I am now done after being frustrated many times hoping it would get better as it's a newer store. It has to take work to be this bad. This is so close to my house it's convenient. Every time I come to this location they have cones blocking the entrance to the drive thru and when I try and go into the building and open the door it's locked and the business hours say 10:30am-9:30pm I'm confused as to why they are closed and not open also when I order items off the menu they are frequently out of certain items this location is fairly new but the one on main is better than this one smh read more

This spot has been having staffing issues for months and months. Staff locked the door after I went there for lunch today because they didn't have enough staff. It took forever for my one-item order. They can't seem to get orders correct. Every single time I have ever gone to this location, the order is completely wrong. Either they hire total morons or the employees who work their just don't care. They don't even know how to make their own menu items. I ordered one of their grilled stuffed quesadillas. I have been going to this location for a really long time. Every time I am there, the staff is always top tier with their service and making sure that everything reaches up to expectations. Monica in particular has always been so accommodating. She makes you feel so welcomed and always puts forth her best face even when you can tell that their location is going through a lunch/dinner rush. This location is the worst of all. Look at the reviews. Tonight we went; dining room closed. Had to use drive thru. No wings and legs. So we ordered the more expensive breast dinners. Got home (and you know it was all cold), no salsa, ordered only beans and got the rice. There is no point in eating at el pollo loco if you don't get the salsa. It didn't seem like anyone knew what they were doing. The order gal looked like she had trouble reading the orders. And our bag of food proved she can't read. On top of that the chicken was burnt in my salad & I ordered for my coworkers & their chicken was also burnt & hard. I would give them zero stars if I could. I eat double chicken avocado salads very often. They can never get it right. Chicken is either hard or no avacodo. What is going on with this restaurants in general? Very freaking bad service, it's not open until late, I came to this location because the Eastvale location was horrible, and they Grote on the door open on till 12, and I was waiting for 20 minutes outside, and then they changed from 12 to 1 PM, they didn't even let us know, we were like five people waiting outside for it to be 12 PM. Chicken is extreme dry like jerky. Corn tortilla crack when I roll them. That mean the corn tortilla is not fresh. The corn side look slight brown so maybe it is burn or overcook. There is another El Pollo closer to my home but it is not good so I come to this one, but very disappointing as I just point out. With the COVID pandemic, I think they have problem finding experience cook or manager. I would stay away from all El Pollo for a while. This is unfortunate because I really did love El Pollo. I absolutely love this location. The food has been fresh and seasoned well every time. The tortilla chips are soooooo good and the portions on tacos etc was abundant. How hard is it to double check an order before you hand it to the customer? I ordered (2) 10-piece "familia" dinners tonight. Both dinners come with tortillas. We got NO tortillas with either one of the dinners. This came with a total of 4 sides, but I ordered an extra large side.
