We placed the order of what was missing & the woman was apologetic but didn't cut a break or really do anything for the mistake. We ordered a whole chicken, chicharrones & tostones. We had to reheat (air fried) the tostones cause they were cold and not crispy. The chicharrones also were not hot, sadly. Despite this, the food is flavored well & the service is quick and friendly. I could see why it's called happy chicken, the chicken was happy to be turned into such a delicious meal. First time trying this place and everything had great flavor, especially the beans. The rotisserie chicken is fresh and cooked perfectly. Our to go order was ready within minutes even with a few other customers in there. Also, no trouble leaving my car outside at the empty meter while I ran in real quick. $23 and we fed a family of 4 with some leftover. Not bad! We will be back happy chicken :) read more

I've been going to this spot ever since I was old enough to cross the street by myself. They have great portions and great flavors. I've been to many rotisserie spots but none have chicken as flavorful as here. The rice and other provisions are also very complementary to the chicken so I highly recommend. They tend to run out of certain key items on the menu by the time you get off work so I suggest going earlier in the evening. This is my go to spot for food in this area. Their 1/4 chicken with yellow rice, maduro, and tostones is the absolute best. Everything is fresh, seasoned perfectly, and served hot. You get your food almost immediately. The actual dining area is rather small, and there is a language barrier, but it's not impossible to order. They also have Spanish ice pops by the door that are excellent such as arroz con leche. I got here rather often and they are always consistent with their flavors. And to top it all off they are cheap. For two orders of the chicken and rice with maduro and tostones with two drinks is never more than about $20. Never a bad experience here. I've eaten many a Colombian food in my day -- this place hands-down offers the most delicious and generous portions I've ever encountered. One drawback: The tostones and plátanos maduros were dry. The house salad served with fresh avocado slices and 'cachetes de limón' was a wonderful way to begin the meal. Have I mentioned that the prices are wonderful? We shared the 32 ounce rotisserie chicken, two bowls of red beans, a large plate of yellow rice and 12 plantains for $20!
