Ordering online was easy. We tried this store about 3 years ago and received black chicken. Tried again today and not black but dry as the desert. I visited at 7:50pm on 5/19/23 - the girl at the window did not have a name tag on but she was so fast & efficient with the best attitude. I have a lot of personal experience working in customer service positions & the way she handled my order was 100% what I would expect anywhere. Up through today at approximately 1:00 p.m. the young man that was the cashier at the drive-thru messed up my order when he was repeating it and he messed up my order when I pulled up to the window the prices were way different the young man was very rude he does not know customer service or he does not know cashiering and his job I would definitely highly recommend him to be put in a different position because he's not very friendly and he's very rude plus he doesn't know the menu or how to operate a cash register read more

Very disappointing, the avocado chicken wrap was not as good as usual. Wrap was too brown tasted almost burnt, lettuce was old and brown, no pico on it like it says would be. Worst first experience. I ordered a 2 piece chicken and asked for a leg and wing, I was ignored and they gave me a leg and a thigh and the thigh doesn't even look appetizing. On top of that we had asked for condiments (we were in the drive through) and they told us we had to pull around and get out of the car if we wanted condiments! I almost lost faith in El Pollo Loco, I was super excited that they were in the neighborhood . When they first moved in everything was fabulous good quantity, hot food, and quick service. Unfortunately over the months they seem to decline. I placed a call to the district manager his name is Joe extremely accommodating to his guests, I have been back twice this month and both times received five star service! If you've had a bad experience with El Pollo Loco within the past six months give them another shot the new general manager seems to be putting order into this restaurant and it seems to be on its way back up to five stars again! read more

So I went in to order a fajita burrito.... they had no fajita veggies. Ok I'll order tacos... didn't have the proper sized tortillas. Couldn't get the salad because no lettuce, couldn't get the chips and guacamole because they had no avocados! I visited El Pollo Loco on 43rd.Ave & Cactus Location, the the service was great from Sylvia from the very first impression to the last impression. i noticed she was going around the lobby asking customers if they were happy with the service or if there was anything she could do for them to make their visit more enjoyable. When she came around to my table she asked the same.She was also cleaning all tables,chairs, salad bar, fountain drink station , taking trash out and while doing all these different tasks still providing excellent customer service. In my opinion she's definitely the Wow Factor in this restaurant. she's also very energetic & customer friendly, she deserves recognition!!! I dont normally post reviews on food chain restaurants. But I'm making an exception today. My husband went to get dinner at this particular site. The order was to be the 2 piece meal with mashed potatoes and rice as the sides. Also corn tortillas. The receipt was correct. My husband was given the food and he left. When he got home it was wrong. Received flour tortillas which we dont like. Mac and cheese instead of mashed potatoes. We dont like mac and cheese btw. I told my husband to call as this was unacceptable. The only thing they could do is ask him to drive all the way back. After he hung up we decided going all the way back late at night was ridiculous and not worth it. We decided to get dinner at a closer place in our neighborhood. We will not be going back as this was not the first time our order was incorrect. I would give negative stars if I could. Also, the lids on the rice and the mac and cheese were not the right fit. If I could give this location and a 0 star review I would. We tried calling to order and they didn't pick up after a few times of trying to call we decided to go onto their website and order while we were placing the order we put in our credit card information and it said that there was an error however we got a text message saying that the funds were pulled from the account so we went to El Pollo Loco to receive our order however they said that it was not showing up even though they had already been paid they had us wait 15 minutes to be able to see if it will come through and it did not. They basically said that the order did not come through on their side even though we had already paid and that the funds would be reimbursed to us in two business days however that is an accurate because they would not know that we never received the order. They did nothing to help us get the order. MANAGEMENT is awful! And lost a customer because of how it was handle. The doors were left open and flies were buzzing around. Some guy sneezing all over the place contaminating 20000cuft. The order was wrong.
