We had a large pizza with 2 different halves. They don't normally do white and marinara halves, but weren't too busy on this Friday afternoon to accommodate us. The other two diners in our party split the lasagna and found the serving generous. They also really liked the garlic bread and ordered an extra side of this. My half of the pizza was the Stavros Deluxe and the toppings were very generous and of good quality. I also found the crust to be crisp despite being a thicker variety and it had a good flavor. I also split a Greek salad with my wife and the medium size was perfect for the both of us. Seating was comfortable, but our location was directly under the vents. So next time I'll sit along the outside wall to avoid the drafts. Our server was friendly and attentive and nobody wanted for refills or service. read more

We've been wanting to try this place for a while after hearing good reviews and finally made it there. It can be a difficult corner to get into if it's a traffic time of day. Two small outdoor areas but at least the one was full of smokers. When we entered we were told to sit anywhere. A couple came in after us and had drinks and placed an order before we had menus! We were staying at the Southern Palms Rv Resort and found out there was an Italian restaurant across the street. The sign was missing on the front of the restaurant so we weren't sure if we were at the right place. My wife and I got the Stavros Deluxe 10" pizza. The pizza was very good and some of the best we've had in a while. We also ordered garlic cheesy bread with marinara sauce. The bread was good and the marinara sauce was great! If you do order it keep in mind the marinara sauce is extra. The service were fast and friendly. read more

I actually really like their pizza. They have the basic toppings you would expect, but the crust is very good. I love their website that says their goal is to meet as strangers but leave as friends. I feel that the staff does try to emulate that sentiment. They are friendly, but not overly friendly to the point it gets weird. The place is always busy (that's a good sign, right?). But the staff is attentive as needed. They do have beer and wine. It is a cute place. Reminds me more of an Italian place than your general American pizza parlor which I think is great. My daughter was in town and was craving a good Greek salad. We decided to do delivery from Stavros. There wasn't an option in the app to ask for extra feta and ham, so we called them directly. My wife's parents retired on Eustis and came here often. They're gone now but we live in Tavares and come often. Last Saturday we came and I ordered my usual, spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. My wife had chicken parmesan with marinara sauce. They start you with garlic bread and Greek salads that have a ton of cheese, ham, and very good dressing. As usual, everything was delicious and we both took home half of our meals as they are very generous. Why would you thro a handful of cold mushrooms on an already cooked pizza? Maybe they forgot to include the mushrooms before putting it the oven. Most of the lighting is natural from the windows, which makes it uncomfortable. The only lighting they have is very minimal, could only imagine how dark it is once the sun goes away. 24 of us went here tonight, yes's Friday night! We called ahead and were asked to come at 5 as that was when they could best accommodate us, so we did! There were already several parties waiting, some for tables, some takeout , this little place is obviously popular with the locals. We were coming from a retreat in the area, from several different area. We were sat immediately, in 4 booths, all treated separately,menus given, drink orders taken. Bread and salads, delicious Greek salad, huge , ham and feta plentiful, would have loved more olives! There was no long wait because of the size of the group as each booth was treated as a separate sitting. We had been told they could not sit us together and we were fine with that! Boy did it work well. Not one of us could eat all of the gigantic servings. I had spinach calzone, good, personally would have liked less sauce and more spinach! But hot, authentic. Others at the table had pasta, lasagna, chicken parm... all were more than satisfied. Service was amazing!! You had to pay in the front of the house, it was a zoo! Our waitress actually got a back up unit to run our check s/ payments. It would have been a better traffic flow decision to pay from the table... it was very crowded.
