I said just put the guacamole on the side and burritos shouldn't have sauce on it. She kept repeating it has red sauce I said no sauce strictly this stuff I said only. Doesn't take a rocket scientist... she kept saying cheese sauce I said No, we want cheese, literal cheese, not any sauce anything. I also ordered shrimp fajitas and steak nachos with just steak and cheese, and the burrito above. The chicken in the burrito was kind of dry, like they possibly boiled it then shredded it. Her food wasn't very flavorful. My bf said that his nachos were tasty but needed more cheese sauce. My plate wasn't flavorful at all. To me it seems like this is more Tex-Mex with white people in the kitchen. iI from California and have been to Mexico many time..so I know authentic Mexican food and this doesn't come anywhere near it. It was basically the same fajita ingredients served in a molcajete. Being from California, I'm used to molcajetes having things like cactus, different hot sauces, jalapeños, and a lot more variety and flavor. I understand every place does things differently, but this wasn't quite what I was expecting. I'm not sure if I would come back, but I may be willing to try something else in the future.

Again, where's the cheese? NONE TO BE SEEN. I called the manager to discuss my concerns, but I was dismissed with the comment, "everyone makes mistakes!" Instead of receiving any acknowledgment of the poor quality, I was told to either return for a replacement or make the effort to come back for a refund. This is not how a business should ever operate. I shouldn't have to return to a restaurant that failed to deliver a satisfactory meal. The steak was gristly, tasteless, and evidently old. Spending $30 for this was a WASTE of my earned money. The manager's tone suggested that it was my fault for choosing their establishment, which is entirely inappropriate. There are numerous excellent Hispanic restaurants in the area, and quite frankly, I regret not trying one of them instead.
