    2 chicken tamales. Yummmmm
    Amy B.

I'm in tamale heaven! December is the month for tamales and even though I can make my own, it takes so much time. My husband was lead to this market for their tamales and they are large!!!! Not too spicy either. Chicken was my family favorite. We ate a dozen in 3 days! We will be back soon!

My wife had been wanting to go here for quite sometime. We love eating at places like this, and we weren't disappointed. Well, sort of. I'll get to that. First off, as others have said, it's an eatery located in a grocery store. Don't let that scare you away. And we were able to get a good parking spot. But, we did have trouble ordering because the girl who served us didn't speak English. Fortunately, there was a nice gentleman in line with us who helped us with our order. The only reason I bring that up is because another reviewer said that they all speak English here. Not necessarily true. Now to the food. I have been looking for amazing chile verde in Utah county, and I finally found it. I ordered the chile verde in a combo with rice, beans and tortillas. Wow!! It was so good. Some of the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the chile relleno in a combo. I couldn't eat it because the sauce tasted fishy. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting. She enjoyed it (but ended up eating more of my food). The relleno was the only negative of the meal. We will definitely be coming back here and making it a regular stop. Good food, reasonably priced. And a very relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely love this little market! They have everything. Great bakery, fresh meats, hot prepared meals. Isles of great candies and foods. I was like a kid in a candy store. What a awesome market.

    Yummy soup!

The food here is delicious and the place is clean. I ate one of the best cocidos I've had so far .... other then the one I make at home of course. The portions are very generous and modestly priced. If you are craving Mexican food , this is the spot!

Been here a few times already, it's just a tad further than I'd like it to be. The store itself is…read morepretty packed with food from aisle to aisle, and aisles are pretty narrow to begin with so if there's two of you in passing in one aisle, one, has to back out or else they would be invading your intimate space. However, this store has tons of variety of food from Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Thai, and Korean too. I'm pretty happy with what you can get here, especially having it be in Utah County (which lacks Asian grocery stores). I did come here last week and stocked up on snacks, Asian sauces, and other necessities. I did notice though, after I got home, that one of the items I purchased (ground chicharon = grinded up pork rinds) had the "sell by" date of May 2020 - say WHAT?! I was just there last week to buy this (November 2020). This item has been on the shelf for 6 months passed the "sell by" date. I'm assuming the "sell by" date of May 2020, means that maybe a week or two, it will then be no longer "fresh" to eat, therefore, why is it still on the shelf for purchase? In addition, I asked a young employee there to see if they carried it, and he said no. Two minutes later, I found it myself. Huh. So....this leads me to believe that: 1. The employees are not fully aware of what they carry and sell. 2. They don't frequently check shelves and expiration dates of items they are selling. It's great and all that this Asian grocery store exists in Utah county, but I think it needs improvement on the management side. Again, this store is not super close to home, so this is a money loss for me since I'm choosing to not drive 18+ miles one way to exchange/return this item (I bought 2 bags of it). If they kept their shelves up to date, this wouldn't have been an issue.

The first Asian store in Provo, UT. I can find everything I need in our hotpot party.read more
