Came here for dinner after doing some shopping in the area. The staff is very nice. The location is clean. Our order came out pretty fast. The food is very authentic and tasted really good. Would definitely come back here again.

Caldo de res 6/10 Pupusas 9/10 Rice 8/10 Beans 8/10 I came in one morning and the caldo was not ready. I finally decided on the pupusa plate. I am glad I did because these were some of the best pupusas I have ever had. The rice and beans are some of the best I have had in a restaurant as well. The caldo de res hit the spot. The vegetables were all soft and there was plenty every vegetable. My coworker says the chicken fajita taco and chicken gordita were very good. I'll definitely stop by any of these locations when I am back in town. Best part is that there are 7 locations around DFW

    Menudo??!!

Never in my life have I ever had menudo with pieces of pork roast. Really really bad idea of whoever thought that this would work but horrible idea. It's not menudo then, it's a combo of pozole/menudo, which I definitely didn't ask for.

So sad and so not worth it. Got a chicken quesadilla for my daughter. It was so plain. No cheese. Forgot sour cream on the side. All Dark meat dried out nasty chicken. Quesadilla and a small drink $11.75!!!!!! You've got to be kidding me.

I'm partially Hispanic, so I know authentic Hispanic food. This is authentic, and homemade! Considering my taste proclivities, I rarely get the ordinary. Instead, I usually order Pozole. Traditional Mexican pozole (posole) is a rich, brothy soup made with pork, hominy, and red chiles. Pile your bowl with toppings like shredded cabbage, radishes, cilantro, lime, and avocado! It was très bien, bahuta acchā, or muy bien. -

We wanted something authentic so we tried this little place for breakfast. It was amazing, so amazing we came back for dinner. I had barbacoa tacos and they were delightful. Try the chips and queso you will thank me later.

Lengua corn tacos with onion cilantro lettuce tomatoes cheese avocado, sour cream and lime :)

This is the only mexican place i go to and the only food i order is the lengua corn taco with EVERYTHING on it. Cilantro onion lettuce cheese avocado sourcream lime . It is more expensive than barbacua or any meat but i like the lengua! Sometimes it depends on who is working- on how they do your plate- if it's substantial or they put few toppings.

They were out of so many things, I finally asked for Milanesa torta which is normally breaded beef/pork they legit gave me A BREADED HAMBURGER PATTY it was disgusting. The lettuce has been there for at least 3-4 weeks. Nasty idk how they're still in business.

Beef enchiladas with barbacoa tacos and carnitas tacos. Really amazing.

The moment she walked in they were ready to seat us. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of our server however he was awesome! Knowledgeable, helped with making decisions, and friendly. We sat long after we were done eating catching up and not once did he rush us out the door, instead he kept coming by refilling our glasses. So in the process of catching up, I dropped the ball and didn't get the pictures i normally would get (I know, rookie mistake) however they have great lunch specials and great prices (my plate was $10 and came with beans, rice, a brisket taco, and a cheese enchilada with pico on the side). When we got seated they also brought chips and each of us our own salsa so I could double dip as much as I liked and put some on my food. Seriously, this was a great lunch and I even had enough to take home and munch on later. Will I go back? Definitely as I need to give the drinks and other dishes a try!!!

Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a letdown. The fajitas seemed like they had been sitting for a while and weren't served as hot as they should have been, and the tortillas were cold. I also felt the food and drinks were a little overpriced for the overall quality. That said, every restaurant can have an off night. Based on the great atmosphere, I'd be willing to give them another chance. Hopefully, my next visit will better match the enjoyable vibe they have going.

There would be about 20 members in attendance. When we arrived, they had our table set up in their "closed in" patio area. What a beautiful meeting space. We met Jessica, our server, for the evening. She was so friendly. I knew we were going to get GREAT service. Since my wife and I were frequent diners of Mexican Inn Cafes, we know what we wanted. My wife ordered the chicken quesadillas. I decided on the "Pick 3." I ordered a cheese enchilada, crispy beef taco and a guacamole chalupa, of course accompanied with rice and beans. To top our dinner off with, two frozen margaritas. Sounds like the perfect combination to me. At Mexican Inn Cafes, you've got to be very careful that you don't overeat their addictive "Frito style" chip, the chips are what they're know for. I've been enjoying them for over 70 years. The margaritas were "on point" and totally delicious. I had to slow down, a couple of times I got "brain freeze" from sipping them too fast. After a short wait, entrees started arriving. My wife loved her quesadillas, and my "Pick 3" was wonderful. I love their guac. Throughout the evening, Jessica took excellent care of our group and all had an awesome time. By the way, Mexican Inn Cafe's has some of the best flan in the area. We all agreed that we'd put the restaurant in our rotation and return again in the future.
