Incredible restaurant right across from the water in Naguabo. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is large yet cute, and their cozy rear patio seating Is a vibe. I had the red snapper with arros con habichuelas, coconut arepas and stuffed octopus arepa. I washed it all down with a delicious mango mojito. The Mofongo was great. Not the best I have had but very good and fresh. We ordered 3 w/ shrimps and one with chicken. They all had garlic sauce which was flavorful but the shrimp were better tasting. Don't order the calamari if you expect fresh properly fried food. We ordered arepas but they tried to give us cold sandwiches w/ shrimp in them. We sent it back. The drinks were inexpensive and great tasting. The view of the of ocean was nice and the weather was nice. Bar was a relaxed space with a nice big screen. Was contemplating on not writing this review because of this unpleasant experience since I wanted to just forget about it but it needs to be shared because of how strange it actually was . Going to this place I was with some special people and we were visiting this area for the first time and were happy to find this place and eat a good meal together. It's not the first time to visit the island for my group but we always enjoyed it and we respect anyone we meet , from their culture to their food and never encounter this type of behavior until now. The food was alright . Out of four dishes only one was dry. (The pork) the others were tasty. No complaints for that or our server who did her job . She was not the problem either . The problem was another female server who for some reason I can't understand harassed me because she thought I was taking too long in the restroom after the meal was over and my company paid. As I walked and locked the bathroom door behind me I heard the door knocked and I said it's busy loud enough for the person to hear. The person was quiet for a while and so I went about my business and tried to hurry up. The woman then does two obvious fake coughs to get my attention and then again knocks on the door to which I said again busy because I was almost done . I would have apologized if it was necessary but when I walked out I saw it was a female staff member a server lady who sarcastically said thank you with a grin and kept looking at me and then I just walked away because it felt like she was just playing a game to annoy me like she didn't really need the bathroom . I walked back inside and then saw the same person a few minutes later taking a couple to their table . As she arrives she turns and gives me an antagonistic look with a grin . It felt like a bully who was so satisfied with pissing me off. I just don't understand this type of aggressive behavior. I have no idea why this person would harass a random customer for fun . I didn't pull a Karen and asked for the manager but this experience was so strange I am still trying to figure it out. My company was as confused as I was . Who knows what issues people have . I can't judge her. Maybe she is unhappy , maybe she was just bored, maybe she had deeper issues than that, who knows. But that doesn't mean you try to antagonize and harass a random customer for it. I've never seen this type of behavior in a restaurant before. Definitely do not recommend this place at all. Too hostile, and not worth it, there are other good places around. read more

Best mojito I've had in PR! I ordered the parcha (passion fruit). Not too many vegetarian-friendly options but hey it is PR. Coconut fritters were delicious. I did not taste coconut but they were still very good. Mamposteao was seasoned on-point and I didn't even think about adding hot sauce until half way done. The service was good and although the music was loud, it was entertaining. The evening I went, it stormed and the floors of the restaurant started to flood. But the staff quickly started to sweep and squeegie out as much of the water as they could. read more

The music is pumping and the open lively environment is prime. We ordered Sangria and mojitos to begin. A party of ten is never easy to please but the waitstaff navigated the table with ease. The food all looked delicious being served at other tables but we didn't get a chance to experience it. After waiting for an hour for our food we asked the waitress how much longer it would be as we had a booked event to get to. She said it would still be "a long time", even though it had already been an hour. They did seem busy but we would have loved to have an update prior to hounding down the waitress just to be told it was still going to be a long time before we could get our food. We left hungry and frustrated. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to families with children or others who can't wait several hours for their food. read more

Excellent place to enjoy a good meal with fantastic service. We came to el malecon looking for a nice place to hang out and good food. I am glad we stop at this location for our meal. The area has a lot of little restaurants with window food and while they all look delicious we wanted to try something cooked to order. If you are looking for that... this is the place. We ordered fried whole red snapper with seafood mix, stuffed mofongo with garlic carrucho and corn fritters as an appetizer. The portions are really big specially the fish which it was made to perfection. Hands down the best meal so far during this trip. My mofongo was perfectly seasoned and the carrucho was tender and delicious. The garlic sauce was not overpowering at all it was delightful. The corn fritters just delicious and perfect with mayo ketchup. Listen! This place is just awesome so give them a try. I heard people talking about their mojitos a lot so you people that can drink have one or two or 20 for me. Let me know what you think. I really enjoyed our time there and our server was the best. Needed a spot close to our Air BNB in Naguabo. The food was good but not great, prices we what I would expect to pay in a touristy spot for dinner for 7. I had the Mofongo Camarones. Portions were GENEROUS so that was a bonus even if the prices were higher than I had hoped to pay. Also, the mojito was really good. read more

Food was horrible. So disappointed! I ordered the "stuffed" lobster. It was so salty - the only seasoning was butter and salt. And I didn't like the texture of the lobster. Not sure how fresh it was. I thought my saving grace would be the rice and beans. Horrible too! The beans so salty they were inedible. What makes this experience worse is I took the suggestion of the waitress. I should have went with what I originally ordered. Will never return. Stick to the hole in the wall and/or mom & pop restaurants. read more
