Stopped in on a Saturday. Saw the previous review on taking 10 minutes for water - we actually got chips and salsa at 2 minutes and water by minute 8. Food by minute 15. Great tacos with high quality meat and they make their own tortillas and are amazing and authentic.

Food and service were excellent. Pricing seemed a little steep until the food arrived. The quality and flavor of the ingredients in our food was obvious. Best Mexican around! Hands down. I had the pollo la creama and no other place can top theirs.

This place exceeded my expectations. It's like night and day when compared to the last ownership. Friendly staff, and the drinks/food were very good. The Molcajete was perfect! I HIGHLY recommend! We usually love this restaurant and this review is more based on the newer staff and their lack of caring. We ordered takeout about a month ago and when we got home there were items missing.. mistakes happen, I just want to make sure we don't get charged for those items. The man who answered the phone was rude and extremely unhelpful. He gave responses like I'm not sure if you got charged and we ran out of beans so we didn't give you the beans and rice sides.. they could have called and let us know and given us the option to order something else.. this isn't the first time the newer staff hasn't been helpful and it makes us not really want to deal with it anymore which is unfortunate because it was our favorite place. read more

I like to try and support local restaurants. Well unfortunately, tonight was one of the worst meals and experiences in Albany in a long time. I do take staffing shortages and the general business struggles into consideration but tonight was not good. The staff was friendly but the service was very slow and inconsistent. The food was mediocre at best; tasteless and underwhelming. I suggested this place to my husband based on reviews but was exremely disappointed. We will not be going back anytime soon. There are other Mexican restaurants much better in Albany. read more

Ordered a super burrito to split with my friend which was "suppose" to include guac and sour cream and pico de gallo. - The burrito was placed in front of me with nothing on the plate except the rolled up burrito and some shredded lettuce in a little pile. I cut it in half and put half on a plate for my friend. Waiter came back and we asked where is the guac and sour cream? He said they were inside the burrito and asked if we would like some more. Sure, we thought. He left and brought back two bowls. One with an ice scream scoop of guac and one with an ice cream scoop of sour cream. We put a lot of salsa on the burrito because it was real dry. Not only was the food cold there were only 5 beans in mine and a lot of rice and 3 pieces of pork. After eating about half of it, we realized there was NO guac or sour cream inside. Then came the bill.....The "extra" guac was $4.98 and the "extra " sour cream was $3.98. So our cold $10 dollar "super burrito" cost us $19 and change. We did not say anything to the waiter (we should have) but just left a $20 with the bill and left. We were looking for a local Mexican restaurant but one thing is for sure - this is not the one!
