I ordered a nacho supreme and they came out with just meat queso and chips that's all that was on my supreme nachos when there's supposed to be lettuce beans cheese queso sour cream avocado etc. It was my birthday and they did not Hand me what I ordered so I asked them to remake it and when they said OK they just brought me a side of lettuce and sour cream so I will no longer be going there for my birthday again read more

This was our first visit to this Mexican restaurant. They were moderately busy when we arrived for dinner. Several tables were empty, but needed to be cleared. As we sat down to receive our drinks and chips/salsa, I noticed that no one was clearing the messy empty tables. They stayed messy all through our meal. This was strange to me. The salsa was fresh and spicy. We ordered enchilada plates, and one carne Asada. All of our food was hot (temp) and tasted delicious. Service was a bit slow, but the servers were nice and polite and answered all of our questions. We will be back, but hope that they will have a busser to clear tables. read more

Delicious chips - not greasy. Guacamole was inexpensive and very good. I ordered a combo plate with rice, beans, chalupa and cheese enchilada. Rice ok-kinda bland. Basic refried beans. Cheese enchilada was good. Chalupa was crispy. I had a basic frozen margarita. No dirty tables. I was There for dinner and there were quite a few folks eating. Casual. Staff was nice - no complaints. Terrible service! Lazy waitresses. Cashier took my order, and then all the other waitresses just ignored me. Left me sitting at the table never once bothered to see if I needed anything. Ok food for a cheap meal. No one to seat us when we arrived. Waitress only took our orders. Kitchen staff delivered the meal. No one followed up on our order once delivered to us. We had to ask other workers for anything we needed (drink refills, etc). All this gave us an impression they need more training or hire more servers. My fiancé and I tried El Jimador for the first time about 2 months ago and had a great experience. Today, we decided to order take out (due to COVID-19) and we are just as pleased as we were when we ate in the restaurant! They correctly made our order, all the food was hot and fresh, and out to go margaritas were perfectly made. We appreciate the high quality service and food they gave us during this time!! So I usually don't write reviews for anyplace but this place was just the worse. I ordered a horchata and we also ordered 2 drinks with alcohol. They took at least 10 min to bring out the horchata but brought out the other 2 drinks. And we also had to ask for some chips and salsa because well we had to remind them about everything. They are also so un organized with their staff that we had 2 waiters asking us for drink orders. And neither of them introduced themselves or say anything else other than "what did you guys want to drink and are y'all ready to order ? Ok". They also didn't come back to make sure our food was ok after another staff member brought out our food at different times. When we were finally leaving I went and asked for churros to go , the host did not ask anything of anything and went and put chocolate syrup and caramel on them when the churros already have sugar on them. And I wold understand if it said it on the menu but not even on the menu said it had even more stuff that I did not ask for. What a DISAPPOINTMENT!! read more

Be prepared to wait and for terrible service. We sat at our table for a good 20 minutes before our waitress ever came to our table to take our drink order. She was too busy flirting with the boys at the table next to us. We sat at our table for about 30 minutes until we HAD TO ASK a waiter to bring us some chips and salsa. When our food came out 50 minutes later we couldn't eat it because we hadn't been brought our silverware and ONCE AGAIN we had to ask for our silverware to be brought to us. The tables all around us had not been bussed all throughout our 1 hour and 30 minute lunch, which should've been at a max an hour. Throughout our wait we saw 4 separate families get up and leave due to the poor service. When everyone's meals had been brought out then and only then did they decide to mention to a member of our party that they had run out of Menudo when our waitress had had a good 40 minutes to warn him and allow him to choose a different item off of the menu. When it finally came time to pay the tab, the member of our party who didn't get his menudo or order anything different off the menu the waitress said she was going to be kind and not charge us for it. Obviously you're not gonna charge us for a meal we never received it. We will never return here again, they need to hire better and more staff. read more
