Awesome drinks, great food! Came with a party of 16 and they were super accommodating! Great customer service! The enchilada plate, shrimp fajitas, and hard shell tacos were tasty. The orange/carrot juice was fresh and refreshing!

This place is phenomenal! Phe-no-me-nal! The food is delicious, the staff is attentive and personable, and the environment is vibrant. My guy says the french fries are "the best hes had" and for me I love the caldo de pollo soup. There is also fun Mexican candy and churros as well. The portions are huge and youll definitely have leftovers to take home. Also took my nieces here, and they absolutely love it. It is located inside the Two Rivers market...

Authentic Mexican Food in Albany! It was a cold, rainy, almost winter day and I was craving Caldo de Res. Taqueria Alonzo's 'hit the spot' but the real star of the meal was my Dad's Chile Relleno.

This place was just alright to me. Pretty mediocre. I ordered a chili rellenos which came with a side of rice and beans, and ordered an al pastor taco on the side as well. In total, I spent around $11 or so which seemed kind of high for the amount and quality of the food that I was served. The pepper, while deep fried, tasted very soft and doughy. It was not crisp at all. It was hard to cut and the cheese on the inside was very watered down by the pepper. This item was hard to eat. The al pastor taco was alright. The meat was all minced up and did not have much flavor to it. While the taco was good, I have definitely had better. I would personally rather go to the Rigoberto's near by. Not a huge fan of Taqueria Alonzo. I had good service here but overall the food quality was not satisfying for me and I know I can find better Mexican food.

I went here last night and had a great time! I ordered the shredded chicken tacos. These are absolutely the best tacos I had! Lots of flavor and a great value! They did not stinge on the ingredients. The tacos are full of meat and ingredients! We had great service and a very nice waitress! I am a reoccurring customer and always get the same satisfaction from this restaurant!

Everyone is happy at Taqueria Alonzo!

My brother visiting from Austin Texas was in the mood for great Mexican food... So of course I took him to the best, Taqueria Alonzo. Even on a dark, drizzly day on a Monday in Albany, this place was busy! We still got great service, hot, fast and very fresh food. Their chips are so yummy and crunchy. Love them! My brother ordered a Chimichanga and ate every last bite, which is pretty amazing considering how humongous it was. We got a lot for the money and I read about the great happy hour too! 4pm - 6pm every day discounted drinks.

Get the pork taco plate, even Anthony Bourdain would fantasize about them. The meat is crispy, favorful and filling...not to mention cheap!

Victorico's is a franchise in essentially Oregon with nine locations I could find on Yelp (maybe…read moremore). It appears to parallel the "El Rinconsito" franchise model in Washington State--ie: a full wall of Mexican fast-food options. Driving back from San Diego, CA to Wenatchee, WA, I drove by an earlier location in Springfield and took a picture of it so I would remember the name. Then stopped here in Albany at a much smaller store. I ordered two beef tacos at $4.29 each, just to try them out. I was quite pleased that they were served in a tray with a sliding sleeve. Compared to Taco Bell who purposely wraps their tacos in paper designed to leak down your arm and land on the floor board-- I really appreciated the service in a tray. (See pics) My other complaint about Taco Bell is that their taco shells are paper thin and fall apart in your hand. Not so with Victorico's. I actually ate the Victorico taco without spilling! For the record: - A crunchy beef taco at Taco Bell weighs 2.8 oz and costs $2.18 - A crunchy beef taco at Victorico's weighs 3.4 oz and costs $4.29 (...yup, I weighed them!) Here's what Victorico's is doing wrong. Their ground beef has little or no spice and no binder (tomato based sauce cooked into the meat). All the taco flavor comes from the condiments and a soufflé cup of hot sauce (if you use it). That's a huge oversight. With their huge menu and generous proportioning, they're positioned to leave Taco Bell in the dust. But their taco meat recipe is seriously lacking. (...yes, I'm a trained chef in Mexican cooking and I know you can't judge a whole restaurant by one menu item, but taco meat is at the core of good taste.) ...so I'll give Victorico's the benefit of the doubt at 4-Stars

I bought three mangoadas from this place today. The cups…read morewere literally just mango and a couple drops of the spicy sauce. I called to see if they can remake my order the proper way or refund me they wouldn't. This is the second time this has happened. This place does not value their loyal customers and they're full of greed. They told me I've had it for three hours it's too late. I explained to them how I was not home. My husband picked them up and put them in the freezer. When I arrived home. I went to grab one and realized it was just mango. I know it had nothing to do with the time because I told them they have not been touched. I can bring them back in to show them or send them a picture through text message. They refused. I spend so much money here every day breakfast burritos, mangoadas and this is how they treat people. Never again. They make purchases half ass to save money, give it to us and when we complain they won't fix it. This is exactly why people feel the way that they do your advertising one thing, and it's another. Steal by charging us high rates. When we complain that It's not what they advertised they treat us like we are lying, trying to get over on them or trying to steal from them. All while stealing from us.
