We are snow birds. So we are only here for a month. We found this little place last year and came back this year. They have excellent food and great prices. They have good customer service. If I lived around here I would patronize them on a regular basis. I had the roast beef sliders, really good and my husband had a turkey sub. They are not skimpy on their ingredients. Needed to grab a quick bit for dinner and swung into El Marie's. I have had their meatball sliders before and fell in love with the flavor, so decided to try the sub and it DID NOT disappoint. First time at the restaurant recently and the pizza was very good using quality ingredients and a thin flavorful crust. Service was somewhat marginal with waitress not very friendly seemingly indignant to any questions we had about the pizza or beverages. Case in point, after our meal was finished I asked if they would ever have beer or wine on the menu because nothing was on the menu. We felt like we were reprimanded for not knowing there were beer & wine beverages in an upright cooler that wasn't visible from our table. We've recently moved to the area and been on the hunt to find the best pizza close by. We haven't tried all of the local pizza joints yet, but we have tried most of them, and every time we try a new one, we always say " El Marie's is still better". We've only taken To-Go, but they are always friendly and quick to assist. The one and only thing I wish they had was a smaller order of bread and a mid-sized pizza. We're only 2 people, so 18" is huge and 10" is too small, either way. We're continuing to try other places, but so far, el Marie's is winning read more

Pizza has a crispy thin crust and many topping selections. Subs are also available. Customer service is primo. I personally like the calzones. Absolutely amazing service, and the BBQ Chicken Pizza we got was insanely delicious. Definitely one of the best pizza makers in all of Florida, if not the entire world. One thing I will say is that the BBQ Chicken pizza came with Blue Cheese dollops - normally I hate blue cheese - but this was so delicious I couldn't stop eating the pizza. I really suggest trying the blue cheese on the BBQ Pizza, not sure about the other ones but holy crap this was amazing. If you're skeptical just get it on half or quarter of the pizza to try it out, I bet you'll enjoy it even if you hate blue cheese normally. I want to personally thank the owners and the two or three people that were working when we stopped by a couple days ago with our kids and my fiancés brother, you guys are amazing. I Can honestly say that we haven't been to a place in a long time that exceeded our expectations 10 fold - this is one of this hidden gems in Florida. Great place, I live in Tampa and I am definitely already planning on going back to Eustis just for this. While the salad was good,there were no options for dressing.I am not a huge fan of oil and vinegar dressing,but that was the only offer. Also the fact that I couldn't order pizza by slice,just whole pie. Then when I went to pay,if you charge or debit,they add 3% (or 3.56 or something)to the bill. I can see a 10.00 minimum but to automatically do this was a turn off. Then there was the bill... Ok the food was good but it cost me 19.58 for a small(but generous)tuna sammich,side salad and a soda. Almost 20.00 we'll 25.00 after tip for one person.For very casual dining experience. I have only been here once so far, but I definitely plan to go back. They were very friendly; I was just out of the hospital at the time and one of the owners (I think) chatted with me outside for a few minutes while I waited for my wife to bring our vehicle over after the meal. I ordered the calzone, which was terrific. It was $20, but so big that it went for two meals, so plan on either sharing it or taking some home like I did. They have pizzas, of course, and subs, which all look great, but it will be difficult for me not to get the calzone when I go back! It is located on Bay Street, near The Crazy Gator and the swimming pool. There is some outdoor seating available. I will try to post a few pictures after I go back!
