We are doing a road trip from Portland, Oregon down to San Francisco and just decided we wanted Mexican food tonight so I whipped out yelp and this place was on the side of the road and we figured we would give it a try. The food was excellent and very filling. The staff were amazing and up to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Sometimes Mexican places will give you fried ice cream for the birthday. They gave us flan here and it was super good. We ended up ordering a fajita taco salad, super burrito, and a super nacho Also, the place is awesome for ambiance with the painted walls and the music and everything is exactly what you would expect for a good Mexican restaurant

The food here is always a huge portion that is seasoned well and fresh. The drinks are delicious, creative, and fun. The staff is like family. We love this place! It's our regular Monday spot for Margarita Monday!

There's so many bad Mexican restaurants around here I was happy we tried this place out. My steak fajitas burrito was really good. My mom enjoyed her margarita and enchilada. The table side guacamole was good as well. No complaints. The food came out pretty quickly. Went in the middle of the day so it was pretty quiet. Will be back

Out here visiting from California. The few people in town I talked to recommended this place. Very glad I gave it a shot. First impression you know it's gonna be good when they give you beans with the chips! Burrito was large and much Beuno. Service was great. Music was good. Will definitely come back if I'm ever up here again!

Victorico's is a franchise in essentially Oregon with nine locations I could find on Yelp (maybe…read moremore). It appears to parallel the "El Rinconsito" franchise model in Washington State--ie: a full wall of Mexican fast-food options. Driving back from San Diego, CA to Wenatchee, WA, I drove by an earlier location in Springfield and took a picture of it so I would remember the name. Then stopped here in Albany at a much smaller store. I ordered two beef tacos at $4.29 each, just to try them out. I was quite pleased that they were served in a tray with a sliding sleeve. Compared to Taco Bell who purposely wraps their tacos in paper designed to leak down your arm and land on the floor board-- I really appreciated the service in a tray. (See pics) My other complaint about Taco Bell is that their taco shells are paper thin and fall apart in your hand. Not so with Victorico's. I actually ate the Victorico taco without spilling! For the record: - A crunchy beef taco at Taco Bell weighs 2.8 oz and costs $2.18 - A crunchy beef taco at Victorico's weighs 3.4 oz and costs $4.29 (...yup, I weighed them!) Here's what Victorico's is doing wrong. Their ground beef has little or no spice and no binder (tomato based sauce cooked into the meat). All the taco flavor comes from the condiments and a soufflé cup of hot sauce (if you use it). That's a huge oversight. With their huge menu and generous proportioning, they're positioned to leave Taco Bell in the dust. But their taco meat recipe is seriously lacking. (...yes, I'm a trained chef in Mexican cooking and I know you can't judge a whole restaurant by one menu item, but taco meat is at the core of good taste.) ...so I'll give Victorico's the benefit of the doubt at 4-Stars

I bought three mangoadas from this place today. The cups…read morewere literally just mango and a couple drops of the spicy sauce. I called to see if they can remake my order the proper way or refund me they wouldn't. This is the second time this has happened. This place does not value their loyal customers and they're full of greed. They told me I've had it for three hours it's too late. I explained to them how I was not home. My husband picked them up and put them in the freezer. When I arrived home. I went to grab one and realized it was just mango. I know it had nothing to do with the time because I told them they have not been touched. I can bring them back in to show them or send them a picture through text message. They refused. I spend so much money here every day breakfast burritos, mangoadas and this is how they treat people. Never again. They make purchases half ass to save money, give it to us and when we complain they won't fix it. This is exactly why people feel the way that they do your advertising one thing, and it's another. Steal by charging us high rates. When we complain that It's not what they advertised they treat us like we are lying, trying to get over on them or trying to steal from them. All while stealing from us.
