Strolling in the Fort Myers area to visit our son at Uni and were craving for Peruvian food. We found this gem from yelp and decided to try it out. Everything we ordered was delicious. If you're in the Fort Myers area, you should check this place out there are plenty of seating. The place was in a plaza but when you walk in there is that steakhouse vibe. staff was welcoming, it was busy lunch time but service was quick. The price were in the higher end but the portions were huge. There were a few take home boxes in the end. here's what we ordered: first we started off with Some calamari Trio ceviche dish. We decided to order Tostones to pair with the ceviche. Special of the day was a ceviche dish with seafood fried rice. Medium rare skirt steak with fries Jalea mixta For dessert with has the churro with ice cream and the Peruvian donuts. Leave room for dessert. The donuts are a must!

Went for dinner on a girls trip this week and we made it right before happy hour ended, which was a welcomed surprise. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks, and tapas, before ordering our food to go. Leticia our bartender was fantastic! She was so warm and inviting and knew which drinks and tapas we would like, and she was right. We had walked in to just order takeout and her friendly demeanor had us staying for happy hour. This restaurant is really nice and big and had some great decor. The drinks were delicious and made really well, and the tapas did not disappoint in any way. Definitely a great find, and one of the best spots we ate at while on a trip. If we're ever in the area again, we will stop by!

During our trip to Florida we stopped and tried El Gaucho Inca for dinner. My wife and I got the Parrilladas family platter to share. The platter came with 4 different types of steak, pork chops, chicken, sausage, and two sides. The steaks were cooked more towards medium and were very good. The pork and chicken had been marinaded in a flavorful sauce which was very tasty. The entire platter was enough to feed at least 4 people, so we had plenty of leftovers. The service was great and the interior was modern and had a latin flare. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I went for the first time today. The staff as polite. The waitress was pleasant and informative. We ordered the fish and shrimp ceviche; it was fresh and full of flavor. My wife ordered the Lomo Saltado; I went with the Picante de Camarones. Both dishes were outstanding. We then tried two desserts. We will definitely go back.

This establishment had a location in Naples. I was very disappointed when they closed. I knew they opened in Estero, but it seemed like it was never the right time to try the place. On 5/20/2023 became the right time. It's not easy when your order was wrong to give a place 5 stars. But I pointed at what I wanted as I could not pronounce it. So, who is to blame? What is interesting is the menu is much smaller than the Naples menu. But, the choices are plenty. The menu is in sections 1.Ceviche 2. Appetizers 3.Peruvian 4. Chef's Choice 5. Argentinian Grill I chose the "Fettuccini Verde con Entrana steak with pesto sauce" Which was flap steak with a pesto sauce on the fettucine noodles. I received Fettuccini a La Huancaina Steak Anticuchero. I honestly did not know I didn't get what I ordered until I received the bill. There was a price difference, and my mind said the bill should be one price then another showed up. So, I reviewed the bill and saw I didn't get what I ordered. I even put the word Verde in my picture. I didn't see any green but thought oh well. So anyway, it was world class dish. Two beautifully grilled flap steaks with a cream sauce that was out of this world for noodles. Mrs. K ordered "Tallarin Saltado. Simple beef with noodles in a brown sauce with onions and peppers. Very good. There is many numerous choices here with some dishes over $100. If you get to see one of these dishes and all the food that was on the serving it is kind of a deal since it will serve 2 to 4 people. So many dishes so little time. My goal is to become the Duke of this place with an astronomical amount of check-ins.

We came for dinner around 6pm on Saturday and it was packed! There were decorations of gauchos from Argentina and Peru all over the restaurant. Luckily we got a seat at the bar and were able to order right away. We started with a Pisco sour and a caipirinha. We were served some bread while we were waiting which was a nice starter. We ordered the Saltado with seafood and the tallarín verde with steak. The dishes came out pretty quickly despite the crowd. There was more than enough food and we could have shared a plate. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the steak was delicious. We were so full we skipped dessert!

My friends suggested to meet here for lunch over the weekend. That's how I found out about this location in Estero. I had been to El Gaucho Inca in Fort Myers a few times and really like their food. But they seemed to be busy and the service was not on par. On this visit, I had Picante de Mariscos and Trio Ceviches. It was a lot of food for me and my fiancé to share. Food was great as expected from El Gaucho Inca. Service was great. I have to say I like this location better.

This place had a good vibe. It seems they have a very big following. The place got very busy as soon as we sat down. Our server was very professional and attentive. The food was very good and tasteful. The only thing that went wrong was that our steak was cold, but overall, it was good. We did mention it to our waiter, but nothing was done about it, not even the manager came over to apologize.

One of our favorite spots, el gaucho never disappoints. Had dinner with my wife and friends and the food was amazing along with the service. We had their shrimp ceviche followed by empanadas and we had a churrasco cut for dinner. Everything was delicious.

We liked the interior/ambiance of the space for it being in a strip mall. The server was prompt and helpful in her descriptions of the dishes. We found the fish in the ceviche to be rubbery and one of the shrimp seemed off, so not sure about the quality of their seafood. The fried rice was enormous and pretty tasty. The beef and vegetables was also good and the meat was tender. Not sure I would be in a hurry to go back with so many options nearby.

Ok wow. I remember going to the other el gaucho in Fort Myers years ago and enjoyed it; however, this restaurant was one of the best I've been to in SWFL. First of all, super clean. Super attractive and welcoming interior. Those things are important to me when selecting a restaurant. Staff were all super friendly and willing to answer any questions about menu items. I opted for the picante de camarones, or shrimp in a spicy aji Amarillo sauce, served with a flavorful white rice. I got a side of crispy yucca and practically drank their special house green sauce that comes free with a basket of bread. In fact, I loved the green sauce so much that I purchased a jar to take home. Everyone loved their meals and we are definitely gonna be returning... maybe tomorrow! Yes, it was that good! read more

Amazing restaurant - between food, service, and ambiance this place checks all the boxes. Highly recommend their steak dishes, always cooked perfectly and very tender. My husband and I were visiting the area, and happen to be staying in a hotel nearby. This restaurant came up on a search. The food is rich, delicious, authentic, and will leave lasting memories. The portions are generous - so definitely save room. I only wish our hotel had a microwave to reheat leftovers. read more

We wanted to try this new location as we're big fans of the Fort Myers location. Didn't disappoint! We didn't have reservations but despite the hustle & bustle of Saturday night dinners, we were seated within 15 minutes. It definitely has a welcome warm decor. Different than the FM one . We were thankful for our Uber friendly waitress. I ordered the lovely snapper fish dish with creamy yellow sauce & side of rice. I forgot to mention my Calamari/squid allergy & got the fish topped with calamari . Waitress got me a new one topped with shrimp instead! Needless to say, food was delicious & very filling. Outstanding! We had the calamari appetizer which was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection! Went to have lunch at this place today in the afternoon. A friend told me it was good, and asked for the trio ceviche, 29.99, all I can say is for the price they charge, the amount of fish and shrimp should be more bigger. Also, the flavor was not great at all, actually was bland. The red onion was more flavorful than the fish in the ceviche. Service was good still won't come back. read more

We order the fish ceviche, the o tipis, the empanadas, the New York stick and the gnocchi with pink sauce and the chicken. Plus the mango guava cheese cake and the crepes... Oh I want to come back to try other dishes but I'm two hours away! The menu is extensive and everything sounds delicious. My seafood a lo macho was very tasty. My only disappointment was the salchipapas, it came out so late and so hot our daughter couldn't really have any, the sausage was on the salty side, however. We did take them home. The portions are very generous, so you'll definitely have your fill. The service was really good, and even though we got there around 20 minutes before closing we were served very well and without issues, we weren't the last patrons to leave either. The best Argentinian parrillada in SWFL!! The location is somewhat off putting but the food is amazing. I was not very impressed with their dessert but everything else was off the chain tasty, so I wouldn't want to ding them for the dessert. Amazing latin fare. Amazing skirt steak with chimichurri (Churrasco de Entraña). AMAZING tasting beans with a cumin flavor. High quality service, genuine hardworking staff (one of the chefs doubles as a bartender and makes amazing drinks), authentic experience. This is my favorite spot on this side of the coast. I've been here repeatedly with my family and we are always treated with respect and professionalism. First time visiting this restaurant as per a friend's recommendation, it did not disappoint and actually went well beyond any expectations. The food is really top quality and fresh, the service we received by Maibel was 10 out of 5 stars. Place looks nice, service was good, but, sadly the food was not the best. Way overpriced and the Peruvian food was not great it was eatable and ok to eat, but not great. They have Argentinean food and Italian as well, perhaps those dishes were better. I would not return to eat here, specially for the cost! read more

We sat at the bar because there was an hour long wait for a table for 2. The plastic covered menus were dirty, you could feel the dried food that hadn't been removed in days. There were flies buzzing around the bar. The bartender was unfriendly. We decided to have cocktails and an appetizer, and then leave. I asked what kind of fish is in the ceviche, and the bartender said "Swai". I had to look it up. Swai is a farm raised Vietnamese catfish. Does that sound like something you would want to eat in a ceviche? We ordered the shrimp ceviche, and they brought us the fish ceviche anyway!!! Sent it back. Finished our drinks, and left. If you are comfortable eating farm raised seafood from Southeast Asia in a Peruvian/Argentinian restaurant, then this is probably an OK place. Otherwise, think twice before eating here. Their staff could use a crash course in politeness and cleanliness. read more

The food was delicious, with a great variety of options that showcase the restaurant's impressive diversity of flavors and dishes. Every meal at our table was prepared perfectly and exceeded our expectations. The service was truly outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make our birthday celebration special, treating our guests with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Their attention to detail made the occasion even more memorable. For us, One beef dish was quite good, One seafood pasta dish was just OK, but the calamari was beyond rubbery. One dish had beef that tasted liver-y and the overall flavor was more like a Chinese dish, like just soy sauce. But the worst was, two of us had gastrointestinal issues later that night for several hours.
