We stopped in on a bustling Black Friday evening during Light Up Eustis. We were able to score a table shortly after arriving and staff were accommodating with storing our wheel chair while dining-in. Our server, JC was awesome and on-point with all of our needs. Our main course arrived in about 20 minutes, which is amazing being as busy as they were on this evening. We ordered the Large Antipasto Salad ($10.99) and the 16" Meat Lover Pizza ($22.99) to share family-style. The salad was a bit lacking; it included plenty of lettuce, but only two slices of ham/salami rolled up, three slices of tomato, two slices of cucumber, and a bit of mozzarella cheese. No olives, artichoke hearts, or banana peppers. It was enough to share but underwhelming. The Pizza was delicious, lacking sauce, but plenty of toppings and the crust was near perfect; slightly soggy toward the center, most likely due to our topping choice. Roma Pizza actually has some really great deals. For example, all entrees are served with your choice of pasta or fresh homemade garlic knots. So, you could order a Tour of Italy for $15.99, which comes with lasagna, chicken parm, and ravioli, plus receive the pasta or garlic knots option as well, not bad at all! The men's room could definitely use an overhaul. It was not very clean and the toilet seat was hanging on by a thread, which is a safety hazard, especially for someone who is disabled. All-in-all, if you are craving some good Italian food with great service in downtown Eustis, I highly recommend giving Roma Pizza and Italian Cuisine a try.

We came here Nov 2023. On a Friday night. It was packed because it was light up Eustis. But we were able to get in quickly. We started with the anti-pasta salad. Overall the salad was lacking. Used iceberg lettuce. And I would not get bit again. We ordered a meat lovers pizza. 16 inch. It came out fresh and hot. Light sauce with a lot of meat and cheese. Which made it a little greasy. We ordered pepperoni ham and sausage. It had good flavor. They have inside and outside tables. Parking on street.

Almost forgot to take the pictures it was so good.

I want to gate keep this place so Badly!!!! It's a piece of comfort. Family owned with nicest staff in central Florida... we've tried pretty much all the items on the menu and we've haven't been disappointed yet..... Go to: Margaritas pizza Buffalo chicken wings Chicken parmigiana Lasagna There is seating inside and outside ( don't recommend outside in the summer) but it's cute and has a great view of downtown Eustis. Definitely a hidden Gem- that we will be going over and over again. It truly has become our comfort go to spot!

This place has so much potential. They need to put some sauce on their pizzas. It has maybe a tablespoon of sauce on a medium pizza!

The Southern burger was great, but I tossed off the raw onions as I absolutely hate them, and added the lovely pickled onions from my wife's salad, which gave the perfect amount of flavor and color. Don't you agree? Give me a LIKE if you do !!! The crepe was next level. Delicate crepe, very soft ripe bananas, sauce was not disgustingly sugary, and the vanilla ice cream was smooth and soft, not icy and sweet. Dunno what brand they use, or if they churn the cream fresh in-house, but it made my day.

There are lots of delightful restaurants there (according to yelpers) but many were located downtown and parking was hard to find so we decided to go to Fifth Avenue Streatery since we had driven by and there was lots of parking. All of which the tables are outside on a charming patio with lots of interesting decor. It was 11:30 so the day was pleasant and sitting outside was fine. Not sure how I would feel about that in August. Our waitress was Haley (guessing at the spelling) and she was bubbly and very attentive. The menu wasn't overwhelming and I always think that's a good sign that most of the food is being prepared fresh and not pulled from a freezer. My mom ordered the fish sandwich with tomato and cucumber salad. After ordering the Italian Haley said they were out of beef until the owner arrived so I went for the day's special which was a seafood basket: two pieces of fried fish, four huge shrimp and clam strips. Clam strips are not my favorite but these were very crisp and tasty. It was served with fries and cold slaw. We both agreed the food was very good. I asked for some cocktail sauce and after a few minutes she came back with saying she had to make some. It was fantastic, very horseradish forward which I loved. I am glad we couldn't locate our first two choices since we got to eat at this funky little place and have the best server in all of Mt. Dora.

The bartender was extremely nice and did a great job and the place was clean and kept up. The only reason I'm leaving 4 stars is because of our treatment by one of the locals when we walked in. We saw on Facebook that they do bingo on certain nights, so we were excited to check it out. As soon as we stepped in the door, a white haired lady asked us if we were here for bingo. We said yes and then she asked if we had reservations. No ma'am, we didn't realize we needed reservations for bar bingo when there was plenty of seating available as far as we could see. She then proceeded to harass us, telling us we couldn't sit at any of the tables or even at the bar! Nothing was marked as reserved. She then told us to go ask the bingo lady where we're allowed to sit. This all seemed so easily avoidable if they had "reserved" signs or even state on their Facebook page ad that reservations are needed. When we asked the bingo lady, she told us to sit at the bar. Then the initial white haired lady continued to harass us by asking us if we're sure we're sitting in the right place because those seats are usually reserved for the locals. WOW, she was A LOT and we were so overwhelmed before we could even put in a food/drink order! We almost just walked out due to feeling so uncomfortable and unwanted by the locals in there. But I'm glad we did stay because the food was good. I'm not sure we'll ever be back for bingo, though.

The road (S Highland St.) can be busy. There are adjacent parking lots across the streets in front and on the brewery side (Liberty Ave and S Highland St.). It seems easier to park there and can help make entering the roadway much easier. Kat took care of us. She answered any questions we had. She was knowledgeable about the menu and even made food and drink recommendations. We had shareable appetizers and also ordered individual meals. I sampled the Kettle Chips and the Abbey Nachos. The Kettle Chips were absolutely delicious. They wee fresh and beautifully seasoned. I ordered the Sanctum Steak & Egg from the Brunch menu. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm. Side options included Tater Tots or Fruit. I opted for the Tater Tots. The Sanctum Steak & Egg was assembled on a Brioche Bun with a generous serving of Bellringer Aioli. The sandwich was flavorful and very filling. The Tater Tots too were fresh and perfectly seasoned. They were hot, crispy and delicious. I indulged in the Lavender Dream Drop seasonal cocktail. My only complaint was that the glass it was served in was not big enough. There was a good balance and taste of the vodka, lemon juice and housemade lavender syrup. I would definitely return to Eden Abbey for a few repeat flavors and an opportunity to try other menu items. I inadvertently and accidentally deleted the food pics!
