We've always enjoyed coming to Vincent's Italian Restaurant--pizza and meatballs are consistently fantastic, and it's been a reliable spot for our regular "Pizza Friday" rotation. Unfortunately, this visit left us a bit disappointed. We later noticed that a 20% gratuity had already been added to each of our tabs, which was not clearly disclosed. As a result, we unknowingly left our usual 20% tip on top of that. We absolutely respect and support fair compensation for servers, but automatic gratuity should be clearly communicated upfront. When we casually mentioned it--without asking for anything to be removed--the response we received felt dismissive. More concerning, our waitress (Becca) then appeared to discuss the situation with another table in a way that felt unprofessional. We still appreciate the quality of the food and have enjoyed many visits here, but transparency and professionalism matter. Since we rotate local restaurants for our weekly outings, experiences like this do influence where we choose to return. read more

We had the pleasure to sit in Amy's section. She was super informative and hospitable. We started with the Italian wedding soup and a Cesar salad. The soup was delicious- 9/10, add more add more meat, a little bit of salt on it to make it a more meat and a pinch of salt to get to a 10. I had the carbonara (gluten-free) and it was FANTASTIC 10/10. The trio was great to 8/10 (the sauce overtook the entrees). The restaurant decor is literally like being in four different restaurants in one building. I'm glad I read the yelp reviews. They didn't disappoint and I will definitely be back again.. plenty of parking and check their weekday and lunch specials. read more

OMG, what a treat!! We came in from out of town & just chose Vincent's a bit randomly and a bit based on previous ratings. What a delicious delicious meal and what wonderful service we received! We were celebrating a girlfriend's wedding & Jo was a dream server who helped make the occasion even more special. And the food... That Vinzo dip was amazing, I could've drank it down!! Everything we ordered was fabulous & we could definitely taste the fresh ingredients... and the soup - shrimp/lobster bisque - was probably one of the best soups I've ever had. Newly remodeled, this classic sit down Italian joint has a beautiful new dining room. It's a little bit of a drive for those near central or east Orlando being that it's way out 441 basically in Mt. Dora, between 46 and Zellwood. The map says Tangerine which sounds much cuter, but most people have a general idea where Mt Dora is. The menu includes the staples you'd expect and they're bountiful, delicious dishes that will have you looking forward to your next visit when you can try more. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and ziti. I also had the wedding soup and it was truly amazing with the proper little pastas and meatballs. Mmmmm The young lady that served us was very friendly and eager to ensure we were happy. To top it off their special dessert was a Toasted Almond cake that ended up being BOGO so they even have deals too. They also have a private room available with very reasonable rates according to my inlaws that recently had a party of about 20 people there. So take a stroll out west of Orlando and make a stop to or from your visit to Mt. Dora or the Antique Mall. You won't regret it! read more

My wife and I came back to Vincent's for the first time in 19 years to celebrate our anniversary, and honestly--it was perfect. We lived in the area back in 2005-2007 and Vincent's was one of those places that just stuck with us. You always wonder if places you loved years ago will still hold up... especially these days. Thankfully, Vincent's absolutely does. The food is still wonderful--rich, flavorful, and comforting in that nostalgic way that reminds you why you fell in love with it in the first place. Nothing felt watered down or "modernized" for the wrong reasons. It felt familiar, intentional, and genuinely cared for. Change isn't always progress. Sometimes staying loyal to who you are is the real win--and Vincent's has clearly done that. We left happy, full, and grateful that this place is still exactly what we remembered. The service was wonderful, the decor looks like an old authentic Italian restaurant, and the food was very good. My only gripe is that the lasagna had way too much meat. It wasn't ground up and mixed into the sauce. It was like a full hamburger type layer in it. I'm not sure if I'm explaining that correctly, but that's how it appeared. The service is always great. The food, even greater. We went for a Mother's Day dinner and had a wonderful time. The manager visited our table but we had nothing but compliments. The best pizza and pasta in town we used to come here many years ago and stopped, but after new management, we decided to try it again and are hooked the Pizza is definitely comparable to New York Pizza. The service is always excellent. The servers are always attentive, and the place is always packed so get there early. We'd love to get a large pizza with extra cheese and Italian sausage. What we don't eat there we bring home and eat the next day and it is just as good as if I was at the restaurant again very addictive. The cannolis are my wife's favorite. I was just there yesterday and will be back more than likely on Tuesday. We try to hit them up three times a week. read more

Good food but the server was obviously a rookie. He wasn't familiar with the daily specials and wasn't listening to anything we had to say. He did get most of our order was right though. We asked to sit away from most of the other diners but not 5 minutes after we were seated they sat about 20 older guys near us. They weren't too loud but it could have been bad. read more

A frequent stop on a good place to go. However... we went a bit later than our normal hr. Not really busy but a steady crowd. Lots of large parties for a Sat .. so wait was expected. Once seated service was slow. Waiter did not get the drinks correct, took a long time for salads to arrive. When main course came out two dishes were cold. Salad had wrong dressing. For the last few years, we have enjoyed dining at Vincent's Italian Restaurant. We have actually become regular again at Vincent's since April began managing. She has effortlessly, accommodated any size group from 2 to 20 sometimes even on short notice. Her willingness to meet our requests has promoted the restaurant for each or us. Her personal interest in myself, my wife and many of our dining friends by remembering names and conversations has endeared us to Vincent's and April! We made a last minute dinner decision to go out to eat with our family. We had never tried Vincent's before and decided to give it try! When we arrived we waited for 30 minutes and they sat our big family towards the back which was nice because we had small children. Our server was also extremely helpful and nice I wish I had remembered her name! I absolutely adored this place and ended up winning a gift card, so I was excited to come back. The girl up front seemed confused, but it was taken care of very quickly. There is an older woman, who've I've seen on previous visits who walked me to my table. She was not friendly and seemed to care less I was there. She showed a lot of love to the regulars/church crowd who came in. My friend showed up 10 minutes later and brought the same lady up and how rude she was. Talk about old Florida. This is it! I'm not sure how long Vincent's has been on Orange Blossom Trail, but it's not near anything now. We have tasted their pizza, very good. But the dish we always order is Carbonara. Their's is terrific and plentiful. The garlic knots use lots of jarred diced garlic. We prefer fresh garlic, so we ask for the bread not be drenched in garlic butter, but to be without any butter. It's very good. Pierre is who we try to get as our server, but everyone that works there is so friendly. If you haven't been, give them a try. I think you will like it. read more

There were 6 of us. We got a lot of different food. Started with an appetizer of calamari which was cooked just right. Mostly rings with about of the leg parts. There was a veal parmigiana, a salad, 3 Cajun chicken Alfredo. The chicken was cooked about right and sauce was about right except for do much garlic for my taste. Rolls were fresh and nice size. Super busy on an early Friday evening, but I can see why! We got seated relatively fast despite the crowd at a roomy table for our family of 4. We ordered two pizzas, plain cheese for the kids, white for my husband, and a Chicken Parm sub for me. Everything came out within a reasonable time and was super fresh. The pizza sauce on the plain cheese had a ton of flavor, super unexpected! Everything was so good, the kids were happy, us parents were happy, and we will definitely be back. Tried Vincent's for the first time with my cousins and it did not disappoint. Definitely grab an order of the garlic knots because they are SO delicious. You might end up ordering more. We also ordered the Eggplant Parm, the Cajun Chicken & Spinach Alfredo, and the Carbonara Pizza. Everything was so delicious but my favorite was probably the pasta! My favorite dish, chopped clams in white sauce. Where I come from, it's white wine sauce. Since I can't get clams here, I go to Vincent's. Unfortunately, they are inconsistent in making the sauce. The last time I was there, there was no olive oil or garlic in the recipe. It was so diluted, it was like eating pasta water. Even the garlic knots had no garlic. Very disappointing! read more
