    Birria goat taco plate
    Laurel S.

We were served quickly and service was efficient. We were 1 of 3 tables. They were out of a few drink options, but they are new so likely will be available normally. We had chips and salsa. The salsa was good- kind of tasted like Pace. We had 2 sauces- green chili sauce and a green hot sauce. Both were flavorful and good additions to our entrees. The single tacos had a lot of different options and you can add different toppings. The ground beef was really good- like a healthy Taco Bell. The chicken had really good flavor but was incredibly dry even with me dousing it in the green chili sauce. The rice and bean taco is good because the beans were really good but probably wouldn't order that again, just was not very adventurous. The steak taco my husband felt was more flavorful than the steak and chorizo. The birria tacos- we had no idea this was goat prior to coming here (not sure if it is at every restaurant), but they were delicious. The consommé was well flavored. Meat seasoned well. This was definitely the star of the dinner. Definitely worth coming back to in the future to try more items.

Foods are very good and so are their service. This is one of our very fav place for Mexican meals.

Four small enchiladas with a heaping mound of lettuce. Not a fan.

Food was just ok. Nothing special. The salsa for the chips was good, could have been thicker but the amount of cilantro was really good. I had the enchiladas, chicken and beef. Would not order it again. Rice had no flavor. They also copped out to the Pepsi products instead of Coke, which they list on the menu.

The staff was friendly and our waitress was friendly, talkative and fun. She definitely added to our experience. I hope we get her again the next time we go. The place is clean and large enough for 2-10 people in a group. They have typical booths, tables and is spaced out enough that you don't feel too crowded. The food was delicious! We got something with a bed or Mexican rice covered in chicken and queso. It came with 3 tortilla shells. The flavor was amazing and the portions were more than enough for two of us to share. Our friends got the burritos and they said it was one of the best they had. Now the drinks! Wow! They have a sangria margarita that will go down way too smoothly and warm you up right away. So good! We are definitely going back for those! Can you tell from all the exclamation points how good it was? LOL. We will be back and I hope that your experience is just as good.

Try it; you won't regret it. Did you also know that Lindo Mexico is a woman owned business? I love that, and want to show them some love this month while Yelp supports women owned businesses. The waitress was friendly and busy. The seating was a little tight depending on where you sit. Our table was almost blended into the one next to us. The food was good. The menu is partially in Mexican, so be prepared to either use a translation app or guess what you're getting based on photos. We ordered or thought we ordered the #9 lunch but got something a bit different but still very tasty. The plate was full of all the standard stuff, beans, rice, salad, main dish. The chicken under the cheese was delicious and moist. The beans and rice were flavorful without being dry. The salsa was unique. It was something of an acquired taste. The margarita flight was delicious! The prickly pear and traditional were our favorites. The blue one was a close second or third. The mango with the spicy rum was our least.

Well after a week, she was craving Mexican food and researched this place & showed me the reviews and I thought maybe things had changed since I left. Things have not. The salsa here is tomato juice, there isn't a hint of spice. The chips seem like they went down to Mejier and got them on sale. They managed to get my son's carne asada taco wrong, my wife ordered the floutas/taquitos (whatever they have) and for the first time in my life I saw her not finish them. My tacos weren't worth the money and I went in with LOW expectations. I'm bumping this up 1 star b/c they are probably good for Grand Rapids Mexican Food. FOR ALL OUT OF STATE CUSTOMERS - especially those from Texas/Colorado/New Mex/Arizona/California and the West Coast... don't get Mexican food in the Mid West, just wait till you get home.

Inside it's clean and looks like a typical Mexican restaurant with some added neon signs and accents. The place had a decent crowd. Probably around 16 or so people eating. Sat me in a booth. Brought me chips and salsa immediately. Chips were good salsa was good. Smooth and not any heat so majority would like it. Server came over and got my drink order and I asked him about a few dishes on the menu. He was very nice and answered all my questions. Menu is large and they have lots of the usual fare and choices. I couldn't decide and he helped me narrow it down. I got the chicken chimichangas. They came super fast and hot. 2 small chimichangas with a sauce, refried beans, a small scoop of quac, sour cream, and tomatoes. Really small. Like not enough to evenly distribute to the chimichangas. And the quac was dark like it had been exposed to air for a bit. Taste was OK all around. It was decent. Nothing spectacular but OK. I ate it and it was filling. If you have a large appetite you may want to get something else. Overall it's just OK. Probably try someplace else next time.
