Best mojito I've had in PR! I ordered the parcha (passion fruit). Not too many vegetarian-friendly options but hey it is PR. Coconut fritters were delicious. I did not taste coconut but they were still very good. Mamposteao was seasoned on-point and I didn't even think about adding hot sauce until half way done. The service was good and although the music was loud, it was entertaining. The evening I went, it stormed and the floors of the restaurant started to flood. But the staff quickly started to sweep and squeegie out as much of the water as they could.

Excellent place to enjoy a good meal with fantastic service. We came to el malecon looking for a nice place to hang out and good food. I am glad we stop at this location for our meal. The area has a lot of little restaurants with window food and while they all look delicious we wanted to try something cooked to order. If you are looking for that... this is the place. We ordered fried whole red snapper with seafood mix, stuffed mofongo with garlic carrucho and corn fritters as an appetizer. The portions are really big specially the fish which it was made to perfection. Hands down the best meal so far during this trip. My mofongo was perfectly seasoned and the carrucho was tender and delicious. The garlic sauce was not overpowering at all it was delightful. The corn fritters just delicious and perfect with mayo ketchup. Listen! This place is just awesome so give them a try. I heard people talking about their mojitos a lot so you people that can drink have one or two or 20 for me. Let me know what you think. I really enjoyed our time there and our server was the best. Love love love... will be back on my next trip and will definitely recommend to other too.

Great view. Friendly staff. Best mojito mango, pineapple. Raymond's service was great. Go where locals go to have fun. Malecon de Naguabo is beautiful. Snorkeling and boat rides available. Stop at La Jungla to get your summer dress or shirt to continue enjoying my beautiful Island in style.

Very good food in a surprisingly modern decor despite its neighborhood surroundings. Our server was great and while we couldn't see the ocean because of a 6 foot wall, we could hear it and enjoy its breeze.

    Big portions.

Fresh, tasty seafood and authentic PR dishes! The mofongo, arepas, pinca coladas and juices are the best on the island!

As we drove into the strip of restaurants by the ocean, we saw Bobby's Place with its open air dining area crowded with people right across from the water. We drove up the strip and walked back towards Bobby's Place. The line was long, always a good sign. We got the fried fish, mofongo with shrimp, and an arepa with shrimp. The fried fish was spectacular, lightly seasoned with salt and lime. We sat listening to the music coming from the street out of all the cars and motorcycles cruising the strip. Quite the experience!

In PR, it is common to have these shacks next to the beaches, malecones, where you can grab something to eat and drink a beer. We arrived here, after going to Monkey Island. We were starving and my father and I wanted to eat somewhere with a breeze and a view to the malecón. We ordered the mofongo con camarones and it was fresh and tasted amazing! They are very generous with the shrimp. If anyone is interested about going to Monkey Island, I went on a tour with "La Paseadora". The captain's name is Frank and he is very knowledgeable about the island, is an ex-Coast Guard captain and speaks English and Spanish fluently. He also does kayak, snorkel, dive and fish. His numbers are: 787-850-7881, 787-316-0441. I went in April 2018, and although the area of Humacao is still messy due to Maria, the malecón area of Naguabo was perfectly fine and ready for tourism again!

El Coral is a combo seafood market downstairs and restaurant upstairs. You take some stairs around the back and you're in a whole different vibe: white walls, breezy blue accents and the wind blowing in just right to cut through that thick, humid air. We were ready to eat and chill and this place delivered. Service was friendly and laid-back but on point. I ordered the stuffed lobster and it came loaded with tender sliced octopus and juicy shrimp. Everything was spot on except the conch. That thing was like chewing on a flip-flop-so I pushed it to the side. My husband got the Chicharrones de Pollo, expecting the usual crispy, seasoned chunks. Instead, they were breaded which is not his thing. Still, the setting more than made up for it. Killer view, solid seafood and a perfect place to come down and grab tasty, garlicky food. Oh and the natural tropical juices like our Passion Fruit and Tamarindo, were outrageously fantastic.

They gave us a selection of sauces which are salad dressings like thousand Island and Italian, but also some that are dipping sauces, and a particular chimichurri that was heavy on cilantro which I particularly enjoyed with the New York strip. Service was also excellent with very friendly waitress. We got a bunch of fruit slushies that were all good and felt like they were made with real fruit juice. It was a cute restaurant with a level on the second floor overlooking into the bay. Nothing special on this island but certainly adds to the dining experience with fresh sea breeze and view.
