Frequent visitor. Love their food. Service is not bad/not great. Atmosphere is dingy, but perfect for a hole in the wall.

Decent food. Decent service. Go there for lunch from time to time at work. Nothing special really. Good for a quick burrito. Don't waste your money on the tacos. Beans and rice is just meh. I follow my grandfather's rule about Mexican restaurants, if the beans and rice isn't very good, that tells you what you need to know. It's It's staple, and should be good enough itself. As I said, meh. The burritos are pretty decent tho. And the price is fair. *shrug* read more

She literally made my take out enchilada right in front of me, by adding precooked chicken to a cold store bought tortilla, microwaved it and added sauce and cheese, topped it with sour cream and gave me a side of rice and beans for over 11$. Formerly known as Senor Sams. Ran by a mother and son. Still open during COVID-19 pandemic with a drive-thru. Order two big burritos and they were STUFFED. One being a chicken and other being ground beef. Also, bought a kids cheese quesadilla and asked for an extra scoop of rice instead of beans with no hassle. This is a tough one. Most of the complaints given about the place are true, I personally have had many bad experiences with sanitation and customer service. I also have been eating here for around 15 years and consider their food some of the best in the valley on a good day. About 1 out of every ten times I visit the quality is lower. I genuinely wish I could give them a five star rating, but maybe someday they will improve their problems. Still love em though. read more

Food is exactly the same as Senior Sams just not much flavor. Needs seasoning. Staff is friendly enough. I got the big burrito it was mehhh. Got kids quesadilla... daughter wasn't into it. And a mini big burrito. Food is just bland. Didn't like the hot sauce or stale chips. They also over charged me 2 dollars. read more

This place is surprisingly great! I was always hesitant to go there even though it came highly recommended by my family members. They make all the food to order and the taquitos are amazing, I could eat them every day. The portions are generous for the money. I think it's a family business as well. read more

Our favorite place to eat on a Saturday - very tasty food, prepared to order, and fast friendly service. I particularly love their enchilada sauce and their homemade salsa. Most menu ingredients are made on site - including their Carnitas which is fabulous - lots of yummy flavor. I buy a pound periodically to make my own enchiladas at home. No one of the three people that ordered with me enjoyed their food. I don't enjoy nachos that have had it's cheese melted in a microwave (Chef Mic). If I wanted those kind of nachos, I'd have made them at home. We live incredibly close, but will likely never return. read more

Nothing has changed. This restaurant was formerly a Senor Sams, but, under the same management as before, is now El Poblano. The food is more authentically Mexican than the other Senor Sams in the area - they have a little salsa bar and things on their menu not offered at their former namesakes. I recommend the fajitas, either the vegetarian ones or the meat ones. But it's all good... read more
