I saw some good Yelp reviews of this spot, so I suggested it for dinner one evening with my aunt and uncle. The space is really nicely decorated and it feels fancy. I ordered a paloma and I appreciated how strong it was! They also have a lot of specialty drinks and margaritas. We got chips and salsa delivered to the table as soon as we sat down which is always appreciated. The drink menu didn't list any prices, but my paloma was $12. The menu is pretty large and I was having a tough time deciding what to order. They have all your standards- tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc. but also some Mexican specialties that I don't see as often, like tilapia plancha. I decided on the hot & spicy burrito, with chicken, beef, beans, and rice, topped with salsa ranchera and beef tips. Nate got a chimichanga. Our food didn't take too long to come out and everything was hot and fresh. The burrito was smaller than I was expecting based on its price ($16.49), but it was delicious and I ate the whole thing. We noticed a "newer" Mexican restaurant up by Knapp's Corner. We went there for lunch today and know we've found another restaurant we have to come back to. First, the restaurant is very nicely decorated and the booths and tables are nicely spaced so there is no feel of crowding. Our chips and salsa came quickly and we began to study the menu. The salsa was quite good with the chips rather ordinary. In as much as we just came for lunch, we ordered off the lunch menu but wanted to see so of the dishes we might consider wen we eat later in the day. A really excellent menu. My wife ordered "Lunch Acapulco" which was a tortilla filled with steak, cheese and onions. I ordered chicken fajitas. Both meals were excellent. Service was attentive as well. Looks like Acapulco Mexican Grill will be on our regular rotation. read more

Are here on Monday around 3 pm, staff were nice, super quick on refills, could be because I was one of 5 people in the restaurant. Inside area was nice, TVs with sports and TVs with movies near the bar. Seating was good. For prices, I feel like the tacos were on the more expensive side, but that's what you get with the type of sit down restaurant. I got the Enchilada Super Rancheras, and when it came I was expecting 5 enchiladas but it was 3 with rice and beans so kinda misled by the wording, and it was good for the price. Our server Juan was very attentive and welcoming . He had an extensive understanding of all the menu options and drink options . I went for DosEquis amber and my wife adventured to the passion fruit martini . She was thrilled with the drink and its presentation. Chips no salsa were ample and they had guacamole and other dips to order if you choose . I think the queso chorizo will be on our agenda next time . So many burrito choices that are unique so I opted for the burrito choriz. It was stuffed with steak and chicken topped with chorizo and grilled shrimp along with grilled pineapple and queso . Yum I was thrilled with it and the beans come with a chorizo topping. My wife went with enchiladas and she raved about them . A nice touch was the rice which was topped with a stuffed banana pepper . Definitely the best Mexican food we'd had in a long while . The restaurant is clean and well decorated with a great drink selection as well as the extensive menu . I really enjoyed the tomato salsa I was greeted by as I sat down. The sause itself was very good. However I got sick from it. I believe the wooden bowl that it was served in was not clean. I give it only 3 stars now but since it's new it might improve. The ambiance is pretty good but the high ceilings and hard surfaces make for fairly loud background noise. The chips and salsa were good but the sauce in both the burrito and enchiladas tasted like spaghetti -o's to us. Had high expectations for Acapulco in a competitive market with several Mexican restaurants nearby. The food was average. Our selections could have come from any other restaurant, as they were not distinctive. Corn shell tacos is a good gauge for me and the grilled shrimp version here is good, as long as I added the accompanying salsa. Brightly lit, with TVs on the walls, Acapulco is welcoming. I went online with my coworkers and ordered from Acapulco using Google. Google naturally searches to the restaurant closest to your location and it connected me with a way to order lunch from Acapulco. We went online and looked at the menu then ordered our food by physically calling in the order. When we picked up the food and brought it back to the office, everything had different prices on it. We were overcharged by two dollars in some cases per item. I copied the restaurant menu and brought the receipt back to the restaurant to show them the error. The manager argued with me and debated that the menu online had not been updated. Therefore I was charged the correct prices. Additionally he also accused me of looking at a restaurant that was located in Lansing instead of his. Anybody knows when you use Google it locates you to the closest location. In this case, this restaurant is literally across the street from my office. The thing that frustrates me is it was $4.29 that was due back to me plus tip. He argued with me over the money instead of realizing the value and saving my business. Never again will I eat there in any person that I get to talk to?
