This was an amazing experience. The passion fruit and coconut mojito was amazing. The penne Alfredo pasta with shrimp was creamy flavorful and they give you pretty good size Shrimps. Esto antes era un restaurante completo pero ahora es solo una parte pero igualmente con un vista espectacular. Frituras de toda clase y un menú para que el que desea algo. My second time coming here, after almost 3 years. The ambiance is awesome, with fantastic beach views! Food is tasty, had a crab and a "chapin"empanadillas. I also had a piña colada with 151 Don Q. I recommend this place. It's a great stop to refuel food wise before a nice road trip. read more

Hello all Visited on December 19th. with my wife and sister in law. Menu is very limited. , Arroz Mamposteao nor Rice & Beans were available due to lack of beans. Are you kidding ? There are beans available all over places close to them. No vegetables even. Food was horrible , all 3 plates. Ordered a mahi mahi fillet , tasted more like a grouper with some skin left on it and salty. Fried sweet bananas were overcooked in what could be overused oil. Other 2 main dishes Grouper filled with Shrimp and Shrimp in garlic sauce also salty. Service was below average as we were not served water even when we asked once. 1 Star is because of the view. In total wasted $106.00 Avoid this place until they get their act together. read more

The best mofongo I've had so far. The mofongo can be eaten plain that's how tasty it is. I'm not a big steak fan but this churrasco was super tender, juicy and very very tasty. Best dinner I've had in Puerto Rico so far. When we arrived, the parking lot was full and the outside seating was busy, but inside was quiet and relaxing and had a beautiful coastal view. Our waitress didn't speak much English but did fine comprehending our orders. I ordered the vinaigrette salad with chicken and my boyfriend got the skirt steak with chicharron sauce. We shared a side of tostones because they were out of seafood stuffed tostones. It was all delicious! If I lived here I would come back again and again! Prices were also decent!! Probably the best mofongo I've tried in PR. I'm from here. The service is impeccable. The whole experience is amazing. We had the mofongo balls, incredible. We had the ensalada de marisco, incredible. We had the mofongo relleno de churrasco with chimichuri, incredible. We had the mofongo relleno de marisco, incredible. To find a mofongo that isn't 90% plátano is almost impossible. This is 50% 50%, the perfect proportion. The sauce are crazy good and you can taste they are fresh. This is day four in Puerto Rico. Hands down, best restaurant we've been to. First, view. Breathtaking, overlooking the rest of the hill, beach, and ocean. We came for lunch but I could only imagine sunsets. Second, service. Our waitress was incredible friendly. She spoke English and Spanish which was convenient. Gave excellent recommendations. Third, food. We had the seafood mufongo and fajitas. The mufongo was top notch, moist and filled with just the right amount and variety of seafood. For dessert, our waitress brought us cheese flan. I'm not usually a flan person but this goes in the top desserts I've had period. And last, drinks. The pina colada was a homemade mix. I highly recommend it! The crazy drive up that mountain at night was not the best choice. It's one of those places you can tell locals fancy . Looks like a shack on the side of the road. How can I start this review . Well I'm on vacation at Palmas de Mar with my family and looked on yelp for restaurants in the area . I read the reviews and they received good reviews but don't know if the reviews were done from people who work there because the food was horrible . I should've known that dinner was going to be a horrible mess . The decor doesn't even look like they serve food but I still gave it a chance because it received good reviews . We had the fried calamari and they were like chewing gum , they fried it , the batter was the first thing to come off . We had a seafood paella for $45 and it wasn't worth even $10 . I am from Puerto Rico and went down south to Maunabo for a family trip. In Puerto Rico, finding an open restaurant on a monday is similar to trying to find your bearings on New Years morning, hard as F.....udge. Familia and I saw that this place was open on the way to Maunabo even though online stated they were only open from wed-sun. On our return journey we stopped here for an early dinner and ay dios mio were we satisfied. It is authentic Puertorrican food; they have everything from seafood pasta to mofongo stuffed with octopus to fajitas. Not only does it have a spectacular view of the southern coast, the prices are really affordable as well! They also provide complimentary water and garlic bread at the beginning of the meal. I highly recommend mofongo relleno de pulpo (mofongo stuffed with octopus), its not chewy at ALL! For dessert we had housemade flan de queso ( Cheese flan). The waitress, Mita, was so kind and accomodating. This isn't a fancy place, you pick your own seat and there is an outside patio bar and seating area overlooking the mountains all the way to the coast. Truly spectacular. read more

First off, the views are SPECTACULAR!!! We went on a hazy day but it was still phenomenal! The owner guided us in and helped us park and advised us that both the inside and outside are open. We started to sit outside but realized we might not get service there so we went inside and sat next to one of the large open windows to observe the views. There was a live band playing outside and you could hear it from inside and was very enjoyable. We were Greaters and given a menu and advised of the local drink specials. We ended up ordering a water and diet coke since their special drink was not available as they were out of the syrup mix they use. For dinner we ordered Sopa de Pollo, tostones, French fries and a Chicken quesadilla. Before the dinner we received grilled garlic bread and it was delicious. Shortly after we received our meals. The Sopa de Pollo and tostones were incredible and the French fries were the best on the island so far. My husbands quesadilla was great as well! The atmosphere was intoxicating and the island feel just sinks in here at this quaint place. If you're in the area, this is a must! Also, the owner is really amazing! The best thing about this restaurant is the amazing view. We can even see our house down below in the El Cocal Gated Community. The food is just okay. I usually get the mofongo with shrimp either in garlic butter or creole sauce. The prices are on the high side, especially since the decor is nothing to write home about.
