Don't come to this restaurant!!! It's literally nasty. I ordered nachos. I was so hungry and I thought that that would be good. It gets delivered to our table and it was a runny, sloppy, watery mess. We also ordered a wet burrito. That did not happen. It came dry and mainly filled with lettuce and cilantro. They said that they can give salsa to put on top of it???!!! Salsa??? Arrived in Ukiah for work and needed some lunch. Saw Lalo's by chance and just had a feeling it would deliver. I had the breakfast burrito, and oh my goodness was it good! It was no-frills, good quality and size and fairly priced... and you can't go wrong with their homemade tortillas! For me, that's what takes this to 5-stars. It's an order at the window kind of place, but you can do so inside, where there is some seating, or stick to the outside window and seating. Both were comfortable. I have been here twice. The first time the service was great and the food was great. I ate outside. It was hot, but there was a nice breeze and it was in the shade. I ordered a carnitas plate. The portions and the price are decent. A few days later I went back because I enjoyed my experience. I ordered the same thing. Service was ok that day (the lady seemed new). My food was good. Living in the Bay Area we have some great authentic Mexican food so I was a little weary, but went with it. We had to take our dog for a walk, so this was a good way to get out of the hotel room after a long 96 plus degree weather all day and it was finally cooling down. We were greeted by a friendly young lady. Our dog immediately wanted to say Hi, so she jumped and put her two front paws on the counter (outside). The worker must be a dog person because she made some funny jokes with us that she wanted tacos and a beer too. She was super friendly, told us what was popular, etc. The outside seating area had a ton of tables, but only a few were clean. The young lady came out and cleaned off our table (even though it was a clean one) and then bussed and cleaned off the rest. Where were the other workers? No clue, but this girl hustles and deserves a raise. My mister ordered the tacos and the carnitas was in fact delicious. It had just the right amount of crunch, although I only tasted a sliver of it. I don't eat a lot of beans, but their beans were very good. There's no way it's vegan as some of the reviews on here says it might be. My ceviche was good and fresh, a little added heat which was nice. I will tell you that I have had much better, which leads me to the 3.5 rating on food. But if we are ever passing through again, or if you're reading this and passing through, Lalo's is a good place, go check it out. read more

I've eaten here 4 times so far and the food is excellent. You also get a lot if food for the cost. They have a salsa bar located in the inside seating area, and all 3 of their fresh homemade salsa's are excellent. There's an outside seating area too that is spacious. read more

As it is close to our house it's great for pick up. We normally get the asada super burrito, but my other favorite is the ceviche tostada.

We're going to have to make this a short review as there were some circumstances behind health issues under my part that would not give this a fair review for the quality of food. We will have to say that the service was friendly and fast food quality was very good for what I could taste, and I made sure that we were taking care of during our visit there at the restaurant. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat we would definitely recommend this location. Their food is okay at best and can be enjoyed, there's just so many places in Ukiah with better authentic Mexican food. Came here last week, they have a huge menu with a few veggie items. I asked and they said there's no lard in the refried beans, yay! I got a veggie burrito with no cheese and no sour cream and it was somewhat bland but once I put some of their yummy verde salsa on it from their little salsa bar it tasted spicy, just the way I like it! Unfortunately I think their guacamole might have had sour cream or something in it because it was too liquidy to be just avo, I will definitely ask next time. Take out order is typically ready for pick up within 10 minutes. Their horchata is delicious as well.
