I stopped in for dinner in the middle of the week. I was greeted by asking if I had a reservation. The dining room wasn't close to full so it caught me off guard. They seated me at a table next to the fireplace/wine wall/by the restrooms. I thought it was a cool spot to be until one of the waitresses stepped over my purse to half climb the wall looking for something specific that she couldn't locate. Not exactly the most comfortable experience. The food was great though. Ordered the lomo saltado and they let me swap one of the starchy sides for a salad. The beef was tender, flavor was on point, and the portion was fair for the price. By the time I left there were two birthday parties and someone coming to celebrate graduation. Perfect location for a date night - nice rancho ambiance, tv's showing the World Cup game and fast service. Also the food is great, the Trio Ceviche was fresh and the Lomo a lo macho was perfect, the rare steak was so tender that it melts in your mouth. The pisco sours are also delicious and very strong. Only critiques are that the fried yucca were kind of cold and soggy, it did not seem like they were recently fried. Also it's a bit pricey for what you get. read more

Strolling in the Fort Myers area to visit our son at Uni and were craving for Peruvian food. We found this gem from yelp and decided to try it out. Everything we ordered was delicious. If you're in the Fort Myers area, you should check this place out there are plenty of seating. The place was in a plaza but when you walk in there is that steakhouse vibe. staff was welcoming, it was busy lunch time but service was quick. The price were in the higher end but the portions were huge. There were a few take home boxes in the end. here's what we ordered: first we started off with Some calamari Trio ceviche dish. We decided to order Tostones to pair with the ceviche. Special of the day was a ceviche dish with seafood fried rice. Beautifully decorated restaurant, very clean. Service was perfect, let Luis take good care of you. We tried one of the ceviches that was quite flavorful and plenty to share. We ordered the meat lovers patellar, and although they said it feeds 4, we knew we would have left overs to share the next night. There was plenty more for tomorrow. Blended seasons for the varied meats were impressive. Can't wait to go back to try their other dishes. Too many choices to go only once. Came in on a Tuesday evening around 8:30 p.m. and the place was packed. We didn't have a reservation, but we were accommodated fairly quickly, which was appreciated given how busy it was. Service was good overall. Our waitress was kind and serviceable--nothing over-the-top, but attentive enough. The first appetizer out was the salad. We requested no onions, and it came out exactly as requested. There wasn't any salt on the table, just oil and vinegar, which I was actually okay with since it helped me keep my salt intake down. For our main dishes, we ordered the chaufa with gluten-free soy sauce, again requesting no onions. Everything came out correctly. The only issue was that it was a bit cold, as if it had been sitting out longer than it should have. We mentioned it, they took it back, reheated it, and it was fine afterward--no real issue there. I ordered the beef short rib, medium well. Unfortunately, it came out closer to medium rare in my opinion. a bit disappointing, but ok. Overall, the food was okay, service was good, and the ambiance was nice. Since the place was packed, it's clear that a lot of people enjoy it. Was this the best food I've ever had? No. But was it bad? Not at all. It is a little on the pricey side, but that's to be expected for this type of restaurant. I'd consider it a solid place and would definitely give it another try to order something different next time. Went for dinner on a girls trip this week and we made it right before happy hour ended, which was a welcomed surprise. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks, and tapas, before ordering our food to go. Leticia our bartender was fantastic! She was so warm and inviting and knew which drinks and tapas we would like, and she was right. We had walked in to just order takeout and her friendly demeanor had us staying for happy hour. This restaurant is really nice and big and had some great decor. The drinks were delicious and made really well, and the tapas did not disappoint in any way. Definitely a great find, and one of the best spots we ate at while on a trip. If we're ever in the area again, we will stop by! read more

I cannot review the food because we did not stay and eat. I can only comment on my experience just trying to get a table. Apparently, if you don't have a reservation, don't bother. Came in and the hostess was very disorganized. Waited in line for 10 minutes just to get to the hostess stand. Restaurant was maybe half full and mostly older people (60-70 year olds). Once we finally got to the hostess station, my family was offered space at the bar. I have a teenager so the bar is not an option. Could not get a straight answer on a wait time so we ended up just leaving. Found a nice Thai restaurant that was super busy but got us seated in no time and we had a great meal. read more

We came all the way from Miami and honestly did not expect to find Peruvian food this incredible in Naples. El Gaucho Inca completely exceeded our expectations! Every dish was full of authentic flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented, truly some of the best Peruvian food we've had. It was so good that we ended up coming two nights in a row, that alone says everything. The quality, the flavors, and the overall experience were outstanding. During our trip to Florida we stopped and tried El Gaucho Inca for dinner. My wife and I got the Parrilladas family platter to share. The platter came with 4 different types of steak, pork chops, chicken, sausage, and two sides. The steaks were cooked more towards medium and were very good. The pork and chicken had been marinaded in a flavorful sauce which was very tasty. The entire platter was enough to feed at least 4 people, so we had plenty of leftovers. The service was great and the interior was modern and had a latin flare. Would definitely recommend! read more

This establishment had a location in Naples. I was very disappointed when they closed. I knew they opened in Estero, but it seemed like it was never the right time to try the place. On 5/20/2023 became the right time. It's not easy when your order was wrong to give a place 5 stars. But I pointed at what I wanted as I could not pronounce it. So, who is to blame? What is interesting is the menu is much smaller than the Naples menu. But, the choices are plenty. The menu is in sections 1.Ceviche 2. Appetizers 3.Peruvian 4. Chef's Choice 5. Argentinian Grill I chose the "Fettuccini Verde con Entrana steak with pesto sauce" Which was flap steak with a pesto sauce on the fettucine noodles. I received Fettuccini a La Huancaina Steak Anticuchero. I honestly did not know I didn't get what I ordered until I received the bill. There was a price difference, and my mind said the bill should be one price then another showed up. So, I reviewed the bill and saw I didn't get what I ordered. I even put the word Verde in my picture. I didn't see any green but thought oh well. So anyway, it was world class dish. Two beautifully grilled flap steaks with a cream sauce that was out of this world for noodles. Mrs. K ordered "Tallarin Saltado. Simple beef with noodles in a brown sauce with onions and peppers. Very good. There is many numerous choices here with some dishes over $100. If you get to see one of these dishes and all the food that was on the serving it is kind of a deal since it will serve 2 to 4 people. So many dishes so little time. We came for dinner around 6pm on Saturday and it was packed! There were decorations of gauchos from Argentina and Peru all over the restaurant. Luckily we got a seat at the bar and were able to order right away. We started with a Pisco sour and a caipirinha. We were served some bread while we were waiting which was a nice starter. We ordered the Saltado with seafood and the tallarín verde with steak. The dishes came out pretty quickly despite the crowd. There was more than enough food and we could have shared a plate. My friends suggested to meet here for lunch over the weekend. That's how I found out about this location in Estero. I had been to El Gaucho Inca in Fort Myers a few times and really like their food. But they seemed to be busy and the service was not on par. On this visit, I had Picante de Mariscos and Trio Ceviches. It was a lot of food for me and my fiancé to share. Wow! What an amazing experience. First our waiter was awesome. Menu is huge. He gave us great advice and was patient to let us figure out what we wanted. Started with the Ceviche de Mariscos. Excellent, best I've ever had. Next we got two entrees: Pescado a lo Macho which is a Peruvian fish with seafood sauce. Truly an amazing dish. We also got the Fettuccine Verde con Entrana which is Fettuccine with pesto sauce and skirt steak. Fabulous. Waiter recommended a wine from Argentine called Balbo which is a Sauvignon Blanc. The food was very good and tasteful. The only thing that went wrong was that our steak was cold, but overall, it was good. I got the talleron verde with chicken (huge portions btw) and another person with us got the gnocchi with chicken. We both loved our food and agreed it was some of the best food we've had in a long time. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I am a huge foodie and only found a couple places here I think is well worth going out to eat for. I tend to salt and pepper everything because every restaurant lacks flavor. Let me tell you, this food was just outstanding. Such a big portions so order accordingly, but wow. So much color and so much flavor. I think this is my favorite meal I've had since moving to swfl 2 years ago. When we arrived in (party of 5) I didn't realize we should have made a reservation. But we sat at the bar and got a drink and luckily got a table after 40 mins. Boy am I happy we stayed. the place was jammed packed which meant you knew the food was going to be great! We came here last night with a big group for a parents night out. I've heard so many wonderful things about this place that I had to try it. The menu is overwhelming and so it makes it difficult to decide. We started out with the calamari with potatoes. It was underwhelming. I also ordered the skirt steak which was also very bland. The sangria was outstanding. They also served rolls with a green sauce that was also very average. The service was horrible. Today is my birthday and chose to come here as it's a place that I might not otherwise try...I stand corrected. This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The octopus portion is HUGE and was as tender as I've ever had. The skirt stake with traditional sides was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. My dad even asked the waitress, how best to reheat the leftover octopus as there was so much and she went and asked the chef for specific directions so as to not make it tough. Over the years we have been to this restaurant's Fort Myers location many times, but this is our first visit to this place. We know how great the other location is, so we weren't surprised to discover how wonderful this restaurant is. The food, of course, is a mix of Argentinian (Gaucho) and Peruvian (Inca). Both the ambiance and service are warm and welcoming and reflect the culture of both countries. For dinner, my wife had then Vegetarian Tallarin Saltado which she proclaimed to be delicious. Since this is, in part at least, a steakhouse, I had the Rib Eye Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Absolutely wonderful. Ok wow. I remember going to the other el gaucho in Fort Myers years ago and enjoyed it; however, this restaurant was one of the best I've been to in SWFL. First of all, super clean. Super attractive and welcoming interior. Those things are important to me when selecting a restaurant. Staff were all super friendly and willing to answer any questions about menu items. I opted for the picante de camarones, or shrimp in a spicy aji Amarillo sauce, served with a flavorful white rice. I got a side of crispy yucca and practically drank their special house green sauce that comes free with a basket of bread.
