My quick fix with my Tacos.. It is a hit and miss, probably who cooks that day.. I usually order my Taco y Tripas.. Some overcooks it that it's already too bitter, some cooks it to perfection and knows how to cook those Tripas.. But the best thins is their TACO BOWL.. Oh my!! I come here a lot. I ordered 2 grilled chicken tacos. Tacos where not grilled well or cut. I ate one taco and then brought the other one back, once I realized how bad they tasted. They only replaced one taco, when I clearly stated that both the tacos I ate were not good, not grilled well, and not cut. Manager insisted she can only replace one in a condescending manner. There are two types of Mexican establishments. One that serves warm and hearty food. Or one that serves food that will wreck your insides to the point where your body needs to purge it out. Atmosphere: Do not bring a girl here please! The atmosphere is one big turn off. The lighting gives it an eerie feel and it isn't the cleanest of places. Their food menus have prices missing. I didn't even bother Dining in. Service: Don't take this the wrong way, I have been to many Mexican restaurants, but the lady at the counter barely knew English. I literally couldn't order what I wanted until my Spanish speaking friend helped me out. I wanted No Beans, No Lettuce, and Rice added in. Not too hard right? She gave up on taking my order and flat out said no. Also we had a big to go order, and she did not label anything whatsoever despite us requesting before hand. Food: I ordered a Skirt Steak Burrito. No Beans, No Lettuce, and with Rice added in. The Beef tasted like it died a miserable death. Dry, Smoky, and of low quality with the most lackluster rice I have ever had. There was no tomatoes either! Though I wonder if the tomatoes had the potential to drag down the food any lower than it already has..The grease was just more sadness to this already depressing meal. Urghhhhh... I write this review hours after the uneasy bowel movements. I had to clean my temple of this unholy food. Haven't had food that made me this unhappy in a while. All of the food here is delicious but I specially love the sopes de asada. The only thing I did not like was the attitude from the girl in the drive tru. I asked for a medium drink and she said small or large, I asked her for a medium and with her attitude yells SMALL OR LARGE!! I was like wtf tell me you don't serve medium instead of yelling. I like the fact the place is open 24/7, but I don't really like much on the menu. We tried the tacos and torta. I wasn't expecting the chicken to have red sauce and onions in it. The tacos were overloaded with filling and topping, which is great for those who love big tacos, but I prefer street sized tacos. I like to taste the tortilla a bit more. My spouse had a side of rice and beans, he said the beans tasted bland. We added salt and some cheese on them back at home and that's what they were missing. The rice was good. Not the most authentic choices for Mexican food but both are really tasty (and I love chips and dip). They are also open late so at least you get some descent food late at night. Went here last night with my sister and my daughter and the food was excellent! The service was also great- the staff were attentive and helpful. My sister and I each got burritos with steak. They were HUGE. We also got an order of chips and guacamole, and an order of chips and pico de gallo. I was thinking we would get Chipotle portions of pico and guac.... uh, no. Each was served on a small salad-size plate, and the plate was full. On the side were tortilla chips with a beautiful char touching the edges. The steak itself was flavorful with a nice outer sear. The burrito came topped with melted cheese, salsa Verde, and crema. We totally couldn't finish our food because of the impressive portions, but we left happy, full, and with tomorrow's lunch! My daughter asked for chicken fingers, and I suggested that maybe she should pick something else because she can get chicken fingers anywhere. I'm glad she got them anyway, because they were clearly scratch-made. They took a chicken breast and pounded it out, breaded it, and fried it themselves. They were delish. I verbally reviewed my order to make sure they had everything since it was a pretty big order. I drove 25 min to get home and the order was wrong. I recommend to never set foot into this restaurant. When I first walked in to this restaurant all I could think of was the over powering smell of bleach! Although, I'm not sure what they were cleaning because this place looked quite dirty. The tables were sticky and the floor looked like someone attempted to clean it, but didn't know how to actually use a mop. Disgusting! As for the service, it was as bad as the cleanliness of the place. The girl behind the cashier taking our order was rude and obnoxious! As we looked at the menu's to figure out what to order the girl huffed and puffed and was visibly annoyed. The place was absolutely empty and we only took about five minutes to decide what we wanted!!Furthermore, my friend asked the cashier a question about an item on the menu and the girl irritatedly rolled her eyes and walked away without saying a word!!
