Awesome food, great drinks- tostada de ceviche was really food and the camarones a la diabla were . Definitely recommend.

Wow! We randomly picked this place off of yelp because the pictures of the food looked good. We are so glad we stopped and will definitely be back. The service was friendly and quick. The food was pretty good, but they charged me twice for it by accepting cash for 2/3 of a split bill, and then charging the full amount to the card instead of just the order being paid. Double check your reciept/online bank if paying with plastic. Won't be going back. read more

Today at just before noon we ordered to go. We ordered two single chicken enchilada plates and one carne asada plate. We got one chicken enchilada plate and the carne asada plates. They contained a few tablespoons of beans and a 1/4 cup of rice. Paying for a missing meal and so little food we won't be back. We came from out of town before and the meal was good. read more

It's rather special that they serve a bean dip as a free appetizer. It's more of a whipped bean slop to be honest. Don't order the "Super Burrito" for it is far too super & packed with meat, & it wasn't very good meat. Try ordering my old faithful combo next time. The A/C was not working it was hotter inside then outside just terrible! On top of that the waitress was super rude and unprofessional, waited 30 min just to get our order! I got to the restaurant a bit late, around 8:30. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. As others stated, chips and 3 dips are brought to the table. I've heard a lot of positive feedback from my friends about this restaurant, and I like Mexican food, so I finally had the opportunity to try it. First of all, the place is really nice, clean, and pristine, which is nice. Our waitress was pleasant, but not overly-friendly, which was fine. Their prices are cheap and fair. They have great menu choices. I enjoyed their chips; they tasted fresh. I liked the salsas the waitress brought to our table. I ordered a chimichanga, and it was lacking. It was filled with rice and beans and the meat I chose (carne asada) was literally nonexistent. The meat I did eat was really, really chewy and it was off-putting. Also, for a burrito that is deep fried, there was no crunch at all. All of the cheese was on the very bottom. I asked for a side of rice and beans and the rice was overcooked and the beans were incredibly runny and watery. The good thing about this place is that everything is and looks fresh, but the execution needs to be worked on. We came to try this new spot since El Azteca was packed. They seated us right away and you could tell they were trying to be very attentive and welcoming, but they still have some kinks to work out. We never got our waters and my order was wrong. We had cheese and chicken enchiladas and a veggie burrito. The veggie burrito was huge, but not very warm and full of mostly lettuce. The enchiladas were pretty good, but lacking a little flavor. There is no pico de gallo, only regular red hot sauce as well as a small molcajete of beans, which was different. There were multiple televisions on the walls, giving it a casual vibe, as those were louder than the music. I would like to see them try for a little more atmosphere, which is much needed in Ukiah Mexican food eateries. However they have a nice big seating area and decent food, so I'm sure I'll give them another shot! read more

The food here was fabulous, my husband and I ate dinner here and everything was made there even the tortillas. We have not had food in northern ca to rival San Diego until now. Stopped by for an early dinner at 5 on a Friday. Just had water which came with a lemon slice on the edge of the glass. I had #12, relleno, tamal, rice, beans and salad. The tamale was great, quite spicy with a perfect ratio of meat to masa. The relleno was also spicy, battered and sauced. The rice and beans were also quite good. My companions also enjoyed tacos and an enchilada. We all were pleased with the meals we ordered. This place deserves another look. read more

One of the best deals for Mexican in Ukiah, but the go-to dish her is absolutely the molcajete, which I order every time I come up, but you should really have a friend to share it with. In from out of town and the motel manager suggested this place. Not bad at all. I had the Chile Verde plate pork was very tender and full of good flavor. I like it a little bit spicy but this had a citrus (lemon or lime) flavor that was a nice surprise. Service was spot on. Didnt need to salt beans or rice it already had good seasonings. Stopped in for some authentic Mexican food. I told the waitress this was our first time here, and what does she suggest we have, she suggested the Molcalete. Their signature dish. This was a steaming hot pig shaped bowl, made of lava rock. Filled with chicken, steak, and shrimp. With vegetables served in this amazing sauce. Also served with refried beans and rice sour cream, guacamole and tortillas. More than enough food for two. This was way better than we expected. Food and service were great. We ordered the Mas Mucho Burrito and they came out about 2 feet long!! Enough to feed a small army. Definitely couldn't finish it all. But if you manage to eat the entire thing- you don't pay for it and they take your picture. We didn't know that challenge upon placing our order and definitely didn't expect such a huge burrito. The service was fast.. But we had like 5 different people getting us drinks, bringing out our food, and talking to us. So we were not sure who our waiter actually was..
