We decided to give it one more chance for our last dinner -- and I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing. We genuinely enjoyed every single plate we ordered. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared -- no complaints at all. The staff was great and very attentive throughout the night. And they even had a good spicy sauce! I have Mexican friends who love their food extra spicy, and this sauce definitely delivered. The vibe was tropical and beautiful. It's located right by the shore, so you get a nice view while you eat. It was the perfect way to end our trip. Honestly, we loved it. You must try their chicken Chicharron And Signature Stuffed Mamposteao!

There was no wait for a table, but it took a good 10 minutes for the waiter to even come to our table. Drinks took about 5-7 min, which isn't bad. We ordered dinner and the wait began. 20 minutes after we ordered, my wife's dinner came out, but mine didn't. She finished her food in about 10 min, my dinner still hadn't arrived. We waited another 30 min (1 hour after ordering) and my meal still hadn't come out. Our waiter never checked on us, never offered us more drinks, never apologized for the wait. After the hour, I walked up to our waiter and told him we were leaving. They did remove the food that never arrived but they didn't seem the least bit apologetic. For a first impression of Puerto Rican service and quality, I would never recommend this place.

Once we made it inside they had a long menu of different items. Was able to order and the food took some time to come out but with how busy it was I knew it would be a while. They don't take reservations but we were gonna go early anyway. We decided that we'd get there at 5:30 PM and allow up to 30 minutes wait time. My friends got there a bit before 5:30 and were seated before I arrived. I got there a bit after 5:30 and there was a line of people trying to put their names down as I was walking in. They had already ordered drinks and an appetizer. We ordered another app and put in our entree orders. The bacalaitos took about 30 minutes to arrive. They were delicious. Not too salty which was great. The entrees took over 30 more minutes to come. I ordered the paella and it was delicious. My friend thought her mofongo was just ok. I tried a bite and it was kinda bland. The kids thought their entrees were ok. I thought they didn't make the right choices. Service was OK. Server wasn't really present as the majority of our time there was waiting vs eating. That was true for most patrons. Most people seated at tables were waiting instead of eating. Not sure if there was an issue that night. Either way, I'd say that it's still a good spot. You just can't come hangry or in a hurry.

Normally when I'm on vacation, I start to get a little homesick towards the end, but I decided to make the best of it. I wanted to try some tequila--even though I should've done a rum tour instead, but I didn't feel like being a pirate! So, I stumbled across this place, and the only thing that lured me in was the happy hour and the music. I was feeling a little down to leave the beach, so I figured the happy hour would make me happy, and that's exactly what it did. The decor made me feel as though I was right on the beach with my brown toes sinking in the sand, Ray-Bans catching a tan. The food was amazing, the staff was good, and of course, the drinks were popping. They normally say alcohol is a downer, but for me, it was the opposite! It brought me right up where I needed to be--3,000 feet in the clouds on my Frontier flight. The bathrooms were clean and, of course, the establishment was as well. I highly recommend this place. A good thing to know is that I didn't have to rush to the bathroom and my stomach didn't hurt after I ate. The food settled well, which means the food is clean and everyone is washing their hands! I hope my review helps you choose where to eat next! Branden-Lee AKA B L E E

The artwork on the walls adds a fun, inviting vibe to the space. That said, the restroom could definitely use some attention--it wasn't very clean, and we noticed a few roof leaks. We ordered the flautas, which were delicious. My friend tried the catch of the day tacos, choosing the sautéed option over fried. Unfortunately, she didn't enjoy them at all and only took one bite. According to her, the flavor was off enough that she couldn't finish the dish. We didn't sample much from the menu or order drinks, so it's hard to give a comprehensive review, but this was our experience from last week.

Upon entering the restaurant we got seated immediately. We sat outside on the patio because the view is phenomenal. It took awhile for the waitress to come out and take our order.
