El Guero Taquero did the food for my daughter's baby shower yesterday and I'm soooo happy that I chose to go with them!! The food was amazing, he trims the fat and marinates the delicious beans for 18 hours!!! They arrived about two hours early to set up, and even stayed a half hour extra because there was a bad traffic jam on the freeway, causing our guests to be late. We had "El Quero Taquero" out to do our wedding in October of 2020. What stood out most to me was Charles and his wives warm and loving service. Their ability to welcome customers with a smile and engage in a respectful manor as though they were family themselves. I can remember contacting Charles before the wedding concerned that we would not have enough food and suggesting we get Costco pizza for the kids. He reassured me with a calm in his voice that we did not need to do this and he would get more meat if needed for no additional charge. Their knowledge and experience was unparalleled as we had plenty of food and even had leftovers. We had Pastor, Asada and Chicken tacos that were absolutely amazing. The rice and beans were so yummy and complimented the tacos well. They even made yummy little Asada quesadillas for the little ones. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with El Guero Taquero. I hired them for my baby shower because I had about 60 guests and every single person could not get enough of the great quality tacos they were serving. I asked if they could also do VEGAN tacos with jackfruit because I have some vegan family members and they happily accommodated us. The jackfruit tacos tasted amazing! The caterers were so friendly and so personable! It was such a joy to talk to them. There's a man named Chuck and a woman named Vicky that cook the food, they're very funny and very polite and makes sure all of their guests are taken care of. It was an extremely hot day and we kept asking if he needed anything and he would just tell us, "Go enjoy your party and your guests. I'll take care of you guys." It was great to know that there is a catering company out there that still cares in a personal way like that. El Guero Taquero gave me a phenomenal price and a phenomenal experience! They even showed up an hour and a half before the event started so everything was ready as soon as the guests arrived.
