the location. We walked from our hotel after seeing the reviews of this place. The food is great, friendly service and worth the price. We ordered the chicken noodle soup, steak sandwich and cuban sandwich. There top 3 rated dishes and they did not disappoint. Felipe provides excellent customer service and is very helpful.

Very interesting way of cutting a sandwhich in half, they cut it more like 80/20%...not easy to eat at all

DIRT AND MUD IN THE SALAD!!! WATCH OUT…read more We ordered the salad with mango and pecans. They do not wash there lettuce. There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

We started with the goat cheese croquettes, which were delicious! The marmalade went well, and the pickles onions and jalapeños cut the richness and were a nice complement. Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. Nice vibe, good energy, and perfect for walking around before or after eating... which you will probably need to do after finishing that burger. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. Overall the place has a fun atmosphere, great Cuban comfort food, and the kind of menu that makes you want to come back just to try the things you didn't order the first time. Highly recommend... just be prepared to leave full and slightly considering a nap. 10/10 would happily destroy another Cuban sandwich there again.

We stopped here at this one on Espanola Way for dinner on a Sunday, primarily because we had somewhere else in this area to be afterward, and while most every place on this touristy street was packed with a wait list, this restaurant could seat us right away. Service was good all evening from an outgoing waiter, this place was great for people watching (we were seated at a high top on the sidewalk in front), the food was good and the prices were reasonable, especially considering that Espanola Way is one of the most touristy areas on already touristy Miami Beach. I had the signature roasted chicken ($28) and my husband the Cuban churrasco steak ($42) and both included sides. We also had a glass of wine each and again, wine prices were reasonable. While we don't tend to eat in this general area often as it is so touristy which usually equals lackluster food and service at high prices, Havana 1957 was just fine. I'd happily return here.
