    Asada quesadilla

Food is good, we frequently eat at this place. Today we ordered 1 burrito and 1 asada quesadilla. When I asked for salsa I was told I had to pay for it. They don't longer give you a free salsa.

Returned for our second time and it was even better than the last! Big portions and a great value! This time we had the Chile Verde, asada tacos and taquitos. The Chile Verde was the best I've had anywhere! Definitely recommended! Handmade corn tortillas too! Can't wait to come back!

    Carne en su jugo
    A A.

In search for a taste of "carne en su jugo," I found Taqueria Jalisco 3 nearby while I was in Simi Valley. The carne en su jugo came as a clearish broth with plenty of grilled beef and bacon. It was very comforting on a rainy day and really flavorful. Carne en su jugo translates to meat in its juices. It was just what I needed on a rainy day. The warm tortillas could have been better as it tasted like the average commercial tortillas you would pick up at the grocery store. I love when places take the time and effort to make their own tortillas or choose a local tortilleria to supply their tortillas. The turn off was their chips. I saw stains of salsa on the chips as if they were recycled chips from another table. Not only did I spot red stains on the chips, they tasted old and stale. For a taste of Jalisco, I would recommend a visit, just be warned that their chips might be stale and recycled from the next table. It seemed to be a very popular place with Latino men for lunch. The service at the register is very friendly.

Pretty big space but only one single toilet bathroom which was very clean & had an air freshener present so you didn't smell the person before you. Food- I had the steak fajitas. A little smaller than I was expecting but Omg this was sooooo tasty! Steak was perfectly cooked with a GREAT flavor/seasoning. Veggies were cooked just right so they were a little crisp without feeling slimy. I honestly think about this dish often & always try to find a reason to go back. Service- Fast, friendly & always able to accommodate our large party. Wait staff would notice your drinks being low & would promptly refill them or ask if you were ready to order another adult beverage. Drinks were decent but nothing that stood out to me. Go give them a try!

I've been hearing about how wonderful this Mexican restaurant is and I can see the community agrees! We waited about 20 minutes to be seated - not bad at all! The hostess, servers and busboys are so friendly and on top of EVERYTHING! They have a full bar, the margaritas are great! It's very loud in there so be prepared! Five of us dined and everyone loved their food! We started with shredded beef nachos which were wonderful! The chili verde, chicken enchiladas and asada plate were all a hit! I personally could not wait to order the chicken mole' enchiladas (I LOVE mole' and heard theirs was amazing) BUT THEY RAN OUT! So disappointed! That's all I wanted, never even looked at the menu! It's not even 7pm yet? Why oh why do you not have enough for the Friday night rush!!?? When our waitress came back to to tell me they ran out of it, (she was very sweet and apologetic) and she had already put everyone's order in - I had no idea what I wanted ‍ so I ordered a chicken taco which didn't come out until about 5-10 minutes after everyone else's food was served. Other than that snag (my reason for the 4 stars not 5) their food is awesome! I'm definitely wanting to come back for the mole' and highly recommend coming here!

Neon lights, cute signage, and overall they just did a really great job with the design and execution. There's a lot going on but it doesn't feel cheap. Ambiance is definitely A+. For dinner on a weeknight we found this spot wasn't too busy but we also came after happy hour. It was a relaxed vibe. Service was overall pretty good. I felt like all of the gals working were very very sweet and nice. Also, anytime we stopped them to ask for refills and such we got what we asked for. That's my only upgrade as since it wasn't super busy, it would have been nice for the staff to catch the refills on water or salsa on their own/more proactively but hey, it was again a relaxed lowkey night and the staff couldn't have been lovelier. I'm just curious how the service would be if they were super busy? Now on to the food and drinks. The menu was very impressive! Solid cocktail and drinks menu. I'm bummed I didn't get a cocktail but my party doesn't drink so it was more fun to get an agua Fresca with them. The guava one was good and served nicely chilled. However, next time I'll definitely get a cocktail because their drinks looked fun and beautiful. The food was definitely the standout for me. I ordered the cheese enchiladas Suizas and they were a 10/10. Not comparable to most enchiladas I've had but the sauce was fantastic and unique. I really loved these enchiladas and I'd honestly get them again. Solid flavor in the rice and beans as well. My friends also enjoyed their meal and it seemed like everyone was happy. The pricing is a little steep for Mexican food but also the ambiance and presentation make sense to me why it'd be a little more. For the three of us the bill was over $100. And that's for three mains and three non-alcoholic drinks. Normally at $33-ish a person I'd hope for at least a beer with my enchiladas, so keep that in mind. As a special occasion place or a spot to celebrate this spot is truly fantastic. I honestly loved my meal so much that even with the price point I'd rush back and bring more friends because this spot is vibey. Nice staff and a cute spot to diner, 5 stars in my books given the quality, taste of the food and the overall experience.

I also saw they had a taco flight. I knew I had to try those as well. I wanted to try all the different meat options to find the flavors I like. The Birria taco was my favorite flavor. Some of the meats were a little dry. I wish they had a little more flavor to them. They gave me two different salsas to add and that helped. But I would definitely like to see the flavors of the tacos improve. I always crave sushi. That was a must try for me. I thought I would try the fiesta mariachi roll for the first trip here. It was delicious. I'm craving more! I think next time I will have to try some of the other sushi options since this one was so good. Also since they basically have flights for everything..... I would love to have a sushi platter flight... with my margarita flight! I will definitely go back. I can't wait to try more menu items. The staff was all very attentive and friendly.

I was specifically told that reservations were not needed and that seating was on a first-come, first-served basis. We ended up wasting our time and had to scramble to find another place that could accommodate our group. What made the experience even worse was the way the staff handled it. While my dad was calmly trying to speak with the employees at the front desk to understand what happened, they literally walked away from him instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue. That level of disrespect and lack of customer service was unacceptable. If the restaurant has different policies for major events like the World Cup, they need to communicate that clearly and make sure all employees are giving customers accurate information. Between the misinformation and the dismissive attitude from the staff, this was a terrible experience. We definitely won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone expecting good customer service.
