I went to visit this Taqueria and it had Good food at a decent price. Everything was fresh and our drinks were nice.

Cold overcooked chips, wrong order and they don't care. Overpriced fried gross food!

Took the kids out to eat. Kids burrito was perfect for our little guy Nachos had great flavor and perfect to share. Had a crispy taco combo and it was super flavorful. Service was great and she was alone. Thank you we will be back. read more

HUGE portions! My husband ordered the burrito supreme. The guacamole came on the side with sour cream. I liked that as it's usually just a tiny bit in the middle. Nope, now it's spread throughout. They smother the burritos in sauce! YES! I love that! I ordered a taco salad that was gigantic. There was so much meat in my yummy salad. The order came with chips & salsa too! Awesome! I have been eating here for well over 25 years now and its still one of the best traditional Mexican food places in Ukiah. The owner and staff are all kind and professional and will go out of their way to make sure you are a happy customer. My most recent late breakfast with a friend was no exception, case in point my friend who had not been in before, literally asked our waitress if they could prepare a special breakfast he liked from interior Mexico that was NOT on their menu and her response was yes. Even his requesting of specific ingredients was accommodated. Needless to say about 15 minutes later his custom requested breakfast appeared and it was in his own words "better than he makes himself" which just goes to show that great restaurants that make it this long are something special. The owner is very present and in the restaurant most days, even taking time to stop by our table to say hi again and meet my friend - telling my buddy, that he and I have known each other for several decades and thanked us both for stopping in again. Worth the drive we went for Taco Tuesday this week for the third time and I just had to make a review!! I love the options here for vegetarians!! The helpings are huge, so go hungry... They are very attentive to your needs and are able to help you make the best choice for you!! Their beans are so delicious a mix of whole beans and mashed beans so good!! Crispy chips!! My husband had the chilaquiles and ate every bite!! My mother in law had the vegetarian burrito full of fresh vegetables and cheese. And I had cheese enchilada Verdes loved the tangy sauce and it is the only place that I can have this sauce in town so I really enjoyed it!! For me it's my favorite in town especially because they do make me a special pico de gallo because I can't eat onions! Been a while since I've been in but I love this place! The burrito mojado is soooo good! And friendly service too.

Taqueria Michoacán is one of the best Mexican joints in town and you would be a gosh darn fool to not stop by here and give your patronage! They have plenty of plate options but I usually just go for the burritos. They also have they lovely wet burritos (MOJADO) and you'd be a gosh darn fool to not try it while you're there! Just go ahead and order it with your other meal and gorge yourself until you can't move. Once you have achieved this, you are now trapped and must order more food in an vicious, endless cycle that will leave your tastebuds in heaven. Your stomach however... Anyway! I understand for some that is a huge red flag, but I figured it's from the grill... (unless if there's no grill then I'll question the sanitation) If you're hungry, this will do. If you're looking for gourmet food, not the place to be. Variety in the menu could improve, but I understand this is catered towards predominantly white, local demographic. Trying to find a restaurant to eat on my way to my son's baseball game at Mendocino College. You can miss restaurant easily as the sign is hard to see but I saw and made a u-turn. My mom and i had a pleasant experience. The ladies were nice servers, answered our question for recommendations and took our orders, which we both took her advice. Ordered shrimp taco combo for lunch and was so delish! Perfect serving size too. Tasty and left full. Plenty of shrimp in one taco too. Fresh home made chips and good salsa that wasn't spicy. Stopped here on the way home and was craving a Mexican breakfast. I was very impressed, really nice workers, super tasty salsa and homemade chips. The salsa was sort of chunky with lots of cilantro and some oregano, yum. I ordered the machaca with carne asada and the carne asada was very flavorful and meaty but not tough texture. We had an EXCELLENT meal at this place last night. It's a family run business that's been there for decades, the service is great and so is the food. Straightforward delicious authentic Mexican food, at fair prices. The tamales and chips salsa are house made. Probably other things, too. I also saw a lot of Togo orders going out, on a Saturday night. Plenty of seating in the casual dining room. My husband had the spicy green chili pork plate, it was spicy hot and delicious. This place must be really hit-or-miss. Contrary to so many of their reviews, I gotta say this was the worst food I've had from a restaurant in a long time. I stopped by in between jobs because it was the closest place. The restaurant wasn't busy. I ordered a shredded chicken torta to-go. Then waited maybe 15 minutes or so before I went to the counter and saw a go-to box in the window. I asked if that was mine and the lady said, "Lemme check". She peeked inside and... sho 'nuff. It was. I opened the box and found HUGE mound of beans, lettuce, tomato, chicken and avocado between a dry and crumbly torta roll. Weird note: The bottom slice of bun was cut in half, but the top wasn't. Not having a knife, I tore it in half. :( Nutshell: The torta, a sandwich, was nearly impossible to pick up. I've been going here for over 15 years...Not eating here for the ambience or decorations...food is excellent, staff is friendly...right down the road 5 min from where I work... they have excellent food they also prep each day and sell on their food trucks...I suggest the large burrito with the choice of meat beans etc..they have an excellent Sea Food Cocktail with fish, shrimp and octopus too...anyways, traditional, authentic and simple... It started with the place being empty during lunch time, then the flys everywhere, and I knew it wasn't gonna be good when I watched my order go in the microwave for 5 minutes. The rice is dry my burrito came with beans on the side but oddly none in the burrito even tho it's a vegetarian burrito. It also has weird hot white sauce on it. Idk. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant since I was 9. The food is always good no mater what you get. This is one of the cleanest restaurants in town. My family has become friends with the family that owns this establishment and the service is always great even when there are new employees. This is a the real thing. A Mexican restaurant the could be in Mexico! The food is that genuine homemade by mamacita and cooked with love and lots more. The Chili verde plate was a nice size and the meat was quite tender. The peppers had been cooked to full breakdown and we flavorful indeed. Nothing to spicy or to bland, just flavorful.
