The flavors are bright and complex. The proprietors are incredibly generous and you can see how much this is a labor of love. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and clearly picked for their hospitality. We sat outside under a warm Oregon night! Buen provecho!

The Morisqueta-a glorious heap of cilantro-lime rice, crisp pork belly, and glossy salsa-was a triumph: smoky, fatty, and bright all at once. The Baramundi Yucateco, draped in achiote and grilled to flaky perfection, arrived with a tangy pickled onion crunch that sang of the Yucatán peninsula. Two dishes worth the trip alone. But then came the Mole Poblano. What should have been a soulful, chocolate-chile epic arrived as a tragedy. The first whiff was disconcerting-musty, almost gamey, as if the sauce had soured in transit. The taste confirmed it: bitter, flat, and muddled. Beneath that murky pool, we searched for the promised Duck confit--only to find a few desiccated shreds, bone-dry and defeated. At $36, it felt less like a plate and more like a warning. Service was warm, the mezcal list thoughtful, and the room buzzy with good energy. But for every brilliant bite, the mole reminded us that even the best kitchens can lose their way.

We ordered the asada gourmet tacos $10, asada burrito $10, and Combo 1 pork pupusa with fried plantains and rice & beans $5.50. My favorite was the pupusa. Soft, cheesy, and good flavor. The sides of salsa were sooo good with everything. Their tacos came with handmade tortillas and the "guacamole" was perfect. Again, add some of that salsa with it. Now, I don't typically like my asada burritos with beans, so I asked if it could be made without it. They said the beans were mixed with the rice. I decided to just try it in the burrito. The rice & beans was soooo good, even on its own! Black beans is definitely the way to go. I was also surprised that I liked the fried plantains. I've tried a it a couple times in other places in the past, even a few spots in Miami. However, I was never really fond of them. It's still not something I would regularly order if it wasn't included as a side, but this place was the best I've ever had. This food truck is not pretentious and you get a lot of food for your money. Go check them out.

You enter & are properly greeted with a welcoming smile & pleasantries, seated & then swiftly graced with warm, crispy tortilla chips with warm frijole dip & salsa. All of it delicious & with refills !!! We were doubly pleased they serve Corona NA.! My partner ordered the seafood chimichanga & I ordered the chicken asada. It arrived in perfect time & looked most appealing. The tastes for both of our different menu selections were delicious. My favorite aspect was the fact that the dishes were not overpowered with salt or grease that is often the case in many Mexican restaurants. The flavors were balanced & the meat tender...... nothing was burnt passing for " caramelized " food. As a foodie & excellent cook myself , I was very happy with this meal. Deliciousness, ambiance, & awesome senor servers with a singing cooking staff!! If your chefs are happy, that stands for a lot!!! Right?! We loved finding this gem of a place & it felt comfortable & "just right" on our road trip. My only complaint: they are not located in our town!!!! You will love it here... plenty of menu options.... we went early on Sunday which probably helped ( no crowded frenzy to deal with).
