Me and My boyfriends favorite late night taco spot... burritos are to die for

I went in excited to get tacos for the first time from them but instead I was very disappointed me and my sister was standing in line and a group of Caucasian teenagers jumped in front of me while it was still 3 people ahead of us when we got to the register the cashier told my sister to hold on and took the teenagers before us he gave no explanation and didn't even say sorry for that. My sister asked him after receiving our food where did the line start because we were confused as to why they were taken before us and he told us that he likes to take dine in customers first but he still never apologized and after my sister says she was just asking because she was confused he said you're welcome in a smart alec way. We should have been shown more respect than that, we paid for our food just like them. read more

We have a lot of different varieties of Mexican restaurants near our neighborhood and this seems to be the best as far as the quality of food for the price. It's real delicious Mexican food and you're not over paying for it. read more

Great mexican place, the sopes have great texture and the tacos are delicious. Chicken is a little bland, but the flavor of the steak tacos more than make up for it. This is in a tiny strip mall on 111th street and it is a fantastic place for several reasons. There are a lot of inexpensive Mexican places scattered around but none - none! have the flavors this place does nor the service. This place can be packed but you still get your food fast with a pleasant hello and a smile. Here are some reasons this place is a five star place. 1 - Pork Tacos - unequalled. Perfectly cooked and flavored and authentic. 2 - Bistek a la Mexicana - Yummy and spicy and the meat is lean and tender. 3 - Pico De Gallo - Spicy hot and addictive as it gets 4 - Chips - warm and crispy - just right. 5 - Menudo (weekends only) fantastic warm spicy satisfaction 6 - Guacamole - Fresh made tasty There are a lot of reasons to love this place but it all comes down to how you feel when you leave. We lived off this stuff in college. The greasiest spoons in town but the burritos are great. I recommend the steak burrito and the nachos covered in cheese and, of course, steak. Open 24 hours, but I would avoid Friday and Saturday nights if possible...lots of freaks! read more

I had a steak torta and it was good. First time I have had a torta. I think in finding a great torta would be in bread selection. For those who have never had the courage to order one it's in my eye a Mexican burger. I think the bun could have been better but would like to try a few other places to get a grasp of the torta bun. I have been coming here for a few years now and have tried many different things on the menu. They have the best pastor tacos in town, I honestly have yet to find somewhere that has them beat. Great place to eat after a night of drinking. It's definitely open at 2am. They are in the business of delicious drunk food. They have rice water which is always a plus. They have lengua which is my fave. Pretty cheap and a good place to go for your Mexican food craving if you don't feel like going too far to get it. Was there Saturday. With my family. It was crowded as it wasn't too bad we had a seat which was good. The order we placed food was not up to par and they could not make soup for me which I ordered was my menudo The soup is just broth no meat I brought it to the waiters attention and it was a terrible excuse and I only took four dollars off instead of taking the soup. El Gallo is great for late night tacos. I really dig their steak and the pastor is A+. Burritos are pretty large sized and filling. Sometimes I get a combo burrito wwith borth steak and pastor, it's amazing. They also serve up your food pretty darn fast. On a good day you can get your tacos or burrito in about 2 minutes. I tried a banana liquado there and would not recommend going that route. They have homemade tamales that are pretty tasty. Service is usually good. Don't forget to use the pico de gallo. read more

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants (the other one is off of LaGrange and 131st). Everything here is fantastic and comes out super quick. The staff are always helpful and polite. The only place my husband and I go to for tacos. He gets the steak tacos and I get the chicken tacos and its always good. Servers are friendly and they have multiple T.V.s on with the different sports channels for the sports fans. read more

The BEST Mexican fast food in the area (even better than any i've had in the city). Always hot & fresh. The steak, chicken & pork are all excellent. They are also very cheap. Good is just "ok". When there is so much competition aims, you would think they would try to give you nice service. Last few times I was in there, the most unpleasant Mexican woman "serviced"me. I was picking up take out, she didn't even acknowledge me. I had to get HER, when I told her I'm picking up, she rolled her tires at ne! And after giving me what I later found out, a messed up order, she went back to what she was doing...no good bye, nothing. I've never felt more out of place or more offended by anyone...seriously, the most unpleasant woman ever, and my orders are never right....never going here again. :-( read more

Went here Saturday night after leaving the comedy show a few doors down. Service was fast. The food was really good. I had a steak taco, steak tostada, steak quesadilla and chille rellno taco.
