Mocha Lisa is the best coffee shop in town. It starts with the owner, Sheri and the manager Ashley. They are very welcoming as is the staff. The baristas are great, they take special interest in providing a wonderful coffee experience. The coffee is very tasty, with a nice variety of delicious bakery. Mocha Lisa has a very cozy environment with a nice deck and pergola. I would highly recommend this coffee shop. read more

Oh how have I missed the adorable coffee dollhouse for so long?!?! My sister told me about Mocha Lisa but didn't warn me about how cute it is. I pulled up to a full parking lot behind a little house not far from the Wind Point area of Racine. Curious, we walked in the back door, feeling like we were about to visit family at their personal home. We found a small kitchen that led into three more rooms for sitting. Tables, sofas and creaking wooden floors made the experience even better. The kitchen literally looks like the original kitchen when someone lived here. There were tons of seating options making everything feel so cozy. There were many locals/regulars sipping and chatting with each other. I loved that! They also sell a ton of cute gifts too, My friend enjoyed her latte and muffin. I opted for a simple espresso. Everything was so delicious. The lemon blueberry muffin was filled with so many blueberries mixed with a bright fresh hint of lemon. The young girl who assisted us was the perfect fit for this sweet coffee shop. She was friendly and helpful. I appreciated her kindness. I cannot wait to return soon. read more

First visit here. Ordered the banana bread cold brew ... I was nervous because banana is a hard flavor to produce without it tasting artificial. AMAZING. Delicious taste. My husband had a basic vanilla latte. Also delicious. Cute place inside - a little cluttered but that's ok .. the young ladies that helped me were very nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in. How lovely! I've always just drove past this coffeehouse, as initially I wasn't sure what it was as it almost just looks like a house. Took the time to stop in today and I loved it. Weekends seem to be busy, however, the line moved quickly. They have a few tables inside as well as several outside. Coffee was delicious and their baked goods looked great. Mocha Lisa, the beautiful little quirky gem buried in the Racine area. They have such a large drink menu filled with coffee, teas, and Italian sodas. They have fresh baked pastries from local vendors and even a few gluten free delights. My favorite visit to Mocha Lisa was when i asked for more ice for more drink (to be fair, I was sipping on it) and they offered me coffee ice cubes just in case I didn't want to water my drink down further. How nice! The assignment was caffeine and they understood it. Can't wait to go back! PS. The inside is super cute with loads of local art and homemade items. The parking lot was busy when I arrived but I was able to squeeze in. I was greeted immediately by the owner, Sheri. She asked about the weather. She was very personable. There were three people ahead of me. I used the restroom and it was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. I waited about 4-5 minutes. Keegan asked if I was a rewards member. I told her I was here last week when I heard upon exiting that it was double punch card day but no one asked me about rewards when I ordered. She stated that she would give me credits and apologized. I ordered a hot white mocha and a cold dark roast with ice for my husband. Anna asked if I wanted a coffee carrier. The coffees were ready within minutes. There was art work all around and outside for sale. There was a nice sitting area outside and inside. By the time I drove 10 minutes home the hot coffee was still warm. It was delicious and my husband was satisfied with his cold brew. I highly recommend this quaint, artsy locally owned coffee shop. read more

How have I not reviewed this place yet?? Serves Colectivo coffee, some bakeries, and pasties. The pasty comes from Michigan, they said. And it's frozen. they'll microwave it for you when you order. So don't expect to get something fresh. But it was still good! All the gals are nice, though not necessarily friendly. Some will whip up a better latte than others. I've not been enough to remember who does it better. It's got the cutest interior, with lots of charming little things for sale from other local artists/vendors. So I visited Mocha Lisa for the first time in a while today as I don't live close. I was thrilled to see all the wonderful outdoor seating that I hadn't seen before. There's a deck on the side with tables and chairs and they still have the seating around the trees that's so inviting. I don't know the names of the two young women who were working there but they were so helpful and kind. Not only do they have a darling place but their customer service is great! And I know for a fact that the manager there is fantastic. read more

coffee sizes are ginormous but the coffee tastes like hot water, way too watered down. the coffee was much better in the past. this establishment has a lot of positives--a clean, temperature controlled, gorgeous building (can I call it that?), free WIFI, and super friendly staff. even the bathroom at this place is clean! i come here as much as I can and my favorite part of this place is the relaxing atmosphere. One of the best things about Caledonia is Mocha Lisa's! Cute house turned coffeehouse...perfect place to meet friends or even business clients/colleagues for a tasty drink! All of the barista and the (new) owner are so sweet and accommodating! I don't get there as often as I'd like to, but I love everything about it there, with my go-to drink being their biggest BREVE (iced or hot, usually with SF Vanilla Bean syrup). Drink punch card (now an app) is so appreciated! The seating outside on the deck and in the yard, along with the Free Little Library, are extra special touches. My husband and I stopped into Mocha Lisa's last fall. We had spent all day Saturday decorating our house and yard from local pumpkins, hay bails, and corn stalks. We were in the mood to continue our local hunt for fall. We stopped by and were immediately overwhelmed by how small it is inside ML's. The line was short, but very slow and no one knew where to stand. We ordered two mochas that had a fall play on the names and ingredients, which was a cute idea. However, they just tasted like normal mochas. Nothing special, and not worth the five bucks a cup. We wanted to stay, unfortunately by the time we both got our drinks we were on the brink of anxiety attacks so we booked it outside. I think the idea it really cute, unfortunately the layout of the home and the slowness of the workers just won't be for everyone. read more

I want to love this place because it's so freaking cute and quaint. I lived close by for a while and my parents still do. I've been in a few times, but the drinks are too sweet for me. I asked for the workers opinions on what wouldn't be too sweet the last time I went in, and it was still too much. I didn't finish my drink. I'm also the person who has to get a flavored latte everywhere and usually likes sweet coffee drinks. But the place itself is a great spot for working, studying, catching up with a friend, etc. read more

I have been to Mocha Lisa before and since I live close by when I was on my way to school I thought I would give it another go. Mocha Lisa has always never disappointed and this time was no exception. The service was excellent, the place was clean, and my drink was excellent. First is the service. Mocha Lisa has one ordering station and there can be either one or two people working it depending the time of day. When I visited there was one person working the counter and she moved fast. No issues with the service here at Mocha Lisa. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Next is the cleanliness. From what I saw this place looked very clean. The tables were washed inside and outside. Because you can see your drink being made it looked like it was properly made in terms of being clean. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Finally is the product you get. This is what brings me back to Mocha Lisa. I ordered a Frappe with Chocolate Syrup and smashed M&M's. This was full of flavor and I keep getting it. Love this place! It's super adorable from the second you pull in the lot. Once you get inside you step up a set a of squeaky stairs and are in the most adorable little house/coffee shop. Every time I'm in there I wish I had my laptop to sit and work for a few hours. The coffee is so Delicious (after getting used to the quality of Hawaiian coffee, this place makes me so happy). Very cute spot, friendly staff and Collectivo coffee and goodies, which is always a treat this far away from downtown. Cozy with lots of local art for sale on the walls and various gift type items for sale as well. My only complaint would be that other peoples conversations carry very well, the privacy/quiet factor is a little lacking. This is the perfect local coffee shop. It feels much cozier than a Starbucks. The coffee and pastries are fabulous. My personal favorite are the cranberry almond scone and chocolate cream cheese muffin. (Not low cal, but sooo yummy!) They also have some lunch food, (soups and sandwiches,) but I've never tried any. I love the variety of syrups they have. WAY more than you see at other places. I often get creative when choosing and combining flavors. If you're not feeling creative, they always have different special drinks with cute names and fun flavor combinations. I love that they also support other local small businesses by featuring crafts, jewelry, art, etc.. for sale. This is a must visit! read more
