Always a hit. The chicken and tritip are juicy and flavorful. Never dry. Their burritos are great too. The Simi Valley location is better than Moorpark.

Really fast and friendly service! I called to place an order for pickup and it was ready in under 10 minutes. The food is great and portions are pretty good. The ambiance reminds me of pollo norteño in Oxnard. I'm satisfied I found a great option close by.

I've heard good things about this place; a few of my friends order catering from here for parties, so I've been wanting to check it out. Came for lunch and ordered the tritip and chicken plate that also comes with beans, tortillas, salsa and a grilled jalapeño. Food came out pretty fast. Tritip was sliced thin and very tender. Chicken had a nice flavor. The salsa was tasty and jalapeño spicy which I like. Restaurant is on the smaller side, about 7 or 8 tables. It has its own parking lot; there were a few spaces next to the restaurant but not sure if there are more in the back. Definitely a good lunch option and would eat here again.

Combo plate with tri tip and chicken, tortillas, beans and salsa. Chips and salsa, and drink were extra.

Fast, fresh, great service, and quality food. A little hole in the wall with a family atmosphere. The food is affordable and always delicious.

I've lived in Simi for 5 years and feel stupid for waiting this long to eat here. This was hands down the best meal I've had in Simi .. and it's not even close. Clean fresh ingredients

Great service great food quick and delicious. Ordered the tri tip and chicken combo burrito. Took them about 10 mins if that. 4 out 5 only due to the fact not much tri tip in it still bomb tho

This place is Absolutely Amazing! Great Fresh Food! Very Clean Restaurant! Very Friendly Staff!

I had the Chile Relleno combo with a chicken enchilada. My wife had the steak and shrimp fajitas. The Chile Relleno was the best. It was stuffed with real Mexican cheese. Very tasty. The chicken enchilada was good, bit needed more chicken. The fajitas were tasty, but maybe not the best we've tried. Still worth getting. We left extremely full and satisfied. I've been hearing about how wonderful this Mexican restaurant is and I can see the community agrees! We waited about 20 minutes to be seated - not bad at all! The hostess, servers and busboys are so friendly and on top of EVERYTHING! They have a full bar, the margaritas are great! It's very loud in there so be prepared! Five of us dined and everyone loved their food! We started with shredded beef nachos which were wonderful! The chili verde, chicken enchiladas and asada plate were all a hit! I personally could not wait to order the chicken mole' enchiladas (I LOVE mole' and heard theirs was amazing) BUT THEY RAN OUT! So disappointed! That's all I wanted, never even looked at the menu! It's not even 7pm yet? Why oh why do you not have enough for the Friday night rush!!?? When our waitress came back to to tell me they ran out of it, (she was very sweet and apologetic) and she had already put everyone's order in - I had no idea what I wanted ‍ so I ordered a chicken taco which didn't come out until about 5-10 minutes after everyone else's food was served. Other than that snag (my reason for the 4 stars not 5) their food is awesome! I'm definitely wanting to come back for the mole' and highly recommend coming here!

My friends and I came here for dinner the other night and I was absolutely blown away by this spot…read more Visually, it's a stunning place and they've done a fabulous job with the aesthetic as it's the kind of place that feels like a party. Neon lights, cute signage, and overall they just did a really great job with the design and execution. There's a lot going on but it doesn't feel cheap. Ambiance is definitely A+. For dinner on a weeknight we found this spot wasn't too busy but we also came after happy hour. It was a relaxed vibe. Service was overall pretty good. I felt like all of the gals working were very very sweet and nice. Also, anytime we stopped them to ask for refills and such we got what we asked for. That's my only upgrade as since it wasn't super busy, it would have been nice for the staff to catch the refills on water or salsa on their own/more proactively but hey, it was again a relaxed lowkey night and the staff couldn't have been lovelier. I'm just curious how the service would be if they were super busy? Now on to the food and drinks. The menu was very impressive! Solid cocktail and drinks menu. I'm bummed I didn't get a cocktail but my party doesn't drink so it was more fun to get an agua Fresca with them. The guava one was good and served nicely chilled. However, next time I'll definitely get a cocktail because their drinks looked fun and beautiful. The food was definitely the standout for me. I ordered the cheese enchiladas Suizas and they were a 10/10. Not comparable to most enchiladas I've had but the sauce was fantastic and unique. I really loved these enchiladas and I'd honestly get them again. Solid flavor in the rice and beans as well. My friends also enjoyed their meal and it seemed like everyone was happy. The pricing is a little steep for Mexican food but also the ambiance and presentation make sense to me why it'd be a little more. For the three of us the bill was over $100. And that's for three mains and three non-alcoholic drinks. Normally at $33-ish a person I'd hope for at least a beer with my enchiladas, so keep that in mind. As a special occasion place or a spot to celebrate this spot is truly fantastic. I honestly loved my meal so much that even with the price point I'd rush back and bring more friends because this spot is vibey. Nice staff and a cute spot to diner, 5 stars in my books given the quality, taste of the food and the overall experience.

The service was friendly and attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised by their lunch menu. There were lots of options, and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the chile relleno combo; which comes with an enchilada, beans and rice. It was honestly more than enough food for us to share. We also ordered the tinga taquitos. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. For drinks, I started with the spicy cucumber margarita, which was easily a 10/10. It was so good that we ended up ordering a pitcher to share. What happened on my most recent visit (Feb 7, around 1 p.m.) was deeply concerning. I was falsely accused by management of making an "inappropriate" comment to a hostess--without any specifics, without verification, and without any meaningful opportunity to clarify. My only interaction with that employee was a brief request for Sweet'N Low at the front counter. There was no conversation beyond that. Despite this, I was confronted and warned I could be banned if it "happened again." This is the second time this manager has made incorrect accusations toward me. I had no conversation whatsoever with the hostess. A Better Business Bureau complaint has been filed. They acknowledged it and requested a response from Yolanda's. To date, there has been no response to BBB or to my direct written correspondence.
