Ordered the "cougar" breakfast burrito. It says bacon, sausage and potatoes . You would think you're getting all ingredients ,but only get eggs and potatoes

The restaurant is close by my daughter's house so we got lunch there this afternoon. I had the Tacos al Pastor and my wife had chicken enchiladas. The Tacos al Pastor were dry but tasted ok. The sides, however, seemed like something you would get out of a can. The high point was actually the chips. I might eat here for convenience but nothing else.

Thankfully, Yelp absolutely came through clutch (as it usually does) and led us to Our Breakfast Place. We intentionally tried to time things to beat the post-church crowd and I think we mostly succeeded... though there was still a little bit of a wait. Thankfully, this place is absolutely worth the wait! The restaurant was bustling and busy but still had a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The menu was extensive with tons of tempting breakfast options, the prices were very reasonable to me, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress was so kind and friendly and even the women seated nearby struck up conversation with us while we waited for our food. It just had that warm, community-oriented breakfast spot vibe. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes which were a seasonal special and wow, they were fantastic. Sweet but not overly so, fluffy, flavorful, and the combo also came with an egg and I chose two slices of bacon. All delicious and certainly plenty filling. The coffee was strong too, which I greatly appreciated. All in all, this was a five-star breakfast experience and the kind of local spot I love discovering while traveling. If I'm ever back in Waco, I'd happily return.

The place was at the end of a shopping strip. The restaurant was bright and typical to any breakfast restaurant Our waiter was nice and answered our questions. I like that they have smaller portions and regular portions. I order the small french toast and with poached egg and sausage. It was just enough since I cutting back, you may need regular portion for a big appetite. Overall it was decent. The food came out quickly and the price was good. I forgot to take pics.

My husband and I chose a traditional breakfast to split with an extra sausage patty. You have to try their sausage. They make their own patties and they are delicious, a little spicy, but delicious. Eggs were scrambled with extra herbs and seasoning, also delicious. My daughter was able to "make her own", which is unusual unless it's an Omelette so this was a nice alternative for someone who likes breakfast but not necessarily eggs and her husband ordered a Chorizo bowl which looked delicious (even though I'm not a Chorizo fan) and he said it was very good! Definitely recommend and would definitely return. They also have cute stickers for us road trippers.

( vegan coffee cake !) BEST vegan cold biscuit I've ever had ! Not kidding , herby savory and all the things you want a biscuit to be except ours was COLD .. The only con here is that line , not enough staff for this kinda rush and there was NO dedicated staff member to take orders . You're supposed to order , seated , etc etc . However the gal was doing 100 things so could only come to front to take an order about once every 10 min which was wild . After standing there for what felt like forever in line I finally realized to-go orders had priority so I placed my order online on my phone in line ;) . Boom order up faster than that line and wait would have taken . Bummer we couldn't sit inside the restaurant . Definitely a must try but make sure to order ahead of time .

Th menu has so many great options, so I went with the special, chicken fried chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes, okra and toast. I am not a huge gravy person so got it on the side. The proportions were the perfect size, not too little and definitely not overwhelming. Everything was excellent and cooked to perfection. I had the sweet tea and it was wonderful as well. My co worker had the fish plate, she is a connoisseur of fish and said it was wonderful. The booths were a good size and customers are able to write with chalk paint pens to leave their mark. The environment was relaxing and fun at the same time. Although the space is smaller, the speed of service and the wonderful staff made it feel big. Will definitely return when I travel through Teague!

Served with a perfect burrata with green pesto that was most divine- fresh as can be. Mocktails are always my choice and there's a blackberry mocktail made fresh intensely flavored berries that's a wow. So being from Oklahoma my favorite meal is fried chicken and mashed potatoes. We split a plate and we were not sorry. The perfect little chicken gravy pitcher- piping hot- w a generous helping of sauce served two easily. For desert there's an extensive selection ( including strawberry shortcake) but we opted for just plain latte made impeccably. Congratulations. You've really made America's best restaurant imo! We loved it. Coming from NYC we are spoiled for great food. But you have a 5 star accomplishment in this place. Perfectly wonderful. A million thanks-- what a memorable meal!

Decided yesterday that we were wanting to come for breakfast. We don't live far, but we checked…read moreonline the night before and saw there were still a ton of reservations available all morning, all weekend long. So we figured there would be no issue when we showed up at 7:45am on a Friday, with plenty of reservations available, as a party of 3. The hostess told us "we're not accepting walk-ins, because we have reservations booked." The reservations were all booked at 9:00pm last night, huh? Well I'm standing here in front of you, a paying customer, and I can glance around the entire restaurant and tell you it's not even half full. This is now the 2nd time we've been turned away by the hostess telling us they have no availability in a half-empty restaurant. We have eaten here several times before, and back then the food would be rated 5 stars. The restaurant is always freezing, tables are crammed next to each other, so not the best space for eating, but it is pretty and the food was good. Since you can't actually eat here anymore, that brings it down to 2 stars. We left, 6 minutes down the road is Black Bear Diner, which has excellent customer service and great food. I don't know if Magnolia is trying to pretend to drum up exclusivity still, or just keeping a bare bones staff based on number of reservations, but you're literally lighting money on fire keeping a restaurant open that doesn't accept paying, live customers right in front of you. Why are you paying two hostesses to stand there directing zero traffic except back out the door? No one else was waiting to be seated. A parking lot a quarter full. Empty tables all within sight. You paid them to stand there and send your income away, remember that. A whole empire that you built on designing welcoming spaces to host family and friends - turning people away at the door.
