On the price I have to rate 2 star. $25 person for breakfast (w/ drink & tip)... is just simply too pricey. This will be a regular stop for me when I hit Medford... and I'm a retired person that has to look for value. This is a okay value b/c the food/service is excellent. I was craving a breakfast burrito, and when I saw that Memo's offers green AND red sauce options, I had to check them out. Service was friendly, not super fast, which is fine since my food was made to order. $13.99 for a very large breakfast burrito that came with rice and beans; very fair! It came with scrambled eggs and your choice of two additional fillings; I chose chorizo and pico. It would have also come with cheese, but I have a dairy allergy. They were very accommodating, listened well, and I appreciated that! The sauces on the burrito were good. Funny, I got so excited when I saw I was able to order both green and red, and the waitress knew what I meant when I said Christmas style. I order Memo's via grubhub whenever the breakfast lazies hit us. I LOVE the poblano eggs and the crepes. Oh my gosh and I order a giant coffee with horchata and mix em for an all-day delicious caffeinated DRANK. My 6yo splits meals with me and always loves the treat of a breakfast, as well. I have yet to dine-in, so I can't speak to service or ambiance, but if their delivery is any indication of quality then I would place a hefty bet Memo's dishes out a superior experience. So first, the food here is pretty good and we'll probably go back. The restaurant itself is funky. The building has housed a series of restaurants over the years, and is something of a jumble to look at. The staff was friendly and the service was good, the expansive menu has lots of choices and, at least for us, the portions were huge and the food was well prepared and tasty. The plating, especially, was a notch above what you might expect at a place like this. I wish they'd clean it up a little. The restrooms are not even close to ADA compliant and weren't that clean either. Not filthy, but c'mon, you can empty the trash. And I resented the fact that they had some weird MAGA/political photo hanging in the dining area. Really? So I had been working since 430 this morning. I was exhausted and about to eat my arm off trying to think of places to grab breakfast. Almost all the trucks and restaurants I love seem to be closed on Mondays. Then I remembered a recommendation for memo's kitchen and called to order. I got the chorizo omelette, which came with a choice of beans and rice, home fries, or hash browns. It also came with a choice of corn/flour tortillas or toast. I mentioned a cold coffee drink, but when she said they had horchata, I switched my drink. Then she told me they could make me a horchata coffee, and I was like "whaaaaaat?! Sign me up!" Y'all, it was so much food! I couldn't even finish it. But the flavor of the omelette was absolutely fantastic. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were huge. My horchata coffee is a goner. At first I thought it was a little pricy, but with how much food I got, it was easily two meals. The woman who took my order was super sweet, made conversation while I waited, and was attentive. Ugh. So good! Had the enchiladas--the chicken was breast meat that was juicy and lovingly seasoned. I don't know if they make their tortillas fresh but wouldn't be surprised if they did--they had a luscious corn flavor that shone through the perfectly tomatoey, fresh red sauce. He said they start service at 6 AM, and that was a winner winner for me. That totally fits my schedule and it was an authentic amazing Mexican breakfast. I had chiliquilles - TO DIE FOR GOOD! My cousin had a unique style breakfast with beans rice in a bowl with all these yummy additions. We both ended up taking half our meals home and ate them the next day for breakfast. If you're looking for a true authentic Mexican food; this is the place to go. I certainly will make a point to have another meal here on my next visit to Medford. We had the worst experience there. Walking in, the place smelled terrible, all of us gagged immediately. The server made it very clear that she didn't support "our kind" and told us she didn't believe we should have basic human rights. It was disgusting. We ended up leaving pretty quickly. I highly recommend going elsewhere. There are plenty of places owned by kind people who believe in equality and basic human rights for all, and where the place doesn't smell like mothballs and rotten corpses. read more

I wouldn't have thought to go in but for the fact that my car was being worked on at Chico's and I had an hour to kill. Chico's offered me a ride or a loaner car but I asked them for recommendations for a good breakfast place and they said Memo's was just about a block away and was good so I just walked over. The atmosphere was through-back vintage and they serve the classic American fare plus Mexican cuisine-influenced dishes such as their Fajita or Chile Rellano (sp?) Omlettes. The waitress is very friendly. The coffee was a little weak but free-flowing so you will eventually get the caffeine that you need. The music is an eclectic mix of vintage tunes; very pleasant.
