Wonderful place the food is like moms cooking. The salsa was spicy but enticing. Over all everything was very delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Even the cook greeted us as we walked in. Wonderful home style and warming place definitely will come back.

The Sunday brunch was great! Like all the other reviews mentioned, very authentic food and well priced at $13.99 pp I suggest you don't fill your plate up the first go.l because as you're sitting new stuff comes in to replace what was there. So get it if you really want it l, but don't over fill. Another tip. Don't fall for the 2 for 1 orange juice special, it was $10.00 for two glasses of orange juice. It was fresh squeezed and very delicious but overpriced.

This decor is fugly. The parking lot is small. Sometimes it takes forever to get your food. Sometimes the cook is lazy. The water is sick - cloudy with bubbles and they have the nerve to put a damn lemon slice in it. ugh. I am not a fan of sodas or other tasty beverages while eating but I will occasionally have one here. I got Jamaica. It was so sweet I ordered the cloud water. We all ordered chilaquiles. If you don't know what they are - google it. I don't feel like explaining it. There are pics. They were tasty.

I had the burrito with beef, potato and green chili. It was really good, but as I said they were small. But for the price you get what you pay for and I believe that five dollars is fair for this burrito. I wanted to try the bean cheese, I went ahead and bought one of those and it was delicious as well. If you're coming here, expecting a huge burrito you should probably order a couple. Flavor is here in each of these burritos. What I like the most is that they were small enough to order two and try different ones instead of being stuck with the same big giant burrito. Two equal the price of your average burrito somewhere else. After eating two of the small burritos, I was definitely full. Service was good! Pretty fast and easy to order. I definitely recommend trying this place.

They recommend 2-3 burritos per person but I think you can get away with 1. they are small but filling. I bought two and was happy that I had one for the next day. They heat up well in the toaster oven or air fryer. I am curious how the frijoles y queso one is. I am sure it is really good too.

Lunch on Taco Tuesday in Temple City, Los Angeles, California…read more.. My friend, Rosemarie, highly recommended El Ruizeñor Grill because she had been there in the past for a Yelp event. She described the food, the prizes, and the fun - wow! Let's go! Parking on the street was easy. We arrived before the lunch crowd, so several tables were available. Afterwards, the place was packed in the colorfully decorated and festive atmosphere! Service was attentive, friendly, and helpful! The Taco Tuesday deal was great! We got pollo, papa, al pastor, and carnitas tacos for $1.56 each, and a carne asada taco for $2.56! Everything was tasty and beautiful! I also enjoyed a generous, refreshing horchata! Thanks, Rose for the fun foodie adventure! I appreciated the complementary crunchy chips and non-spicy salsa! Yum!

I knew this would be the perfect spot. The recipes are from Oaxaca Mexico, the owner, Debbie, was working and greeted us. We took advantage of the Taco Tuesday deal. We ordered Carnitas, Al Pastor, and Chicken tacos from the $1.56 list and Carne Asada, Lengua from the $2.56 list, plus Tortila Chips topped with Mole sauce and cheese to share. I'm loving the mole, which is usually made with chicken. This is the first time having it served as Nacho Chips. It's a little on the spicy side and sweet at the same time, so savory! The restaurant has nice decor, murals on the interior walls, and ceramic dishes. Cafe de Olla is a specialty coffee made with a cinnamon stick, it was served in a beautiful clay mug. This is not offered in many restaurants, be sure to give it a try. It's available hot or iced. There are approximately indoor seating for 40 to 50 guests (in my estimation), and 4 to 5 outdoor tables by the entrance. Please note that handmade tortillas are available on the weekends, you know I will be back again and again! Sincerely, Rosemary
