New favorite as we drive through! I got the Bacon, Egg, & potato! So yummy! We will definitely be coming back! We went through the drive through and love this option! Next time we will have to stop inside! The bacon was cooked perfectly and nice evenly distributed! I added sliced avocado and definitely doing that again it was fresh! Next time I'm going to try the pico! My husband got chorizo, egg, and bean also said it was "delicious, one of his favorite breakfast tacos, 8.5/10, and definitely recommends!" We will be back! Thank you Lolita's!!!

Heck ya...unpretentious spot with great food! We stopped in for some breakfast tacos, great decision, as they were amazing! Apparently, this is not new news to locals as the place was packed with people having friendly conversations. It hits the spot without breaking the bank...great value for what you get. Cool local ambiance, even if you aren't local, you will feel like one! We will be back!

Small family run place, TexMex, friendly staff. Order at the counter. Cookies in the bakery section :) Spicy warm oniony salsa mmmm. Flautas very hot and crisp. Rice and beans good. The beef fajitas were tough and flavorless, though. I'd come back, would like to try a breakfast taco.

Stopped by for breakfast. The tacos were wonderful and salsa was amazing. Everyone who worked there was super nice.

I try to go once a week for breakfast tacos. They are simply the best. Wish they were open 7 days a week.

Thankfully, Yelp absolutely came through clutch (as it usually does) and led us to Our Breakfast Place. We intentionally tried to time things to beat the post-church crowd and I think we mostly succeeded... though there was still a little bit of a wait. Thankfully, this place is absolutely worth the wait! The restaurant was bustling and busy but still had a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The menu was extensive with tons of tempting breakfast options, the prices were very reasonable to me, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress was so kind and friendly and even the women seated nearby struck up conversation with us while we waited for our food. It just had that warm, community-oriented breakfast spot vibe. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes which were a seasonal special and wow, they were fantastic. Sweet but not overly so, fluffy, flavorful, and the combo also came with an egg and I chose two slices of bacon. All delicious and certainly plenty filling. The coffee was strong too, which I greatly appreciated. All in all, this was a five-star breakfast experience and the kind of local spot I love discovering while traveling. If I'm ever back in Waco, I'd happily return.

Thing fast service and Fred Flintstone size portions. Our Breakfast Place is a quintessential neighborhood breakfast place. Complete with numbers on the tables and servers in matching uniforms. The service is incredibly friendly and efficient. The food is stick to your ribs filling and tasty. The portion sizes are worthy of every Texas joke one can conjure up. Best of all, they make their own in-house Gluten Free pancakes and serve Arnold Palmer's with a carafe for at the table refills. I love this place!

This visit was for breakfast, and the amount of options made made it difficult to choose. Enter our waitress, Alli, who helped us through that part and took great care of us while we were there. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, friendly & witty without ever being obtrusive. And I could hear that she was the same with each of the tables near us. This review and 5 Star rating are for Alli who I think must surely be the best server in Waco.

I reviewed BBD a year ago for the first time after their initial opening and gave them high marks. Like so many places, though, BBD has not maintained the quality of their grand opening. My wife's broccoli and cheese soup was obviously a mix with very little broccoli, very little cheese, and bland. The tomatoes on my house salad were bad probably old. The corn muffins we received were cold and dense and probably straight from the cooler. Our waitress brought our food then didn't come back until we flagged her down to get our check. She was covering about 5 tables and spent most of her time in the kitchen. A runner brought our food out. It seems that Black Bear is going through that inevitable drop in quality that comes with an inability to sustain continuity in their kitchen and wait staff. Hopefully they will work through this problem and return to the quality we are have come to expect over the last year.
