Fish tacos were really good; pico de gallo had created a great combination. Fried chicken sliders were amazing; I loved their house-made buffalo sauce; and the creamy coleslaw added a nice taste to them. And the fries were crispy and fresh. The slow braised oxtail was so tender and marinated to perfection, every bite was full of flavour. The chicken one was paired with a bit of goat cheese, enough to give flavour without overpowering. The fish one was tasty but a bit oily for my preference. - The chicken and waffles: 3 spicy chicken tenders on a bed of 2 waffles and syrup - Fries - Mac n Cheese - Premium pop: They had super unique flavours here that I've rarely seen elsewhere. I chose the peach Fanta and Frostbite Mountain dew. Peach fanta was great! I wanted to try the jerk chicken sandwich and the oxtail sandwich as well, but no space in stomach for it Maybe next time! There isn't any seating in the specific spot, it's more of a take out joint though there is a bit of a bar table you can stand at if you want. Made the mad massive mistake of not snappin' a pic of their incredible tacos! My excitement to eat these overwhelmed me. Came across them by accident as I just got back into town & wanted a late dinner ~ Googled them & saw that not only were they open til midnight, they also had good reviews. I managed to make some room for a bit of Cajun fries. It may be a little confusing finding this gem. The chef known as "Chef Chino" opened up a ghost kitchen inside Leng Keng Bar & Lounge. It may be open for a limited time so get it now for take out or delivery, while you can! The chef is also working on new recipes for more dishes to come. Plain Jane If you don't like saucy saucy burgers then this is the one for you. It's plain with a bit of aioli. The seasoning and crispiness is just the right amount of you just want the protein. Chef's Special - Honey Buffalo I love coleslaw and this creamy coleslaw is a delicious burger topping. What makes this burger special is the Buffalo sauce. It is a little tangy with a hint of honey. It's pretty good on its own too. I normally don't eat Buffalo but this one was good with a kick of heat. The Jerk The buns for the jerk chicken though.. it was like those slightly honey biscuits. The ones you get from Church's or Popeyes but not too sweet or salty. I could definitely eat a lot the buns on its own. This burger is like a jerk chicken meal in a bun. You get a bit of Jamaica rice and peas and coleslaw. It's delicious. Manganero This is my fav! I love the sauce. I do wish there were more mango chunks in my order. Grown from a "ghost" kitchen in the middle of COVID (when I first tried it) now a bigger space and a store for the operation - the food is still delicious - The Chefs Special sandwich is both sweet and hot - just the right amount of both. The chicken is moist with just right amount of breading. Topped with coleslaw and supplied with gloves just in case you need to eat it in the car. (A little messy but you have the gloves ) The best compliment I can give is that everything, including the bun was super fresh! Maybe I'll be adventurous next time and try the wings. A bit hard to find, as it's actually inside of a club/lounge, but a real gem in the neighbourhood. My wife and I went for the first time tonight and had the family special, which was an enormous amount of food for two people for a very reasonable price. I wish I could leave no stars. I cannot begin to express the anger I have over the food I received last night and what happened. I placed an order through DoorDash and was excited to try the Chefs Special. I took a couple bites and it was very good. Then about four bites in I bit down on something so hard I cannot even describe the shock and panic that went through me at the moment. I was so shocked I swallowed the bite. I had never bitten into something that hard in my life and experienced that blinding pain. I sat shocked for about five minutes trying to figure out what just happened. I then prayed that I would be able to take a bite again and hope that would be the end of it. Nope! It became very evident that my tooth was cracked. The gum line immediately swelled up and putting any biting pressure on it sends an immediate shocking intense pain. I immediately messaged DoorDash and got an immediate response and escalation to their safety response team. They have been wonderful so far. My main problem is now that I am home alone looking after a toddler, with no childcare as my wife is across the country preparing for our relocation, so I am unable to even get to the dentist until she gets back. I am popping Advil every four hours just to be able to concentrate through the pain. I can at best chew a little on the one side of my mouth with minimal pain and best of all looking oh so looking forward to how ever many thousands of dollars in dentist bills I am about to incur to repair the damage. I have no idea what the object was that I bit down on. I hope it was at least chicken bone (because thinking of anything else drives me into incandescent rage). Either way it does not matter. My tooth and my life is wrecked for the time being because of a complete lack of quality control. I ordered a $13 chicken sandwich (never mind the fries and second sandwich I had to throw out after) and will be suffering for quite a while for that decision. Beware by eating at this establishment what your real costs could end up being in the long term. Update: finally got to the dentist and guess what the tooth is cracked and not salvageable so I have to get it pulled and will have to spend minimum $2k for an implant and get to be embarrassed and lose job opportunities because I am missing a tooth that is very noticeable. PLEASE NO ONE EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEIR LACK OF QUALITY CONTROL COULD CAUSE YOU THE SAME OR WORSE DAMAGE I NOW HAVE! read more
