A word of caution if you expect real avocado on your chicken avocado burrito don't order one here because the avocado you get is some sort of green sauce which had a sour taste very disappointed it was take out so we didn't find this out until we got home. This place is crap. I ordered the chicken avocado street tacos. They were COLD, the tortillas were so flimsy that you couldn't even pick it up to eat and they did not add the salsa or the creamy cilantro. Extremely upset with this location. I called to ask about the pick up and was rudely responded by an employee who did not want to give me their name. I was then passed off to a manager who did not want to let me speak. There was noise around me and she hung up on me before allowing me to move away from the noise. I really enjoy the food at the Turlock location. Unfortunately, I work close to this location. I was hoping to pick up my order on my lunch and my appetite had been ruined due to the unprofessionalism. As far as 'fast food' goes, the food is very tasty. Food quality for taste and freshness would get 5 stars out of me. The reason I gave 2 stars is the service here stinks! The price on the food is a little high. That would be acceptable except for the fact that 1) service is very slow here, 2) staff there makes A LOT of errors, 3) management seems apathetic and reluctant to correct their mistakes. This is based on our personal experiences with this particular resturant. We have eaten at this resturant about once a month for years. We noticed that every time we would go through the drive-thru, they would short us some of the items we ordered. We would arrive home, open the bags, and then realize the mistake. We would call immediately to inform the manager on duty of the shorted items so that the issue might be corrected. Each time this happened, the manager on duty would speak in a tone as though it was our mistake. I suppose they thought we were just trying to get something for free. This happened THREE TIMES IN A ROW!!! Really? You can't get it right ever? We weren't looking for a handout, just for the items we already paid you for without having to call, drive back to your resturant--using our gas and time--only to be treated like someone scamming the system. This last time (today), is the straw that broke the camel's back. Coming back for the third mistake, my wife informed them that she was there to get the tacos that we had paid for and not received. She had her receipt for the tacos, and she decided to order some other food while we were there. They prepared our new order, but once again forgot the freakin tacos. Honestly, it's only $3, but you only had one job! I was so irritated at their level of incompetence I had too leave. That being said, I doubt I will be going back. It is not worth the aggravation! I think I will either visit Baja Fresh, or go to El Rosal and get a sit-down meal for the same price without the mistakes. If you are going to use their drive-thru, I strongly encourage you to keep your vehicle in park while you inspect your order, thus saving yourself from going back to get your food. Now months later and multiple calls to corporate (Which is almost impossible to get a hold of) I still cant get a call back, or the gift cards ($100), so I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card.
